We had issue after issue and we had to fix things that he said were already done. it was never safe and was in the shop constantly. Since our daughter is getting ready for college, we needed to sell and get something reliable. We tried to sell it ourselves and one gentleman was thinking of buying it and took it on to get someone to look at it before he purchased. There were still so many things wrong and they said that we were so lucky our daughter wasn't in a ditch somewhere. From being a plow truck with rusted power steering lines, brake lines to a rigged O2 censor so it wouldn't alert any problems,,, the list goes on and on. Knowing all the problems, we just couldn't sell it to anyone so we contacted Kent and told him we were turning It back in. Kent (owner of Tip Top) gave us some money but we took a &13k loss. He said he wasn't going to resell the truck because it was dangerous and would take it straight to the auction. FOUR days later he now has it for sale and is advertising the truck for $18,995 On his lot. This is ridiculous. We have paperwork stating all the problems. Run from this place.

We have never had a bad experience with them. The only reason we go back is to trade into something newer. The father owned the business back then, but the sons worked there as well. I very highly recommend them and if you're in need of a vehicle from people you can trust, check them out. No, I'm not related to them either, just a long-time satisfied customer.

Not hearing from them I called and after three calls, I finally got to talk to Josh who had been assigned to my case. He told me that they did not have time to run a diagnostic on the electronics but they would get to it the next day and the cost would be $140. "Did you test the battery?" I asked. "No but we will when ready we run the diag on the electronics. The battery test is included." he answered. Then I asked "Why run the diag?" "Because the car wouldn't start." It was logical to me that a simple battery test would be the first thing to do. Josh had ruined my trust it was obvious that he was trying to scam me. I'm finished with Arbogast. After 34 years of buying and servicing my vehicles at Troy Ford\Arbogast dealerships, I have no need for them.

I came and drove it, seemed like a good truck, so I financed it. I went by their word as a dealer that I was getting a fair tuck. 30 min to leaving the shop check engine light came on. Camshaft position sensor, changed it, engine light is still on only for same thing. IDK next day discovered snapped leaf springs. After changing the camshaft sensor they reset the check engine light. IDK if this is true but it takes about 40 min for the light to come on after resetting it. This really leaves me to think they turned it off to hide it from the buyer. Now when I turn popping noises happen, another suspension problem. Not to mention the amount of rust and the 1 brand new piece under the truck which someone straight piped the truck to hide there is no catalytic convertor. This also was not told to me prior to buying. Nothing but good was told to me at sell. I have tried several times which I can prove for them to make this right. I am a paycheck to paycheck guy. I trusted them and was completley taken advantage of. I will say I am obtaining a mechanic report and filing suit in the next week. Now I pray my experience is enough for others to see they need to do all they can so this dont happen to them. This guy was so worried about my review and nothing to do with the lemon he sold me. His only care was reviews. Protect yourself!!!!! Oh, he did say I could get the truck fixed there but I would pay for it because this is my truck now. This is the person you are dealing with. KNOW THAT PROTECT YOURSELF!!!! Go through and read the people that had a bad experience. These are hard working people who placed their trust in this dealer and read how he argues with them. Tough guy behind a computer. I think it shows a lot about a mans character not in the best but the worst and how he reacts to the worst ones. I wish to God I had read reviews before going to this place.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt Stump during my process of leasing a car. At an extremely…read morehectic period in my life, the process was very pleasant due to Matt's stupendous service. He spent a considerable amount of time asking me questions about my needs and what I was looking for so that he could genuinely find me a car that was fit to my unique style, credit/income, and practical day-to-day needs. Being from out of state and in dire need, Matt ensured that I could complete paperwork online - he made sure that I received the paperwork, walked me through it so that I understood all of the information detailed in the fine lines, and the appropriate areas were initialed and signed. Additionally, Matt set up all of the logistics so that my car could be delivered to me in a way that was both time and cost-effective. This genuine approach is what makes Matt stand out from any other car salesman and car buying experience I've had in the past. In the past, I have DREADED just the idea alone of buying a car and all the activities that go into the car-buying process, but my recent experience has changed my perception. Red flags from the moment I bought my used vehicle. The car was a mess and I requested a detail…read morebefore I purchased. A week goes by and they tell me the cars ready. The only thing they did was wipe the dash and shine the tires. There was garbage from the first over in the center console, glove box, and under the seats. Was not vacuumed. They told me to call to BRING IT BACK to be detailed... About 6 months go by, I explained how the vehicle was starting to overheat, ABS/traction light came on, radio would not work ( I purchased a bumper to bumper warranty.). I was informed they could not replicate the overheating issue. On the way home, vehicle started over heating, coolant leaking everywhere from my hood to my windshield. Within an hour of leaving the dealership, I had to have it towed back to the dealership, which I was not reimbursed after multiple attempts. They had my car for TWO MONTHS. I had to receive a whole new engine because it had blown. (Radio never got fixed.) After picking up the vehicle I immediately called and spoke with the manager to inform her it was doing the same thing again with the coolant temperature. I asked if they fixed the problem that caused the engine to blow or just swapped engines. I was assured "it got a whole new (used) engine. There shouldn't be any problems". Fast forward a few weeks, power steering fluid had a leak caused from swapping the engine (so I was told). A month after the engine was placed... surprise surprise the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT shines bright. Auto parts store scanned. Coolant thermostat needs REPLACED. I'm thinking this was the problem in the first place. If I didn't have a warranty through this dealership, I would not take my vehicle to be serviced here again or buy another vehicle from them. I was so excited for my vehicle and it's been nothing but a nightmare.
