Called again and the lady said she would relay the message to the service dept. No response. Called again and left another voice mail. No response. I had James as my sales man. I was 36 weeks pregnant when I bought my car from voss. I deeply stressed that I needed a safe vehicle due to already having a child and about to have a 2nd child. James promised and reassured me that I was getting a safe vehicle. I paid all cash for my car and tried to see if they would knock at least a little bit off the car and was told and shown all the "work and money" they put into the car so they couldn't drop the price. I bought a 2005 Honda Accord. This car has the screen navigation system and I was told that it needed the updated cd for the navigation system and that they would get me one. I was also reassured that they checked the navigation system and that it worked. Well I slept on it and thought about it for the night and decided to go ahead and buy it the next day. Right after I bought it I noticed that there is a big dent in the side of the car 3 hours after I purchased the car my check engine light came on and turned out I needed to replace 1 of the sensors. Then noticed that the oil, break fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant was all below the minimum line. 3 days later I get notified that I am going to have to buy the navigation cd myself that they can't give me 1 like I was originally told. 4 days after I got the car the oil change light came on. Not even a week After that the alternator went bad and I had to get that replaced as well. The battery that came with the car was too small for the battery. Then not even 10 days after buying the car I had to replace all 4 tires due to being dry rooted. When getting the tires replaced I also had to replace the routers and the break pads and get an alignment. I finally get the navigation cd in the mail (that's the only way to buy it plus it was over 100$ alone) and find out that the cd player the navigation system is in is broken and that they also lied about that. and now I can't get anyone from voss to contact me or answer me. The crazy part about that is I am trying to contact someone to see where and how I can get the navigation system fixed because I can't even control or turn on my AC it has to be done through that navigation screen. and I need AC before summer because one again I have a child and a newborn. I am highly upset because I paid 5,000 for the car and had to put over 3,000$ into it already after being promised and reassured and shown on paper that all of this work had just been done. I stressed over and over the importance of needing a safe car and if I would have been told truthful information I would have bought a newer nicer car with less milage on it. The fact that they are going to lie to someone and saying and show whatever they feel like just to get a sale blows my mind. Especially when I stressed to them that I had kids. Not only did these damages and issue affect me but they also affected my children. My daughter had to miss over half a day of school because of the alternator then every time we pass the spot that the tires blew she gets anxious and talks about it. Plus now I am behind on all my bills almost lost my home all because some guy just had to make a sale. I had to spend my whole entire savings on fixing a car that I had just purchased. I even stressed to them that I was going to be on unpaid maternity leave that I needed a car that I wouldn't have to worry about for a couple of months. I will now never go there or buy from there again and I will make sure every person I know never buys from there I will do anything in my power to make sure someone I know doesn't get scammed or ripped off just because some A-hole wants to make a sale. read more

Had my car towed in on a Monday. Told me they would look at it the next day. Called Wednesday at lunch time and they hadn't even looked at it yet. When I reminded them what they said on Monday the response was "we have a lot of cars towed in." Service called 35 minutes later and said it was done. Charged me $96 dollars to update the transmission software on the "computer." This is all they did after it left me sitting on the interstate at 80mph. I have bought 5 cars from this dealer and have NEVER been impressed with their service department. read more

I can't begin to recommend Voss Honda's service department highly enough. I took my Accord in yesterday for a strange noise. It was the day after the 4th of July, and I had already talked with two other dealerships closer to where I was (Dayton)--and neither one could get my car looked at that day. Voss said they had a full schedule too but that they'd try to get it on the rack. I took my car and I and worked with Jesse. He was great. They did indeed get it looked at that day (even though a couple mechanics were out that day too). They figured out the issue (which was different than I thought it was). And they gave me sound advice on what to do. I've run into more than one service department trying to squeeze money out of me for questionable reasons, so the honest, responsive, and affordable service at Voss was a refreshing contrast. I'd gladly take my car in again to these guys if the need arose, and for that reason, I would also give them first crack if I were in the market for a new Honda. Even if they aren't the closest dealership to you, you should still make the drive. They're great. read more

This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had in any vehicle I have ever bought in my life. Purchased a 2021 Honda Pilot Touring Edition. Mind you this vehicle is a $46,000 vehicle. Shortly after picking up the Honda Pilot I noticed the drivers side mirror was shaking while driving. Like it was loose. Also, my BIGGEST complaint, the AC on this did NOT WORK! Right away I took it back to Voss to be told that the AC was under spec. Nothing they could do, and cannot even get a mirror for the Honda so they used epoxy glue. 2 weeks later the lane departure and collision system totally went haywire. You would be driving with nothing around and the Pilot would slam the brakes on like you were going into a front end collision. Took the Honda back AGAIN and also mentioned the AC STILL NOT WORKING!!! Was told it's all in specs that's just how it is. This is TOTALLY UNSATIFACTORY to me! It is a $46,000 piece of junk! Now the transmission will not shift sometimes and clunks. Auto Stop start system is now going haywire. Still would not do a single thing for me. Told me "It's Just How It Is". Needless to say I no longer have the Honda. Since Honda can't get many "NEW" units due to COVID-19 another local Honda dealer bought it back from me. When they were about done with my car, one of the service guys came in and told me that my tires were fine and didn't need rotated, so I was able to save $25. I really appreciated that. This is the worst customer service ever, was approved to buy a car on Tuesday was told to come in Wednesday at 1:45pm to sign the paperwork, after providing everything they had ask for , when I arrived they said it was going to take a little longer waiting on the bank at 4:30p told by used car salesmen Brad there was no problem to go ahead and take the car home and he would call be by 10am on Thursday at 4:30pm on Thursday I called him because he had not called me and at this time he tells me that he needs 1500.00 down to make the deal, I was informed at that time we could make the deal with a good co-signer , Friday morning called with a co signed and called and waited 1/2 the day with no response so I called talk to the used car sales manager and he said he was aware of the situation but he would need 2200.00 down with the co signer and when I questioned why he ask what time can he expect to see me with his car! He wasn't interested in doing business with me , this is a week of my life wasted on a worthless business that didn't want my business or money ! Honestly could have not bought my car from a better dealership! Unfortunately something in the engine blew only a month after I bought the car (it was unforeseen). But there's warranty for that, so no worries. How this place really stands out is what they did to help me immediately afterwards. After the incident, I had my car towed to a different Honda than Voss because of where I was located. Superior, located in Cincinnati and the location of my car, said they couldn't get me a loaner car until Monday. Voss said no problem we'll send you a COURTESY CAR (it's a 67mile drive one way to me from Voss) and get you a loaner car for the weekend. Then Superior calls me back and says they can get me a loaner today, but courtesy shuttles don't run on Saturday. I call back Voss and say I don't need to come to them anymore so I don't need a courtesy vehicle. The manager, Ted, then asks if I have a ride to superior and I told him no. So Ted says he's STILL sending the courtesy vehicle and they will give me a ride to Superior. Honestly just wow. I don't think I could ever get service like this at any other dealership. 10 stars if I could. Will definitely recommend this place to ALL my friends looking to buy. read more

My husband usually does my oil change, but as he is unable do car service-like stuff at the moment, I headed over to Voss for that and a tire rotation. While doing those services, Tim the service advisor came in to update me on my vehicle's health The car air filter was original, as was the transmission fluid and the battery. My brakes still have a good amount of padding. Most of us just drive on until we are unhappily aware of a dead battery, etc, so i was glad for the info. I now have clean oil and transmission fluids, rotated tires and a new car filter. The new battery will be installed later this week somewhere less expensive :) If you need Honda service, Voss could be the place for you. read more

I was notified by mail that my Element was included in the airbag recall. I called Voss Honda and made an appointment. When I showed up, I asked the service adviser how long and he said an hour. I told him my wife and I will go to lunch then and come back. I came back in 1.5 hours and it wasn't done. Service adviser told me then that Elements are difficult and to wait in the waiting area. After another hour I was called up front to sign some papers. They then pulled the vehicle around for me and I went home. The next morning I noticed scratches on my dash above the glove box and loose screws rolling around on the floor of the driver's side. I immediately called and I had to leave a voice mail. No one ever returned my call. I then called the customer service number on the paper that was stapled to the receipt and left a message, but never got a response. I then received a phone call from a survey company about my experience there and told them the story, still no response from Voss Honda. Since then I had to take apart the dash on the passenger side and reconnect the a/c duct that was never connected. Not a very good experience to say the least. read more

I have used the Tipp City Honda Service many many times when I lived in Tipp and a few times I have just pulled in without an appointment with a minor problem and the service guys go out of their way to help. I moved to Florida a year ago and was forced back into the area because of Hurricane Irma, I think my Honda missed those guys too and while in the area my key battery signal started going off along with the tire pressure light coming on. Honestly, the sales team member that I had was not helpful at all. I bought a used car, so I had a used car team member. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and he made the process so much longer than it should've been. First, the car I wanted needed a scratch repair, so no big deal I understand that, so I couldn't walk off the lot with the car that day, which I was totally fine with. He then told me that he would call me in the morning, he didn't. I called him and asked about the car and he didn't know, so he said he would call me back within the hour, he didn't. The whole day was back and forth of him saying he would call me and never calling me. Finally about 7 or 8 o'clock that night (the day after he knew I was going to buy the car) he told me I could come finalize everything and pick it up the next day. When I came in the next day it wasn't ready and none of the paper work was ready, so I had to sit in the place for TWO HOURS. I was expecting to sign some papers and be on my way, but no, I was in the waiting room for a good hour waiting for the finance guy to be ready for me. Finally, I get the car. I'm so excited that I have the car of my dreams. I go to adjust the mirrors and the power mirror thing doesn't work, I'm too frustrated right now to take it in. I open the center console and there's a small panel piece (the piece that covers the seat belt) and I look over, and yes, it's not on there. I'm not trying to sound like a goody two shoes, but I bought a car, waited for them to get it ready for me, and it wasn't. read more

Found a vehicle through Carfax listed at Voss Honda. Sent in my customer contact information and received a call back within 15 minutes. The vehicle I was searching for had been sold but the sales person, Tim, notified me that he had another like vehicle, 2015 Honda Civic EX they had just purchased from the auction off lease and had 15000 miles. It was not on the inventory because it had not arrived yet. He took a moment and checked again and recanted by saying it had arrived but was in service for Certification. I asked him to contact me when it would be available. This morning he called and said it was through service and ready but still needed to be detailed, but could come look and drive. I had my wife and son meet me at my work (20 mile drive) and then we drove to Tipp City about 20 miles further away. When I arrived he took me to a 2014 EX with 35000 miles. After the test drive, I asked him where the 2015 EX with 15000 miles was that we discussed over the phone and I drove to see. He stated, we don't have one of those. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed that I wasted my time driving there and he did not know his inventory. I had been a car salesperson for 8 years and never made that mistake. I will never go back! I had to pass a lot of Honda Dealers to go there because I was lead to believe they had what I wanted! read more

I've worked on cars for the past 45 years, but it's getting a bit more difficult to be a backyard mechanic and anyhow new cars require more technical care than the cars I grew up with.This dealership offered me the best price on my new 09 Honda Fit and I've been associated with their service dept. since buying that car in Nov.08.I've never experienced ANY problems with work performed on my car, and their service dept. has performed ALL work on this car exclusively.This service dept. is FAIR and efficient, while not being predatory like other service departments.I've been utilizing service departments of car dealerships for over 3 decades.Their service dept. also has been the most economical for my synthetic oil changes than ANY independent service dealers, and they back ALL their work.Their service dept. is not out to screw the customer-Nuff said. read more

These people really don't know what they're doing! The service department at this location is a bunch of rude old men who do not know anything except cheating customers out of their money! These people are a clear representation of crooks! 2 months after buying my Honda (hybrid) I notice the batteries that drive the engine do not hold a charge after leaving the engine shut off for 5 + minutes, or after being fully charged, the battery level immediately drops to dead. I take it to get it checked at Voss Honda, since the warranty was far from being over (I confirmed after calling Honda's home office). After about an hour, they tell me they're finished. They tell me there is absolutely nothing wrong with my car and what I described is how a hybrid is supposed to operate. They then drop a $70 charge on me for their diagnostic services, and written on the invoice for service performed was "test-drove the car 2 miles". They didn't hook any up and diagnostic equipment or do anything to test the problem besides take it on a joy ride! After refusing to pay the $70 fee for what they called "service", they proceeded to lie to me over and over, saying there was no warranty coverage on my car and I had to pay the fee, and if I had a problem with that, I were to call the Honda corporate office. One month later, I get a recall in the mail for the exact problem my car was having, and had it serviced under a different dealership. Honda's corporate office, of course, told me I was lying about receiving the recall in the mail (even after I faxed it to them!) and told me they would do nothing about the charge from Voss Honda because they don't refund diagnostics (something I didn't agree to in the first place, considering my car is STILL under warranty). After this couple months of hell, being treated like trash and called a liar, I have put my 6 month old Honda cr-z up for sale, and after owning nothing but Honda cars my entire life, it is safe to say I will NEVER buy one again. If you value your money and have any pride, beware of Honda and especially the Voss Honda dealership!!! read more

As a young professional I really felt like Marty, my salesman (who didn't get the sale), tried to yank my chain on pricing thinking I wouldn't be wise enough to realize the terrible deal he was trying to strike.
