George was the Project Supervisor, Cesar handled the floor refinishing, Enrique did the painting, and Isaac took care of the electrical fixtures. They refinished the floors, painted my entire apartment, and installed fixtures with great attention to detail. They also have the proper insurance to meet NYC co-op and condo board requirements. It's rare to find such a skilled and dependable team that communicates clearly and delivers quality results. I got recommended by a coworker who had her entire apartment done by them. I needed to redo my bathroom and add a stand up shower. They laid out my options to match my desires. I explained I was most likely selling the place within 5 years and did not want to invest too much. Jay gave me a lot of money saving tips that did not jeopardize quality. Best to tell them your budget and wishes and leave the rest up to them. Like DDC says "We can do $10,000 bathrooms or $75,000 bathrooms" they have skilled workers who are clean and polite. Not your ordinary pushy contractors. It was my pleasure to speak of my experience with DDC.

Long story short, I agreed to the pricing for 2 people for 8 hours/day, for a three-day project, starting today. 5 hours in, one girl left because she was tired. So we sent the other girl home. They were also super slow. We've hired help in the past, and 1 woman did twice what she did in half the time (she's not available for this project). I called them and got "Oh I didn't know, etc," but in the end, insisted I pay the full price for the day! I work in property management, and know this process well. While they may be a good company, the 2 people they sent today were lackluster, and that does not make me confident that they have better workers.

The job included painting architectural ceiling mouldings, baseboards and all the doors and trim. Their work is excellent and precise, particularly cutting between the mouldings and the walls - they gifted in this area. Without asking, they painted some walls with four coats, dictated by the lighting, quality of the coverage. They were perfectionistic which I appreciated. Our Interior Designer who is very picky was highly impressed and said they did an outstanding job. Also, each day they cleaned up, vacuumed (yes, vacuumed) and put all the furniture back in place. It reminded me of the Harry Potter movie when Harry took his wand and magically put back together the rampaged room. Also, Pollmann Suran bought all the paint and arrived on time everyday at 9:00 AM. They left on time each afternoon (4:30 PM) so I could move-on with my evening plans. They even helped me re-hang my pictures. Apparently they do a lot of art gallery work and have an eye for hanging pictures. Nice! In addition to the painting and professional skills, they are super nice guys who are artists, really. All three have Master of Fine arts and they love to paint. Call these guys, you will be equally impressed.
