Just enough to make your eyes pop. - called/text - got an appointment right away (she has a flex schedule) - 45 minutes - lovely lashes (classic D-curls) I don't think people understand how it is to find a good eyelash artist for affordable pricing. Update 7/10/17: Okay, so the lashes lasted about 12 days (about the same time as the other places I've gone to before). But, I still believe the quality and value of the lashes were top notch. On the 12th day, I was in the middle of a really intense (and sweaty) spin class and wiped my face with a towel (roughly, I may add. There's nothing dainty about me lol), when I felt a poke. At the end of class, I looked in the mirror and noticed a small clump of lashes were missing toward the center of my right eye. Okay, it was all over at that point. I'm a picker, so that evening, I had to pick the rest of them off... on both eyes. Yes, I am that person! It's so bad, but I can't help it! Most places won't do lash fills on lashes they didn't put on, so I had no choice but to start over. Womp womp. I'd sill go back to Casey in a heartbeat! -- I was in San Diego Fri 6/2 through Tues 6/6. Though I was in town for the Rock N Roll Half Marathon, I decided that I wanted to get some eyelash extensions​. So I immediately open Yelp and search for lash places and Casey popped up. There weren't a ton of reviews for Casey, but each one said great things! All the other places were closer to my hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter, but cost about 1.5 to 2 times as much. My Uber driver was somewhat newish to San Diego (2 years?), so as we drove up the hills and around a residential area, he was certain I had the wrong address. I found Casey's Lashes and walked in. I was a little apprehensive upon walking in. The studio was quite large, but it was dim. My immediate thought was: I was set up and was about to be the latest victim of some crime. How could Yelpers do me like this?? THANK GOODNESS I WAS WRONG, lol. After I saw Casey, she had a very sweet and gentle nature, so I calmed the eff down. I set my bags down and immediately began telling Casey what look I was going for. I normally get silk C curls in length 13 and they look very full. But I told Casey I wanted volume. She gave me D curls in 12. She was done in about 45 minutes. I was ecstatic with the results! My natural lashes are short and straight. Whenever I get eyelash extensions, they last between 10-12 days. I haven't found a "go-to" place to get routine fills, so for now, I just get them done sporadically. But it's been a week since I've had these lashes and I've only lost a few! MIND YOU, I did a half marathon 36 hours after getting these lashes!!! They are still very full and voluminous. So happy with Casey!! The last time I got my lashes done after having a four month Break I paid her for a full set of hybrid lashes and legit almost all fell out within not even 24 hours.
