So when I was paying Inverkeithing a visit I had to pay it a quick visit for a snack! The morning rolls are brilliant and Baynes uses these for their filled rolls. Nothing can beat a ham salad roll from Baynes, at £1.30 it truly is a bargain! On top of this, Baynes also provide the best Scotch pies in Fife. There are not as greasy as others and has a crispy pastry to them. In terms of cakes, the snowballs are very tasty, and have plenty of jam in the middle. The fudge donuts as well are very tempting! All the produce on offer are sold at fantastic prices, very cheap indeed. This particular shop was clean and the staff were also very helpful! Best Bakers in town!

It takes proper skill to bake this type of bread. Sourdough bread has a much deeper, more complex taste and it smells delicious. Most loaves are inspired by classic Italian bread and he also does a wonderful ciabatta. Not only do they sell these excellent round sourdough wholemeal and white loafs but also special flavoured bread, like walnut, garlic, rye & caraway seed etc. At only £2 a loaf or £2.50 a 'special' loaf this guy is cheaper that your, "high-end" supermarkets such as M&S and Waitrose. There is simply no comparison to the quality of Woodlea Bread. It is baked fresh every day, in an honest, traditional fashion. This is the real deal! Woodlea Stables is actually a functioning farm, mainly having free range chickens. This means you can stock up on wonderful free range eggs in addition to sacks of potatoes, freshly baked cakes and scones.
