Merion Village

I have never been here before, but I have been working out lately and have a pair of underwear I…read morereally like that are kinda unique, and I thought I might find something similar here. So I went here to see. I am not the easiest to fit, so I didn't have a lot of hope for this, but I figured I would still try. I took a sample of what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly employee Wes, who then showed me 3 to 4 different options and suggested them based on his own taste but also what I had mentioned. It was great. I tried them on and some fit well but lacked some things I wanted and others didn't fit the way I wanted so no perfect match but here is why this place gets 5 stars while I was there I observed other customers in the store and West going above and beyond to offer advice on other things in the store and personal recommendations to the point customers even were saying "wow I really appreciate that information" " that means alot" ect He really showed a "I care about everyone" attitude top notch customer service! He even tried to find something for me, but unfortunately, there just wasn't anything that was there that matched, but we found something close. I just needed a different size, so he took my info and will be in touch when it comes in. I was very impressed with the customer service observed! If you are looking for leather, jocks, or fun underwear, this is the place to check out and the customer service at least if Wes is there is Amazing! They have a lot of fetish stuff and some regular underwear, too. See pics for more. If this review helped you at all, please mark as helpful and follow me for more reviews around the world.

Short North, Italian Village

We walked into this super fun kitchy outrageously entertaining shop…read more I was looking for a " short north" baseball cap. I think he was one of the owners, but he came over to me and he was so sweet. He was trying to show me everything in the shop that said short north.. He was adorable ... I was very close to buying a T-shirt that said " Brohio" So funny everything in this shop was adorable. They were so friendly.

Let me just get straight to the point. This shop is dope af. It's located in the heart of the Short…read moreNorth, directly off High St, and has been around for freakin' 25 years. My first item from here was given to me as a gift, a shirt that said "Are you high?" on it. Pretty funny if you know that they are located on High St. If you don't, it's still funny. Whenever I wear it out people always make comments about it, it's hilarious. Most recently I purchased an iridescent cropped puffer jacket for about $80 and I'm obsessed with it. I was legit just walking by on a Saturday morning and I saw it... then had to have it! Torso is described as a menswear boutique as they have a big selection of men's underwear and "swimwear" but as a female raver, this place is a jackpot for fun clothes and accessories for those late nights when I'm dancing my butt off. They have quirky glasses, masks, hats, super funky clothing, fun toys and knick knacks, and more. If you're on the hunt for a unique gift for a friend, they could very well have something for you to wrap up. As for me, I'll continue to shop here for fun festival/rave clothes and when people ask me where I got them... Torso baby!!!

As evidenced in my photos, they do provide reselling services and corking services for Birkenstocks. This is a service that sometimes can be difficult to find, but they do a great job, and I was pleased with the work completed. I've had my Birkenstock sandals for years and, thanks to Dr. Shoe. they are a comfortable lifetime investment.

You walk in and the place is full of stuff; People's boots, purses, luggage, leather briefcases, leather jackets, and much much more. I had a simple problem. I needed a pair of boots stretched. I have large feet. Sasquatch like. I brought in my Ariats that have been sitting in my closet for 3 years now. The owner is behind a counter piled up with jobs he is working on and equipment he uses to do his craft. He is brusque. "$45. 2 weeks" I think at first "That's a lot to stretch some boots" I go back. He says, brusquely "If they are still tight tell me where, toes, ankles, shaft/calves? I will stretch again" I tell him that I am leaving for work and that I am a flight attendant and I won't be back in town for a month, can I try them when I get back and let him know? He looks at me and nods. I finally get home and try the boots they fit great. So in this crazy economy is $45 a lot of money? To me it is, but to pay a craftsman for a craft that will soon be hard to find, it is well worth it. Bottom Line: my expensive boots have finally made it out of the closet thanks to Dr. Shoe! Extra points for honesty - I went in the other day with a large cheap piece of luggage that had the zipper broken on an outer pocket. He said it will cost you double the cost of a new suitcase to repair that because it would have to be done all by hand and I would have to charge for my time. Thank you!
