As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly employee Wes, who then showed me 3 to 4 different options and suggested them based on his own taste but also what I had mentioned. It was great. I tried them on and some fit well but lacked some things I wanted and others didn't fit the way I wanted so no perfect match but here is why this place gets 5 stars while I was there I observed other customers in the store and West going above and beyond to offer advice on other things in the store and personal recommendations to the point customers even were saying "wow I really appreciate that information" " that means alot" ect He really showed a "I care about everyone" attitude top notch customer service! He even tried to find something for me, but unfortunately, there just wasn't anything that was there that matched, but we found something close. I just needed a different size, so he took my info and will be in touch when it comes in. I was very impressed with the customer service observed! They did a nice job on the reupholstery but there is one (cushion) spring that is not properly tied down such that you can feel it touching on your thigh or butt. It's only a matter of time before it will poke thorough the upholstery. They have told our interior designer, that recommended them, that they can't warranty the work since it is a recliner. Of course, the poor craftsmanship has nothing to do with it being a recliner. Now we have to pay someone else to properly complete the work. BTW, the reupholstery was over $2000!!!

I have large feet. Sasquatch like. I brought in my Ariats that have been sitting in my closet for 3 years now. The owner is behind a counter piled up with jobs he is working on and equipment he uses to do his craft. He is brusque. "$45. 2 weeks" I think at first "That's a lot to stretch some boots" I go back. He says, brusquely "If they are still tight tell me where, toes, ankles, shaft/calves? I will stretch again" I tell him that I am leaving for work and that I am a flight attendant and I won't be back in town for a month, can I try them when I get back and let him know? He looks at me and nods. I finally get home and try the boots they fit great. So in this crazy economy is $45 a lot of money? To me it is, but to pay a craftsman for a craft that will soon be hard to find, it is well worth it. Bottom Line: my expensive boots have finally made it out of the closet thanks to Dr. Shoe! Extra points for honesty - I went in the other day with a large cheap piece of luggage that had the zipper broken on an outer pocket. He said it will cost you double the cost of a new suitcase to repair that because it would have to be done all by hand and I would have to charge for my time. Thank you!
