That makes it a one way conversation. So I called yesterday and spoke to a nice lady who said she can see that the order never actually shipped to me, but that she would take care of getting it shipped as it is already payed for $800! Then today I got an email stating that my order shipped in March. So I called again to make sure that it was resent yesterday. IT WAS NOT!! Instead I am told by the nice lady on the phone that she will REORDER it for me now and ship it. So I get an email with a new order and new order number that looks just like a bill to my account all over again for $800. I still have her on the phone so I tell her that I would need some email confirmation that this is a reorder and that I am not being charged again for curtains I never received. Well she talks to her "leadership" and comes back with "im sorry but I cannot do that". WHAT? So if i still dont' have my curtains and reference the number of the order that was paid for in Feb, is that going to be understood to be the order from today that should be marked already paid in full? Because what they sent me doesn't say paid, it actually has my credit card number and the amount!!! Maybe it will come alright and I will get curtains, but at this point I am not trusting. Why does the customer not get the same information clearly that the seller gets? Why couldn't they send me confirmation that this account is paid for? I am angry and will NEVER order from Pottery Barn again. Shame because I liked what I saw. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

    On September 4th my husband and I walked into the store knowing exactly what we wanted. We had…read morelooked online and went in to go order it. The salesman was friendly and personable. He told us the furniture would not be in until the end of October. I understand the current shipping issues so we were only kicking our own butts for not ordering sooner, but oh well, plenty of time before Thanksgiving. By the last week in October I hadn't heard anything from the store. I called on October 25th to check on it and the man that I spoke with looked it up and said they were still waiting on two pieces of the sectional and they would be there in a couple weeks. I was extremely frustrated but ok. I waited two more weeks and called again on November 8th. The woman that answered the phone told me she would get to a computer and check on it, then put me on hold. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then finally a different person got back on the line asking how they could help. This woman actually looked on the computer and said they were still waiting on one piece. I asked when it would arrive and she said she had no idea. I asked if there was any kind of tracking on it and she actually laughed and said "I wish". Ok. They finally called me on November 18th and the man started the conversation by saying "Good news!" I said "My furniture is here? Hallelujah." Then he said "Yes, much earlier than we expected". Umm, what?!?! I interrupted him and "When we ordered you said it was going to be here by the end of October!". He brushed all that aside and told me it would be here the first week of December. I told him I was going to need him to bring everything that had and deliver now (because we have our whole family coming for Thanksgiving) and they could make a second trip in December to bring the other piece. He then proceeds to tell me that they don't have any of the pieces yet. I told him that was untrue because I have called multiple times checking on it and was told by two different people that you were waiting on two, then one piece. He said "oh, you have?" then proceeds to tell me the different states that all my the different pieces were in. I guess they magically have tracking now. At this point I don't even know who all lied to me. The initial sales guy saying the furniture would be here by the end of October (I would have blamed the delay on shipping troubles, but when he said it was arriving much earlier than they thought I knew he was just trying to make the sale). The people on the phone telling me we were waiting on pieces. The guy that refused to set up delivery for the pieces that they may or may not already have. I will never shop here again and I will make sure all my friends and family know about our poor experience. The lack of communication is ridiculous.
