This cute new cafe in Utrecht is really something special. It's located just outside the city…read morecenter so the crowds don't really go there. Still it's not a far walk from the Oude Gracht. The cafe is quite big and also has a terrace in front of it. There are a lot of seats and tables but still they could be all taken if you come here during the weekend because it's such a popular place. You can come here for coffee with pastries, lunch with sandwiches/salads and a fresh juice or drinks and snacks. I tried a cheese cake with berry rose sauce and beetroot nut cake and they were both delicious. The coffee is also nice. The interior is lovely. Lots of plants and cute decoration and the whole place just has this super chill vibe. The staff is friendly and the prices are good. This is my new favorite place in Utrecht!

The restaurant itself is a lovely and cozy spot for a special occasion or just a nice dinner out. I highly recommend the three course menu with the wine pairings. The wines that they choose perfectly match the flavors of each dish. We've been back several times and the food and wines are always perfect. Be sure to reserve in advance on the weekends.
