She clearly is on DRUGS or has MENTAL ILLNESS because no normal person acts like this. She led us on for 5 months and when I finally reached out asking questions, she went CRAZY. I've attached my complaint with Better Business Bureau and WA Dept. because I don't know what else to do to shut this woman down. Please file an online complaint with Washington Department of Justice- consumer protection division and help bring down Brenda! https://fortress.wa.gov/atg/formhandler/ago/ComplaintForm.aspx Update: I was paid back my $500 deposit after taking various measures. I was one of the fortunate ones, however there are still tons of people they have not been paid back.

Unfortunately, I was one of the many others who fell for Brenda's scheme to rake in as many…read moredeposits as possible without actually fulfilling on her side of the agreement - a puppy. I WISH I SAW THE YELP REVIEWS! I reached out in March 2021 after speaking to many other breeders. Brenda seemed legit with a contract and clear process and initial quick communication about a litter that had just been born....However, things QUICKLY changed after I put down a $500 deposit and signed the contract for a puppy that would be ready in May 2021 ("first on the waitlist"). However as May approached, she was radio silent for weeks (email, phone, text, FB) and encouraged me to instead look for updates on her FB page. She said that sadly there weren't enough females in May but a new litter would be ready to visit in June and that I should come for a puppy meet and greet in mid-June. So I booked a flight to Seattle, confirmed my flight details with her. And then asked for more specifics leading up to it....3 weeks, 2 weeks, and days out......crickets. No response until the day before when she had to cancel the visit entirely for "cold weather." uhm 55 degrees outside in June in WA. Surprise, surprise at that point there weren't any "more puppies." But 5 litters would be born in July. At this point hearing about FIVE litters sounded more like a puppy mill than I was comfortable with. I understand there being a long list for puppies because you are breeding less frequently, and concerned for the health of your dogs. But at this point DO NOT TAKE DEPOSITS on puppies you do not have OR can't possibly have in the next 2-3 years. I'm guessing Brenda received dozens of non-refundable deposits that she can't fulfill for YEARS to come. In July, I found a local breeder and welcomed an adorable new Boston to my family. She did not require a deposit.... perfect health and perfect puppy. BE CAREFUL!

I had no intention of purchasing from her due to location, Meadow Run is in Washington, I live in Minnesota. I spoke with her over the phone and I could hear how passionate she is about all her dogs and puppies. I actually found it really affordable to take Alaska Air out and Delta back the same day to pick up my pup. Lisa has been a great mentor and is always available for questions. We really feel like a big family as she maintains a Meadow Run Family Facebook group so we can all chat with each other, ask questions, bounce ideas off of each other based on our experiences, and cheer each other on. I own Vinnie, who has shown in conformation and competed in Rally and will start In agility. Lisa is there for it all and keeps up with her puppies activities. This is all in addition to how she starts her puppies ENS, desensitizing activities, a lot of human activities (she shares a lot of live videos of puppy activities, play, cleaning, grooming etc!) You can't go wrong with joining the "Meadow Run Family", the support system is the best! I will definitely get another pup from Lisa in the next few years.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We got a wonderful charcoal lab from Circle B in 2016…read morewhen they were a smaller breeder. We decided to get another lab puppy from them in 2020. We put money down on a litter to pick a female puppy that was born in January 2021. We had first pick of our female puppy out of the two females from the litter. We went to pick her up when she was ready to big enough to leave, the other female puppy had already been picked up. A couple of months later, we discovered by looking at pictures, they had given us the wrong puppy, the puppy we did not pick and did not want because she was too hyper. How does that happen when there are only two females in the litter. We did not say anything for a while, because we knew that we had to keep this puppy now, because the other one was gone. When I finally sent a letter to Cassandra, the owner letting her know how upset we were, I never heard a word, nothing acknowledging the mistake or an apology even. We just took our dog, who was now 4 in January to the vet, and she has to see a specialist because the vet thinks she has retinol neuropathy. When you pay a breeder that much for the dog, they should make sure you get the dog you picked and do sufficient testing to rule out potentially serious genetic defects. I will never buy another dog from Circle B and I certainly will never recommend them to anyone I know. Horrible!

My wife and I had a solid, long discussion not only about the contract aspects, but this breed in general, things to expect, etc. Was a blessing to hear that when Sherman was born the family at Circle B looked at him and exclaimed "Charger", because he looks so much like his grandpa dog. We have felt completed supported and well communicate with throughout the entire process.
