Bought a sofa and chair from there and paid for the warranty, you are supposed to get it back if it's not been used. Yet when we called to get our refund back they wouldn't honor it because we didn't register or something stupid within x amount of time etc. sofa broke down 2 months after warranty was up. We returned several months later to "window shop" and as soon as we walked in we were hounded by the sales guy and when I asked him to stop following me, he replied he wasn't allowed to, due to the new customer service training rules! Purchased couches about 5 years ago with an option to pay an extra fee for an unlimited warranty on them. The deal was if the warranty wasn't used within the 5 years you were paying off the couch, you would get that money back. Surprise, they don't send a check in the mail when the 5 years is up, you have to claim your money within 30 days or they keep it. 5 years I have been paying off these couches and I get 30 days to claim MY OWN money back. (The money was no small fee) Will not be purchasing from this place again. Hopefully they make this right, but this is very disheartening. How is this a thing? read more

Terrible. Charges $100 for delivery but expects you to be available all day, for whatever time best accommodates them. Like most other people, I have an 8-5 job. They clearly do not understand the concept of providing a service to a paying customer. Also didn't receive my pillows with my delivery which resulted in me having to go out of my way twice to track them down. Do business elsewhere, it's not worth the hassle. read more

Buyer beware: I have been dealing with the Synchrony credit card company (one of the financing options available through Ashley Homestore) for three months, on a $656.22 purchase their "card security" made with my credit card (mind you, I NEVER signed up for credit card security). Each time I talk to a new representative, it takes upwards of 45 minutes of convincing to look into my case further, to identify the transaction that seemingly "disappears" when it's convenient. Then, after multiple call transfers, someone finally "finds" the purchase I'm referring to. Fraudulent behavior, fraudulent purchase. Since 2019, they have charged me interest on this fraudulent purchase. I have two promotions on my account, both with 5yrs no interest. When I call Synchrony bank, they tell me to call Card Security. Card Security then says I should take up my complaint with Ashley Homestore. Ashley Homestore tells me they can't help, that I'll need to call Synchrony credit. Round and round we go. Months on end I've been dealing with this matter. Each sales representative I've experienced IN STORE has been kind and accommodating. My furniture pieces are holding up well and I'm ultimately happy with my purchase. I am however beyond reconciliation with this company. Poor business, poor customer service on the in store financing end, as well as every representative I've spoken with through their "card security" program, and Synchrony bank. I've refrained from leaving a negative review, but after speaking with a Synchrony bank rep that on more than one occasion interrupted me, and told me "Incorrect, ma'am. Everything has been resolved", I'm just over it. I have a small portion back of what's owed. I guess that's better than nothing. Really not trying to come off as a Karen. I get it, businesses that don't regularly speak to each other can lose a lot in translation. But jeesh. Really disappointed. I definitely wont be making any further purchases here. And strongly advise against financing through Synchrony. read more

We had purchased 4 items last year at the Black Friday event as well as the 5 year protection plan. Since then, our couch has had multiple issues including the cup holders, touch screen, a spring poking out of the back, a broken frame and a 3 inch gap between top cushions due to pieces made incorrectly. Overall we are just fed up with the couch and when my husband and I got in contact with a manager at the East Wichita location I cannot believe how rude she was to us as well as belittling. I simply asked if we could get store credit for the amount we purchased this couch to get a different couch and she laughed at me over the phone I do understand the 7 day exchange policy which is honestly ridiculous if you think about it. When she spoke to my husband she ended up yelling at him. We both have never been treated so poorly by somebody in management. We also mentioned about the acetone stain on our table and nobody has done anything about it. This whole process has been an absolute nightmare. We spent so much money at this store and i feel like it was a complete waste. Nobody should ever have to feel that way or be talked to the way that we have. I bought a $3,000 couch. Got caught in a zero interest for 1 year scam. Interest due in full at one year and one day on a $300 balance, $557.00 charged. DON'T FALL FOR IT. They eventually did right by this, we paid it off with no penalty, but it took a few phone calls and too many harsh words. We visited here recently looking for living room furniture and their selection was great when compared to other stores in the area. The showroom was clean and well lit. I wish it were organized differently. I don't like having to walk the entire building to see just sofas or just end tables. Our sales person Erin/Aaron (not sure how to spell her name) was fantastic! I wish the other employees didn't approach us multiple times after we'd already told them we had someone helping us. Overall a good experience. read more

My husband and I purchased a new home and furnished our entire home with over $10,000.00 in furniture. Purchased a warranty on our furniture & bedding because we were told it would cover anything that happened to our stuff we were purchasing. Over and over and over again we were told to purchase the warranty and for what? NOTHING THATS WHAT!! Our home recently was destroyed by a garage fire, which caused smoke damage to our less than a year old furniture. Contacted the store and was told there was nothing they could do for us. This place wouldn't even take the time to answer our questions and instead simply handed us a paper with the warranty info on it and told us to read the fine print on what is covered and said "have a nice day!" Really?? Have a nice day?? My home was destroyed, my family and I were living in a hotel room, all of my belongings are gone and you want me to have a nice day?? How about you offer some kind of help seeing how I did purchase your amazing warranty! We are still paying on our furniture all while it's being decided by the cleaning company whether to toss it or put it back in our home after we rebuild and there's nothing they can do to help us? I'm gonna make sure that everybody I know NEVER shops with Ashley. Those people have no idea of how customer service works, nor do they have compassion for their customers who obviously don't mind spending top dollar on furniture. $10,000.00 down the fucking drain & they could give two shits! My family's lives have been put in a snow globe, turned upside down and repeatedly shaken. All of our hard earned money was put into this furniture that we put in our home that was destroyed in an instance. My husband serves in the U.S. Air Force and this is the thanks he gets for his service. This company could care less as long as you get sucked into buying their so called warranty and hand them the money. Worst experience shopping. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by a salesperson. That was fine, but when I told her that I just wanted to look. She proceeded to walk with me and probe me about when I needed the furniture, how much the total price would be, if I wanted it delivered and so on. At one point I told her to leave me alone and she still wouldn't stop. I left the store feeling harassed and extremely angry. read more
