We have purchased furniture from here for as long as I can remember. We have generally pleased, but our last experience buying 2 leather couches has been awful. We purchase the couches, have them delivered, buy the warranty, the whole bit. 2 couches ended up being just under 6k. We immediately start having issues with one of the couches. The power recline seems to be"bind" when reclined, and the headrest works intermittently. No problem, I got the warranty right? WRONG! The warranty only covers the material, not the mechanical. It was however covered under the manufacturer warranty.......they didn't want to come out to figure out exactly what was wrong, and said "it's either the motor or the switch". Being mechanically inclined, I knew better......but they weren't hearing it. They insisted on ordering both a switch and motor, and assured me that was going to fix the problem.......now hold onto your seat......they ship the parts from overseas (Vietnam, I assume) and the only way to get them is on a shipping container that takes 3 MONTHS!!!!! I wait patiently, parts arrive, and they have me take a day off work for a guy to come fix it. They call me the day before to confirm the appointment. I wait around all day for the dude to show up, and he finally calls an hour after the latest time he was to arrive and says "I can't make it today. I don't know how to install these parts, and I want to go back to the store, learn how, and come back tomorrow"........what a joke. Dude finally comes out and installs parts, and guess what......doesn't fix the couch. So order a new mechanism that will take ANOTHER 3 MONTHS!!!! Time has come and gone again, over 2 weeks past the projected date of arrival......and still no parts. In the last 2 years I have spent over 10k in furniture here, and that may not be much to them, but it won't be happening again. STAY FAR AWAY, or pray you don't have issues! read more

We went in to look for a mattress. Joe was very helpful, but not pushy in finding what we wanted. Ordered a split king to accommodate my husband and I's separate needs. He didn't smother us during our visit. Was there for info then left us alone to decide for ourselves. We also looked for a sectional. However, we did not purchase one at this time. The sales lady for this was over selling and followed us everywhere. Was very informative, but never left us alone to talk amongst ourselves to decide. We did find one we liked but not the price so we decided to hold off. read more

Let's be clear, the delivery crew is awesome. They delivered furniture to my house last week and they were wonderful. I'd like them appreciate them. However. The order that was shipped to my work was incorrect. I came in on my day off to receive it only to find out that they didn't have the right stuff. I asked for my money back and now evidently I have to come into the shop to get it. Put back on my card. Which is ridiculous since furniture row screwed it all up. I wish I could say this is the first time I've had trouble with furniture row unfortunately, it's not my bad for going back a second time. Also, last week when they delivered to my home, they had the wrong address so I'm not sure what's up, but somebody is not doing their job and I have to do extra work to make up for it read more

We bought a dining set because we thought it was on "sale" turns out that Sierra Wheeler lied about what was included in the set and when we went to pick it up we were informed that no we did not buy all the pieces that we thought we bought. The piece that we bought the set for was not included even though we asked her if it was! We made it very clear that we wanted that table because on the bench that we thought was included in the so called sale. My husband and I entered this store in search of an automated recliner. My husband was injured and lost the use of his right hand. We were greeted by a young lady who pointed out the recliners and explained the layout of the store. We searched the store and found a recliner we liked. We waved the young lady over and asked if the recliner was in stock. She came back, said the recliner was not in stock, and walked away. We could not get her attention again. We could not get anyone to help us. The store layout is nice and they have nice looking furniture. But beware they don't have items in stock and do not want to talk about selling floor models. read more

One of the sales ladies was training and everyone did a great job helping her through the purchase process. The Labor Day sales were fantastic as well. We got a kitchen set and a bedroom set. We went looking for furniture and instead we found attitude. We had been moving all day and on a whim decided to do some furniture shopping. Perhaps since we had been out in the heat all day or because we were looking in the clearance section we didn't fit the profile of the clientele they were looking for, I don't know. We found a chair that we liked in the clearance section and I asked the sales lady for a price since it wasn't marked. She took 12 minutes to get back with me on ONE price check. I was ready to walk out but my family was looking all over and I couldn't get them rounded up. My wife found a chair that she liked and we purchased it. The salesman wasn't happy that I couldn't take it at that time but relented and allowed me to get it when they opened the next day. Like I said just happened to be out so we didn't have a truck. I don't know if it was because we didn't look like the kind of people that they wanted in their store or because we were looking at clearance items but the service was awful. There were four people sitting in the little island and none came to help us. I had to get someone's attention just to buy a chair. The old saying is that you should never judge a book by its cover and Furniture Row should not have done that with us. We left and went to FFO and bought a living room set, a bedroom set, and some random chairs for other parts of the house. We spent $225 at Furniture Row and $8250 at FFO. Maybe they don't care about sales at FR but FFO was more then eager to accept our money. I don't drop money like that very often but when I do I am not going to beg someone to take it. Maybe FR will have better service are trying to move product when at their Going Out Of Business Sale. read more

I went into the Living Room area (formerly Sofa Mart) in the middle of December. The guy greeted me. I told him I was looking for a couch, and had a budget of $800. He wouldn't even show me anything. I guess he only wants to help customers with thousands of dollars to spend. He pointed in the general area of the "clearance" area, then walked off. I looked around for a few minutes, then went to Furniture on Consignment where I ended up buying a couch, love seat and 3 tables from the super-sweet and helpful Jennifer. I will never come back here! If they can't treat all of their customers with dignity and kindness, they won't ever get a single dollar from me! read more

Came back to purchase it to find out the salesman told me the wrong price and the store manager Nolan wouldn't honor it. He was extremely rude and spoke down to me. Ok after choosing a mattress we needed a bed. Worked with Will et Alex. Spend several days browsing. Once again like their mattress shop, no pressure, very friendly. Once we decided on the bed. They helped quickly get paperwork et delivery set up on our schedule. As in the mattress store once I got the bed home I realized it wasn't the right bed. A quick phone, a quick visit et all has been corrected to make me happy. Highly recommend all of these stores. read more

I wouldn't purchase anything else from Furniture Row right now because it is taking forever to receive our bed frame. We ordered a bed frame February 6th and they said it wouldn't arrive until late April. I really wanted the frame and I understand distribution is slow because of COVID, so I was willing to wait. We hadn't heard anything in late April so we called and the guys said it wasn't arriving until early May. We said that isn't what we were told (and it states right on our receipt), but the gentleman matter-of-factly insisted that it says early May in the computer, so it's early May. We wait longer and hear nothing, so we called today (May 10) and now they say one piece of the frame is on the way to them, but the other two pieces won't arrive until late May. It was a stretch for me to wait until late April, had I known that I'd have to wait until late May, I definitely would have chosen differently. I'm mostly annoyed that we've had to be the ones to keep calling them to get updates about where our bedframe is and they offer little apologies or platitudes. You'd think they'd be apologetic or offer compensation of some sort for the extremely long wait. Poor customer service. read more

I bought an item there and so did my mom. My mom bought a table so while we were doing the check out we mentioned several times to have it delivered. Tristian, the salesman, said to expect it in 3 weeks. When my mom never heard she called the store and was told it has been sitting there but would not be delivered until my mom paid the delivery fee. This should have been added at the time of purchase but instead Tristian was to busy being cute. When I called the store to talk to someone about it, William never would transfer me to someone in charge and just kept arguing with me that a fee for delivery has to be collected. This is real poor customer service when my mom clearly stated and asked if it was going to be delivered and the fact no one at the store even called my mom to let her know it was there. My mom lives 10 minutes away. I will never buy anything from that store again. read more

I purchased a small bistro set for my breakfast nook. While in the store the girl in the dinning room area was very friendly. The power was off in the store, but she did a paper invoice and took cash because they had no power in the store. The set came in and I told them I wanted to have it assembled. When I called back the same girl that sold me the set said they only assembled the bar stools which amounts to screwing on the legs. She they don't assemble the table. I told her when I requested assembly I thought it would be fully assembled. The person on the phone was hostile and kept talking over me. She said if you want to cancel your order you can do that. Oh, and their phone is constantly busy. I had to call them eight times before I was able to get through. I didn't spend much with them, perhaps that's why she was so quick to tell me to cancel the order. I will never do business with them again. There are too many furniture stores around to deal with crappy customer service. Oh, I will go to their going out of business sale. read more

Don't waste your money on SofaMart furniture. We paid $400 for a beautiful leather chair there on August 30, and by the first week of October, it was falling apart. When I called the store to ask for an exchange or refund, they told me that A) They don't give exchanges or refunds on items bought "off the floor", i.e., clearance items, and B) They carry low end items in order to be competitive pricewise. The salesman actually said those words. I asked, "So you're not surprised that this chair is falling apart in less than two weeks?" And he said "No, I'm not." I mentioned that he must be very proud of what he does for a living, and he hung up on me. My advice: stay far, far away. read more
