Laminating my brows has been a GAME CHANGER! Unfortunately I was not blessed with great brows and my hairs are thin/light. I saw her work on Instagram (@vonpriskbrows) and wanted to try it immediately! I messaged her and booked for a laminate appointment. I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make because I don't have a lot of hairs to treat. Let the photo speak for itself, it's a huge difference for me. I don't have to put makeup on my brows for like a week after the lamination, and then it starts to fade so I fill them in for work. Well I hate to do this but I can't get even a response back from the owner. I had a great first experience with Abby. She cleaned up my full brows but didn't over pluck. As the perm grew out, I noticed it was kinked so I thought... maybe I'll try the owner and see if the grow out was a little better. I had the best conversation with Jess and I enjoyed my time, but I did notice she was plucking A LOT but trusted her and thought... maybe I wasn't as up on my brows as I thought I was. SHE MADE THEM PENCIL THI!!! I didn't immediately notice because my brows were so brushed up but once I washed them and they were combed down... they were like middle school eyebrows. I cried! I thought, its ok its ok.... they will grow out and it will be fine. Its been 2 months now, I sent pictures to Jess and reached out to multiple times stating how unhappy I was with my brows and that I would like my deposit back. NO RESPONSE. I feel that it is so unprofessional. I've never just had someone not respond, especially when the client had a bad experience. I myself have been in the medical aesthetics beauty industry for over 10 years and I would never treat a patient like this. REGARDLESS of a "refund policy". I've been very kind and of course respectful when texting, even sending pictures so she can see the gaps in my brows and how they are growing back in. I think it will be another 2-3 months before my brows are back to the fullness they were. I am leaving a bad review now because I would say.... DON'T set your next appt until you've washed your brows. Make sure half of them aren't gone before you prebook your appt. SHE WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK NOR WILL SHE RESPOND TO YOU. I am disappointed all around, and I do feel clients should be treated better. Poor way to handle business. read more
