Khera's is a homely little place in the center of the city. I am always greeted by the same friendly Indian lady every time I visit. It is always a good time catching up with her about various events and discussing days long passed. The clientele seems to be mostly loyal customers who keep coming back for their fix of ethnic food, fresh produce, and often just friendly conversation with the owner. Khera's is also probably the only place in Amsterdam to find fresh Indian cottage cheese. Prices are average, selection is vast, and the taste of home, priceless.
