Pat said…read morehe could make the top of the tower "arched" to match my soft top, and he put this in writing on the purchase order. When I picked the boat up, the top of the tower was flat and not arched. The antennae mount was also not relocated as I had requested. Pat had no explanation for these changes, and offered no solution. They had also installed a switch panel in my dash. The cut-out for the switch panel was misshapen, oversized, and crooked. The hole is so big that the panel doesn't fully cover it, and water can leak through the hole to the wiring behind my dash. Now I have a tower that doesn't match what I ordered, and there's a huge hole in my dash that will require an expensive fiberglass repair. I've tried to reach a resolution with Pat but he won't respond to my emails.

We came from Redding CA, a six hour drive for us to Salem to buy a trailer that was advertised as…read more"like new", "immaculate" and when we got there, not only was the trailer not clean: shower and sinks dirty, pee (yes, pee) in the toilet, nothing had been cleaned, but there was wear to the upholstered dinette area seating and the back of the seat was so sun damaged, that it was cracked severely! The stove burners showed moderate use and cupboards still had stuff in them. This trailer had received zero attention from this seller on this inside! I was expecting the condition would be as advertised, as this is the picture he painted. Either he openly lied about the condition, or he did not know the actual condition. Either way, it was way beyond disappointing, and I was fuming! I tried my best to be professional and just tell him what I saw without spewing, and he did drop the price for us, but this did not make me see him as a reputable seller. You cannot change first impressions, and ours was and still is, not good. Would not buy from him again or recommend him.

Regarding the warranty work, it was obviously an involved tedious repair and I feel it was repaired professionally and thoroughly. The warranty repair finish work was sloppy on the interior. Straightline took responsibility for this. I brought the vehicle back in and they corrected all issues. In addition to warranty work, I had elective paint work done and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. The color match to the factory color is beautiful. The paint warranty is superior.
