He came over a few hours later, I explained what I needed and why. He grabbed his tools, did some testing and told me I didn't need to replace anything. Powerfact was recommended to me by a building contractor I'd hired to do repairs and once I signed their contract to rewire, they wouldn't communicate with me or reply to my emails, only sometimes conveying answers via the other contractor. This led to headaches, delayed timelines, and extra visits that wouldn't have been necessary had they clearly communicated and answered my questions.

I was getting a new vehicle and needed an EV charging point installed. Along with this I wanted some additional sockets setup (mix of 110 and 220v) Chris came in surveyed what needed to happen, figured out the most efficient way to get it all done and was here bright and early. His work was super neat and very well done. He thinks about stuff and explains on what he's going to do and why (eg: length of cord he is going to run and making sure things aren't a trip hazard etc). Plus he also examined my sauna and made some suggestions, re-arranged breaker panel to make it more efficient. As an aside the man's smart and made some real estate moves when he was young (yeah, I wish I'd done that. I was street racing in my youth years!) Learned some interesting stuff. All in all, a great experience.

I had a challenging wiring problem (undetectable via instrumentation due to metal in walls) that my first electrician refused to fix, but Puccio was able to resolve (although it took two visits). While at my home, I also had them address some minor issues (e.g., 1 outlet replaced, 1 junction upgraded to light switch) in addition to the main wiring problem. The team was friendly, professional and cleaned up after. They told me up front what their hourly rate was and warned me in advance what the total cost might be. The final bill reflected that rate/estimate (and minimal materials cost with expected hours) so I feel they are very honest. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are expensive (initial visit / 1st hour is about 300$, but less after that), but I can tell you that a good electrician is very hard to find and they are worth it. If you have an urgent problem or are on a tight budget, you may wish to look elsewhere, but if you want excellent electricians and are patient, use Puccio.

The recent work was a quick and dirty job and I was wondering if he would even be interested in taking something like that on. Fortunately he was available and came the next morning.
