Took my clippers in for service a few weeks back and when I dropped them off I filled out an…read moreextensive sheet that gave them multiple ways to contact me regarding my clippers. A week and half passes and I haven't heard anything from them, so I call and check and the guy seems helpful but really has no clue about the clippers. So, he tells me to call back the next day between 10 am and 2 pm. I tel him I will try but I also tell him I'm not sure if I will be able to SINCE I ALSO HAVE A JOB. Sure enough, I'm unable to get away from the training I'm in to make a phone call during that time. So a couple days later I call again to politely check-in about my clippers since conversely, no one has called me either. Or emailed. The same guy answers the phone and when I politely indicate that I was calling to check on my clippers - he jumps down my throat demanding to know if called between 10 am and 2 pm. As a side note - no where on the form I filled out did it indicate that was the only timeframe I would be able to get follow up information about my clippers. I'm so shocked by this dudes reaction to my question that I just hang up the phone. My husband sitting next to me, hears the entire thing and calls them back asking where they learned their customer service skills. He then asks for the manager, he is told they aren't in and then the guy starts yelling at my husband "WHAT YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO GET ME FIRED?!" Over and over again. My husband said, "no? But I would like to talk to him about your customer service skills." The guy on the phone is belligerently yelling at my husband, refusing to give his name, so my husband hangs up. The next morning, it's like a Christmas miracle - the shop owner found my phone number and called me (before 10 am - much to my shock, I'd not receive any contact from them that I didn't initiate even though they had the form I filled out) but, I wasn't able to answer (because as stated, I work during that timeframe) and he told me what was "probably" wrong with my clipper but not to worry as he wouldn't be servicing them due to the phone call. I would give zero stars if I could and I would take my clippers elsewhere, but Weiss seems to be the only place in town and you'd better not call and check on your clippers outside of 10 and 2.

Marc was very accommodating and informed me the shotgun was a customer trade-in and was in near new condition. The price was very reasonable - quite a bit cheaper than buying a brand new one, so I bought it. When the gun arrived at my FFL I was amazed. I truly looked new. I emailed Marc to let him know I received it and was impressed with its condition. He promptly emailed me back and said there had been a minor mixup in which the used gun I purchased was accidentally sold twice, so he sent me a brand new gun of the same make and model. This is beyond excellent customer service! He could've contacted me and said the gun was sold and refunded my money but instead sent me a new shotgun at the used gun price. Amazing!

Upon learning this information while having the gun professionally fit it was discovered. We contacted Michael Murphy and Sons and were informed to "get the cast bent, they do it everyday." This response from Marc Murphy was extremely disappointing as we've been searching for this specific type of gun for almost a year. Now we are left we a firearm that either needs a new stock (and possibly fore-end to match) or attempt to sell it to a left-handed female trap shooting gun. Hopefully this review will prevent someone else from being taken advantage of by this company!
