Enjoyed a great lunch with my daughter here. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We shared a…read moresalad and sandwich. They even offered to split both for us and served them in great compostable serve-ware. The place is clean and inviting with numerous healthy options- fresh juices, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, fruit cups and more to grab and go. The sandwiches, salads and pizzas are made fresh to order. Our salad and sandwich were absolutely delicious. We split the Greens Salad and Herb Focaccia sandwich. Can't wait to come back for breakfast and one of their fresh baked pastries. I also noticed they serve gelatos and sorbets, but they weren't out yet when we stopped in. Will be back for those as well.

It's the perfect spot to grab a good sandwich, salad, coffee and more. I was eyeing the acai bowl and lox bagel, which I'll definitely have to make my way back for. We went halvsies on the sandwich salad duo, and they were kind enough to split each of them for us. The results were a really nice sized portion of the greens salad and herb focaccia sandwich. I honestly could have eaten just one of the halves and been satiated. The herb focaccia sandwich came with Fresh Mozarella, Heirloom Tomato, Arugula, Balsmamic Glaze, and Focaccia. The greens salad came with Local Greens, Shaved Veggies, Cucumbers, Tomato, Quinoa, and House Vinaigrette. Both were really fresh, healthy and delicious options. I also didn't get a picture, but by the counter there were dozens of delicious looking pastries. Stop by this market if you're looking for some good eats by the beach.

Great breakfast spot. It's situated in the Westin hotel and has great ocean views. They have indoor…read moreand outdoor seating. As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.

I had really high hopes for this breakfast visit due to the great rating this restaurant has but my…read moreexperience fell short. My order consisted of the Machaca Skillet and a side of Papas Racheras (potatoes). The positives were, a) the portion size (massive amount of food) and b) the great flavor of the Machaca (shredded beef with onions, bell pepper & tomato. Now the negatives, a) the 3 poached eggs were all over-cooked/hard yolks, b) the side of potatoes were cold and had an unappealing texture. I'm not positive but I have a feeling they were left over from the day before because I arrived at 7am which is when this restaurant opens so if they made the potatoes fresh they couldn't have been this bad and c) after the waiter took my order and never saw him again until I was ready for the bill. He never checked in on me which is a shame because I had pierced all 3 eggs to show him the hard yolks and ate very slowly so the proof would be on the plate when he checked on me but alas, he never showed. If I lived in the area I may give them another try because of the potential with this dish.

That's a serious issue. Service felt rushed and dismissive. I was repeatedly pushed to order faster and didn't feel welcome to take a moment and enjoy the selection. Spent about $55, tipped 20%, and still had to insist they fix the allergy issue when the food came out. The response felt reluctant. Food was just okay--ham and cheese croissant wasn't even hot. The best part was the company I was with and the matcha iced coffee. If you want good croissants with a more welcoming experience, go to Croissant Time.

A Truly Unexpected Bright Spot in Fort Lauderdale…read more This is my first time ever leaving a review, and honestly, after reading so many negative reviews (including ones about this Starbucks), I felt it was finally time to put something positive out there. I'm visiting Fort Lauderdale on vacation, and after a long flight and a one-night stay in a hotel with a bed that sagged in the middle, I found myself wandering the streets at 4 a.m. with a terrible backache. Between taking ibuprofen, being offered what were clearly stolen "iPhone... or maybe AirPods?" (the guy could only get out that it was an Apple product but couldn't quite figure out which one), and watching the crescent moon over the Atlantic, all I could think was: Starbucks will open soon. And that first cup of coffee would make everything better. When I walked in, the barista--Marie Taylor--greeted me warmly. I asked for a Pike Place in a ceramic mug with some cream and asked if I could take the ceramic cup outside. Her response--"Yes, you can sit anywhere you like"--was said in such a genuinely warm, inviting tone. Marie then went to the back, grabbed a real ceramic mug, and even warmed it with hot water first--just like a seasoned coffee pro. Somehow, watching her pour out that hot water sparked an idea for an important lecture I'll be giving soon to about 1,000 people. Then she presented the coffee with both hands, almost like a small gift. And honestly? It felt like one. That simple, thoughtful gesture set the tone for my entire morning. Even the little imperfections--the not-so-tiny coffee spill, the guy lighting a cigarette beside me despite the giant "No Smoking" signs, the odd house/dance music blasting from the entrance of the Westin--none of it could ruin the moment. I finally gave up on the surrounding noise, plugged in my own (legitimately purchased!) AirPods, and turned on my wife's birthing playlist from 12 years ago--oddly perfect for a quiet sunrise. At one point a Home Depot commercial cut into that playlist, but even that couldn't break the mood. As I sat there watching the sun rise over the Atlantic and the sky shift into a deep crimson, I genuinely felt tears well up. It was one of those rare reflective moments that stay with you. My experience was so good that I went back inside and ordered oatmeal made with steamed milk to settle my stomach from the ibuprofen. Perfect. For a store that gets a lot of undeserved criticism, I just want to say this: my visit was amazing, and Marie made my early morning in Fort Lauderdale something I'll remember for a long time. Thank you. And yes--nothing like an allegedly "positive review" with a long rant in the middle, right? Thanks again, Marie!
