I considered myself as one of the lucky ones since we did get the funding during these horrible times. When I went to pay, the cashier informed me that they were not accepting SNAP during the government shutdown. I feel like this is just another way to punish the less fortunate people during an already rough time. I do not intend to shop at Aldi again, and therefore may not get the best prices, but I will not put what little bit of grocery money we get there. It was an absolutely embarrassing and depressing situation. Thanks for loosing a lifetime customer.
