Interesting story.. when we were browsing the different DJ video bios on VOXDJS, we were very interested in DJ Roam but decided on another DJ instead in order to stay within our budget. On our wedding day, we found out that our DJ called in sick due to covid related symptoms and another DJ stepped in his place. To our pleasant surprise, DJ Roam graciously volunteered to step in for our DJ when the company called him since he was the closest in the area to our venue. We were ecstatic to see DJ Roam at our wedding after all.. it was definitely meant to be. DJ Roam was very professional, flexible, and became quickly up to speed with everything that we had envisioned and planned for our wedding. He was so sweet and took the initiative and time to follow us around the venue during cocktail hour to confirm final details of our grand entrance, how to pronounce people's names, first dance, and other dance set songs. As soon as reception started, DJ Roam was able to quickly set the vibe of the party and get all our guests hyped up for a fun night. And a fun and memorable night it was, which I believe would not have been made possible without DJ Roam. I believe DJs are truly the unsung heroes of a wedding because at the end of the day, everyone just wants to party and have a good time and it takes a very special DJ to facilitate this and do it well. We received so many great compliments on our DJ from guests and even vendors who praised DJ Roam for how he was able to pull off an amazing job even at short notice. yo DJ Marc Minero was fantastic at our Palm Springs wedding. 100% would book him again, for any kind of event. We gave him a list of songs our guests had requested on their invites and a couple of genres for the dinner/cocktail hour, but otherwise left the music to his discretion and he absolutely killed it. I had multiple people come up to me on the dance floor or by the bar stoked that he was playing something they wanted to hear. In the days immediately after the wedding even my 60+ year old aunties would not stop talking about how great he was. Whether you're looking for an indie/bohemian vibe, wedding classics, dance club hits, or west coast/bay area hip hop Marc can throw it down. Considering this was a wedding he was cognizant of the older crowd and did a great job keeping it inclusive. That is, until my bride asked for "ratchet music". Marc delivered. Good times. Aside from spinning great tracks, Marc was professional and easy to work with - he asked questions neither my wife or I had even considered in planning and was totally prepared for details like name pronunciations for both sides of the family and other venue logistics. He showed up early looking sharp, worked seamlessly with the other vendors, and was a great emcee the entire night. Really can't recommend him enough. I should also mention that the initial booking and coordination with Andy and Rigel was smooth - we booked 5 months out then decided to add uplights later on. Andy made it easy to get in touch with any questions and Rigel was ready to set us up with whatever color lighting we wanted up until the last minute. I pretty much never write reviews, but VOX DJs made it easy to not worry about one of the most important parts of our wedding and for that I cannot thank them enough. We used VOX DJ's for our wedding based on a recommendation from our photographer. From initial contact through execution of our wedding everything was seamless and easy. We worked with Rigel in the office and chose Marc Minero as our DJ. Both were great to work with. We pushed Marc a little out of his comfort zone by asking for a lot of country music and he stepped up to the challenge and executed like a veteran! Vox DJs provided good quality service at a reasonable cost. They were responsive to questions, however communicating between the DJ and the DJ coordinator was sometimes confusing and repetitive. While our DJ, Ruby, did a great job with the music selection and listening to our requests there were a couple of things we would have changed. VOX offers about 3-4 tiers of packages based on what is included and the experience of the DJ. If we were to do this again we probably would have gone with someone a little more experienced with these types of venues/events as the direction and communication to guests was a little shakey. There was also a moment where she chose to have a robotic voice make an announcement for the cake which was extremely odd and not fitting with the event experience. I would recommend that if a DJ wants to do a styled announcement to run it by the bride and groom first. In the end we were satisfied with the service. read more

From the very beginning I appreciated their patience, because I was looking for a very specific sound and vibe, and therefore had to interview a few Djs to find the perfect fit for me. We used Vox DJs for our wedding in Temecula and have no regrets! My first encounter with the company was meeting with Ricky. He was super friendly and helpful in selecting the perfect DJ. Vox has a ton of DJs to choose from all with different styles. You are guaranteed to find the one you are looking for for your event. The DJs that we liked that Ricky helped us narrow down to were all booked so we ended up going with DJ Hallie. We communicated via email, but didn't meet with Hallie until a few weeks before our wedding day to discuss 'the plan'. Immediately I could tell she was going to be fun! We booked VOX DJs for DJ and MC services for our wedding and we were so glad we made the right choice! Harrison Huang (MC) and Trego (DJ) are both amazing! Harrison speaks PERFECT mandarin and English. He always communicates with us in a timely manner and always makes sure he understands our expectation (MC style, family member introduction, etc). We had some last minute change of idea and Harrison was always there to help, and on the big day he totally presented the exact MC style we wanted. We truly appreciate his effort and his fantastic work!! Trego was our DJ and he was so experienced. There are various versions of the wedding march, canon in D, etc, and we told him which version we'd prefer and he totally nailed it. We hired Vox DJs because they were a preferred vendor at our venue (Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, CA). Our main contact at the company was Rob, who was very responsive to our emails/calls. Each of the Vox DJs had an introductory video on their website, which is how we found Gabriel Zamora, A.K.A. DJ Zammy Z. We could tell that he had a great personality and would set the right tone for our wedding reception. He did not disappoint - everyone kept telling us how much fun they were having and how awesome our DJ was! Gabriel is skilled at keeping the event moving at the right pace and dealing with situations as they arise. For example, as soon as we sat down at our sweetheart table to eat our dinner, guests kept coming up to greet us and take pictures with us. That made it very difficult to actually eat our meal. Gabriel made an announcement letting our guests know that we'd be coming around to the tables later but that they needed to let us eat. He was also fantastic at getting guests excited for the grand entrances and motivating them to get up and party! Vox provided an assistant DJ for our event - didn't catch his name - but he was wonderful, as well! I highly recommend hiring Vox and choosing DJ Zammy Z for your event!! read more

I was told about VOX from my venue. And then once I heard our wedding coordinator recommend them too I knew I wanted to book with them. During the entire process EVERYONE who I either emailed with or spoke to were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and personable. In the beginning we booked with a DJ who needed up having some personal issues which meant we had to get a different DJ. When Robert informed us of the situation we were at first extremely stressed since it was only about three weeks out from our wedding day. However, I can't begin to express just how accommodating Robert was to us in offering us a DJ in a higher pay bracket than we had booked at no additional cost. The DJ we got was DJ Henry Jones and OMG he was absolutely AMAZING! We had a Skype meeting with him to talk about the music we were waiting on our big day and straight from the get go he was awesome! So much personality and knowledge about music! On our big day, Henry was nothing short of fantastic! His great energy rubbed off on everyone! You can tell he not only talented at his job but also has a passion for what he does. We also booked our photo booth with VOX. I loved they gave us an option to print pictures on a normal 4x6 without a logo so our guests could actually use them to frame. The photo booth assistant we had for the night was Derek (didn't get his last name). He was amazing too! Extremely personable and funny. Overall our experience with everyone from VOX DJ's was PERFECT! We used Vox DJs for our wedding in San Diego on October 13, 2018. My fiance and I communicated with Ricky and Rigel in the months before the wedding, and ultimately went with DJ Christian Manzo. Ricky and Rigel were responsive, professional, and super nice and accommodating when the first DJ we hired fell through. DJ Christian was great and exactly what we hoped for! My fiance and I didn't want a big dance wedding, just individual walk up music for all the parents and the bridal parties, and music playing during dinner and cake. It was so easy working with Christian, filling out the planning document, and making the Spotify playlist. He did perfectly with everyone's walk up music, playing music through the night and mixing my picks and my fiance's, and handing out the mic for speeches.
