Dan is a gifted mechanic, and he also gains customer loyalty by doing excellent work and by not overcharging or doing unnecessary repairs. I've never had any issues working with him; he has always handled my repairs in a timely manner, and been very professional with scheduling, explaining the problems he found, and confirming with me before proceeding with the repair work. I'd recommend Dan without reservation to anyone with a Honda or Acura. I even consider sticking to Honda cars, just so I can stick with this mechanic!

I just downloaded yelp and made an account just to write about this so called "automotive shop"…read more Acuhon automotive repair was extremely unprofessional and very shady. Yesterday I found a local classified ad for a few items that this shop had listed. We set up a price and time and we agreed on the pick up the following day. This morning we got the green light for the pick up and we made our 2 hour drive down to the shop. When we arrived, frank began giving us excuses and told us he sold the items that we needed the night before. All in all, this "man" sold the items that we desperately needed right out from under us. Would you trust a shady guy to work on your cars who is in the game for nothing but money ? I wouldn't. Take your car to reputable shop, not this curbside skum

I'll see how everything works out but for now I'm happy with Nazz and Baz Auto, they do good work…read morewith fair prices and great service. Nazz may not speak the best English but he seems to be very honest and trustworthy and has earned my business. If your pricing out a repair or need a good mechanic I would recommend Baz Auto. I've been here 3 times for the following: My transmission went out on me last month and Nazz (owner) gave me the best option I could find at the time. I decided to go with his shop because he had an affordable price and warranty for a used low mile (approx. 56,000) transmission replacement. I was going to go with rebuilt but it would of cost an extra $1500, time will tell if I made the right decision but at this point I'm happy with his service. My car broke down on a Sunday and he had me back on the road on Thursday. I appreciate his quick friendly service, he gave me plenty of options and wasn't pushy at all. A few months back I took my car to Stress Free Auto down the street on University for a problem with my purge valve but then my engine light came on last week and I brought it to Baz Auto to diagnose the problem and the purge valve I had replaced months ago failed and rather than go back to the other shop I had it fixed here since he also noticed my AC kicking on extensively, he flushed recharged the AC system and that seemed to take care of that. Today I tried to go to Midas to get my oil change and the guy at the counter wouldn't even acknowledge my presence and once he did he kept asking if I had an appointment. I tried Midas because it was close to home but they wouldn't be done with my car until the late afternoon if I stayed. I went to Baz Auto around 8:20am and they had me in and out in less than 40 min for my oil change. Thank you!

It seemed like every vehicle I owned had a different issue, and they got every one of them back on the road. What really sets them apart is their honesty and transparency. The first time I brought a vehicle in, they didn't just hand me a bill. They showed me every part they replaced, explained exactly what had failed, why it needed to be replaced, and answered all of my questions. I'm naturally skeptical when it comes to auto repairs, but after seeing everything firsthand, I knew I could trust them. Their prices are fair, their work is solid, and they're friendly and easy to work with. At this point, I feel like I've gained not only a dependable mechanic but also a friend. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely cares about taking care of their customers, Horizon Automotive is the place to go. William looked diagnosed the transmission and knew it needed to be replaced (not uncommon for her type of car). Instead of just automatically telling us we need to rebuild or do a new replacement, he gave us different options that would financially make sense but also take care of the issue. While working on the car, William found other issues and sent pictures and videos of the issue. His communication was superb. As timing would have it, our other vehicle got a coolant leak. We took that car to William and he handled it quickly and gave us a great and fair price. We appreciate all your work and communication. I highly recommend Horizon Automotive (William)
