We received the scooter on August 7, 2026, and it has never worked since the day it arrived. After contacting Voro Motors, they sent a controller and expected my husband to repair his own brand-new scooter. We were not provided with an adequate repair video or clear instructions showing him how to complete the repair. When we asked for help, we were told that someone would FaceTime my husband and walk him through the repair. We were also told that the lead mechanic would contact us directly. Even though I do not believe a customer should be expected to repair a brand-new scooter that arrived defective, my husband completed the repair. The controller did not fix the problem, and the scooter still did not work. Voro Motors did provide us with a $100 refund for the inconvenience of my husband having to repair the scooter himself. I appreciate that acknowledgment, but the $100 refund did not resolve the actual problem -- the scooter still did not work and has never worked since we received it. Communication throughout this entire process has also been extremely frustrating. We would estimate that we had to initiate contact about 70% of the time just to find out what was happening with our scooter. We were repeatedly left waiting for updates instead of being contacted as promised. After weeks of going back and forth, we were told that a replacement scooter would be sent under the warranty. We waited for information and a tracking number, only to later discover that the replacement order had been canceled. Once the replacement was canceled, I requested a full refund. My refund request has still not been properly addressed. Voro Motors also has not provided a prepaid return shipping label or arranged pickup of the defective scooter. They didn't want to issue a refund or switch to another scooter or even transfer me to a supervisor or manager, in fact they gave me the run around wasting more of my time saying they will do something about it and after some days of waiting all they say is that they can't do anything.. Here's a breakdown of this terrible product "Emove Roadster" that cost me to lose 6k and a lot of my time; - First issue, scooter supposed to run 80 miles per hr but unfortunately, there's an uncontrollable wobble that can cause you to fall to an injury reaching 40 miles an hr. - on the 2nd day, scooter left me stranded on 40% battery due to "insufficient power" to make the scooter run. - tail light started flickering on the 2nd day as well - scooter would overheat on a 2.5 mile drive to work -After installing the damper for "stability", the scooter would still wobble hard at 40 miles per hr, simply not safe. - Today my tire popped leaving me stranded again. - just so you know, I bought the scooter 7/3/25. We are on 7/17/25 and I've experienced all these issues with in these days. I own 4 segway scooters and bought this one at VoroMotors to try out something new. Never have I regret my decision so bad, I've never gone through something like this with Segway. I took the scooter to get inspected and received an email from VoroMotors saying that the technician reported "no mechanical issues" can you believe that?!? They returned me the scooter the same day and they didn't even test drive it themselves to say that there were no mechanical issues. Issues included the battery not fitting correctly, a bent rear fender rubbing the tire, inconsistent display readings, and eventually an E003 motor error that stopped the scooter completely. Instead of offering a straightforward return for a defective product, support repeatedly tried to steer the situation toward repairs and replacement parts. At one point a representative described the return as a "courtesy gesture from one person to another," implying that my request for a refund on a defective scooter was "entitlement." After weeks of back-and-forth communication the scooter was finally retrieved, but the refund still was not processed. The situation was only resolved after I filed a dispute through Affirm. After reviewing the documentation, Affirm ruled in my favor and closed the loan. On May 23, I received the scooter I had ordered to solve a problem, but it has only brought me more issues. By May 30, after less than 8 days and fewer than 20 miles of use, I called to report that after the second charge, the scooter had discharged again. They seem to be stalling for time, making me waste more of mine, as they neither replace the faulty scooter nor provide a credit for me to purchase a new one. This is deceptive advertising, which is illegal in the United States. The scooter is described with different features on their website, and the salesperson convinced me it was a good decision. Moreover, they expect me to replace the battery--which is supposed to be replaced every two years--on a scooter that has issues after less than 20 miles of use. I have evidence to support my claims. Brought the scooter in February 2024 to adjust the brakes. After picking up the scooter the next day I went to work and on the way back my rear brakes failed and front brakes locked the wheel when I stopped abruptly. So I came to to them in August 2024 explaining that situation and asked them to change the throttle screen and a voltmeter because they were damaged in an accident (I didn't use scooter all this time because my leg was hurt and still does, almost broke it). I took the leap, decided to stand instead of sit and cough over about $1500 more for a new scooter than I spent on my stolen electric bike. After a little research I settled on Kaabo. Specifically, Kaboo Wolf Warrior X GT. I was disappointed I could not purchase that particular scooter directly from Kaboo and had to settle for a vendor. The vendor was Voromotors. That disappointment quickly turned into a beautiful blessing as my Voromotors experience has been "GOLDEN". From the online POS to delivery turnaround, to online and phone questions to customer service. My experience has been 110% over satisfactory. To dive even further into why I would choose Voromotors for all of any future electric scooter purchases, I also experienced how Voromotors retains their customers via their service department. As a new electric scooter rider who previously only rented electric scooters for my daily commute, I had no idea my personal electric scooter could not endure rain water the same as the scooters I would rent. Mother Nature and my scooter quickly educated me one terribly rainy day less than a month after removing the scooter from box. I contacted Voromotors. The were very responsive and offered technical advice and troubleshooting over the phone. They will up charge you on service and repairs and the new service repair system takes way too long to get a service. The scooters themselves break down all the time not worth the expensive initial cost at all, but when it works they are good I will give them that. I purchased a roadrunner v2 and I've complained multiple times of several issues with their product since day one. Which one I've got launched and flew off the scooter because I couldn't brake properly. I've called/emailed/online chatted almost every single day and even asked for a refund but kept getting denied. On 8/4 I placed the order for a $2,753 scooter. The following day 8/5 I requested for it to be canceled. On 8/5 it still showed in Voro Motors system that it was still processing. I called and spoke to their rep the same day and he was not sure what the status was. I emailed Voro Motors twice on 8/5 to cancel because the rep wasn't so sure about the status of my order. Jim Brian from Voro Motors replied to my email and acknowledged on the same day that my order still showed unfulfilled and that he will pass my cancellation request to their shipping department. On 8/6, I have notified Jim that I received a message from FedEx that they have the scooter and was ready to ship. Jim have emailed me on 8/6 that it still showed my order was unfulfilled and he still had no idea why the scooter was sent for FedEx to be shipped. Jim have told me for the next several days that he was going to investigate what happened with their shipping department. Nothing was done. On 8/7, 8/8, 8/9 I have emailed Jim that the package was still on track to be delivered by FedEx and begged them to call FedEx to stop the delivery. Jim did not call FedEx, and still continued to tell me that he was still waiting for their shipping department to process the cancellation. On 8/9 FedEx left the box on our street without asking for my signature even though on the delivery instructions it showed "signature required". I have told Jim in several occasions that since they did not cancel my order that I will refused the delivery. He personally called me on 8/9 and apologized for these mistakes, again he promised that he will sort this out with their shipping department. Now Voro Motors wants to charge me 20% for restocking fee. This was their fault. Why should I pay?Jim lied. This isn't right. I still have not received any return label. DO NOT BUY. This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. From the beginning, it seemed that the folding mechanism was faulty as I was never able to fold the scooter. Then about two months ago, a piece of the folding mechanism fell out, and when I tried to screw it back in, I found that the pieces were misaligned which made screwing in the pieces impossible, even with another set of hands. I took it to a local repair shop, and they told me that compared to the other EMOVE cruiser in the shop, mine was defective. I figured since I bought the extended warranty, I would be safe, but I was denied coverage under the extended warranty, and was told by the company I would need to pay nearly $300 to ship the scooter back for repairs. I asked for assurances that if I did that, the issue would be resolved at no cost, and after dodging my questions a few times, they told me they would cover the shipping but the repair would not be covered under warranty, even though it appeared to be a manufacturing defect. They did not provide an estimate for the repair. I decided then to try and fix it myself by buying a new folding mechanism, but the company sent me one that was too small and told me that the one that came with my original scooter was outdated. I then had to buy spacers to make the new part fit, and the company sent me ones that were the wrong size and did not send me enough. They even have a YouTube video explaining how to replace this part, so there is no reason not to send the right item. I notified them of this and they told me they could only "find" three of the correctly sized spacer and I could buy another one at a hardware store. If this is a part required to make the scooter safe, how are the parts not readily available? I tried installing with the new spacers and the folding mechanism is still stuck, so something else must be misaligned. It has been two months at this point, and the scooter is my only form of transportation. I'm so frustrated at this point I don't know if I should just cut my losses and buy from another company or pay exorbitant fees in the hope that the company fixes the issue that they should have jumped to fix for free months ago.
