Highly recommend the EV Guys! I requested a quote via Yelp on a Sunday, expecting a response the next day knowing they were closed on Sundays. Cesar got back to me within an hour with a competitive bid. After finalizing some details on Monday, Cesar and his team were at my house at 7am Tuesday morning sharp. Despite having to run the wiring from my garage in front under the house to my panel in back, they completed the hardwire install of my ChargePoint Homeflex (provided at a discounted price) in just 2 hours! The EV Guys were organized, efficient and professional throughout the process, including follow-up questions, a firmware update and the city permit process. Will not hesitate to use them for my electrician needs in the future. read more

Found out last minute my Tesla was being delivered, so I contacted Cesar through Yelp. He responded right away and was able to give me an estimate the same week and install the charger that weekend. He was on time, professional, and quick - running wire and installing everything in a few hours. I also liked that he uses paperless estimates and payment. I wanted to use the charger for a bit before writing this review. It's been three weeks now and the charger works great. Definitely would recommend. Thanks, Cesar! read more

Caesar was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and communicative. Will be using EV Guys for all electrician needs in the future! Installed a Tesla Wall Connector with no complications. read more

A guy named Oscar placed a new panel at my house, and did an awful job. I mean his work was a mess. I called Cesar and explained to him what Oscar did. In about half an hour, Cesar came to my house, and checked Oscar's work. He explained to me what he can do to make it look cleaner and safer. I set up an appointment with him, and in a couple of days, he came back with his partner (David) and fixed my panel grounding, labeled my electrical panel correctly, changed my EV charger with a better brand, and explained to me the overview of electrical panel. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an upgrade on their electrical panel and/or for any electrical work. Thank you, Cesar and David! read more

Passed inspection and got the permits! They were great, helpful, did an amazing job. Super happy with their work, would recommend.

I needed a licensed contractor because I wanted to apply for the LADWP EV rebate. Long story short: Cesar and his team nailed it! They pulled the permit, installed the charger, scheduled the inspection and got it approved. All for less than any other contractor I quoted. I received my $1K rebate check from LADWP today and couldn't be happier! Thanks guys! read more

They did a good job running a conduit from a subpanel to the location of the wall charger outside the garage. They increased the cost a bit above their initial estimate but I thought it was reasonable. read more

Ghosted me for some reason even though we set an appointment. Maybe Cesar is too busy now.

Cesar and his team did a great job. He was fast to respond and even came out the same day to provide an estimate. During the estimation he even offered some advice on better placement of my charger and making sure it'd reach and work great for my charging needs. He showed up on time for the install and everything went smoothly. My installation required some changes to our electrical panel which Cesar handled with no issues at all and left everything very neatly labeled. I'd highly recommend The EV Guys to anyone who needs an EV charger installed! read more

I hired the EV Guys based on the Yelp reviews and everything went smooth. Cesar responded promptly and asked me how I wanted to install charging system for my Tesla Model Y. Then, Cesar quoted me an estimate and came to my house next day to verify his estimate. Then, Cesar and his co-worker came to my house on the next available date, installed the charging system, cleaned up and the job way done. I liked how he was professional and installed the electrical lines capable of running 60A when I only needed 40A for now. His reasoning was that if I want to upgrade to a higher capacity charging station in the future, it will save me money because I can just use the current lines. I recommend The EV Guys for your electrical needs. read more

These guys are phenomenal! At a time where so many businesses don't even pick up the phone or return your call, Cesar answered the phone. He was very polite and courteous. He asked me to send a couple picture of my electrical panel and if possible, a video of the house. He texted back, thank you for sharing the pictures and video and gave me a price. He was lower by $300 than the other guy, and Cesar was able to do it sooner. He and his worker showed up exactly on time and started working. They both knew exactly what they were doing. The finished product was perfect, and they finished in less than four hours! I had other companies quote me 8 hours! I highly recommend The EV Guys and Cesar! read more

Amazing service and transparency! Cesar and Oscar were amazing to work with! Would work with them again!

My not so old EV charger couldn't be repaired. I bought a Tesla wall charger and Cesar and his team installed it. He provided me with more information and suggestions than a previous electrician. I work for Audi and will definitely be recommending him to all future friends and family. I will definitely be hiring him again in the near future! Thanks again Cesar!! read more

Seriously the best electrician I've worked with. Cesar is a genuine, hardworking and super fair guy who setup my Level 2 EV charger at my house and then also later did a full 220 volt install to my backyard so I could hook up a hot tub. He came over the course of two days to setup trenching the conduit etc to make it a super clean and expert install. He even came back when the hot tub was delivered and hooked it up free of charge. I mean who does that!??! You will not regret working with Cesar and then EV Guys!! read more

We used Cesar to install a Level 2 charger for my electric car. Let me start by saying that I wish every service provider were as thorough, communicative, polite and on the ball as Cesar is. He responded quickly, gave me a very detailed estimate, scheduled my service, confirmed it, showed up right on time and got the job done right. When he was done with the install, he tested the charger to make sure it worked and helped me set my app up. 100% pleased and I am happy to add to the chorus of positive recommendation for Cesar and the EV Guys!! read more

Cesar and his younger brother showed up promptly for our 8 AM appointment. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions prior to the installation of a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. He setup and installed my new Grizzl-E Duo 40 Amp charging station as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality electrician at a competitive price. I would definitely consider the EV guys for some general electrician work if they were interested and available. If all of the skilled trades were as competent, homeownership would be a heck of a lot less stressful. I fielded multiple quotes for the job and I'm glad I went with the EV Guys. Five star service through and through. read more

Cesar was great to work with! The initial response and estimate was done quickly, and he was able to schedule our EV charger installation in quickly! Amazing experience with Caesar getting my Chargepoint Home Flex EV charger hardwire installed in my garage. I requested quotes from multiple electricians and Cesar was not only one of the most responsive, his price was very fair and he was extremely knowledgeable about my charger. He arranged his schedule to do the install as quickly as he could knowing I needed to charge my car and the job he did was spectacular. It doesn't get any better than this! After the install he even took the time to ensure that my charger was working optimally, including calling Chargepoint to make sure they were seeing the max charge delivery rate for my configuration and vehicle. I would recommend Cesar and the EV Guys team without reservations if you need EV charging work done! read more
