I was referred to Cesar from The EV Guys to install a Tesla charger at my home as a Father's Day surprise for my husband. Cesar and his partner (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) were super nice and really easy to work with. As a woman, I sometimes worry about being taken advantage of with these types of services, but right from the start, I got the best pricing and service without any hassle. Both Cesar and his partner answered all my questions with patience and clarity. They even arrived early on the installation day. The job they did was super clean, and they made sure to tidy up everything before leaving. My husband is going to be excited. read more

Cesar and THE EV GUYS ARE TOP NOTCH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM if you want a car charger installed at your house. Top Quality and Top Value! Cesar was the first company to call me back when I requested service from a couple of companies. He provided me with the best price with the permit included and also passed inspection by the City of Long Beach. Again, highly recommend! read more

Rapid response with a reasonable quote. Oscar showed up on schedule to install the NEMA 14-50 receptacle for the EV charger. He was so highly skilled and very knowledgeable. I had these fellows change out my old 100A panel for a new 220A, wire 220V for an induction stove, and put twin Tesla chargers on my porch, plus swapped out a nonworking GCFI outlet in a bathroom. Everything fine and the price I felt was reasonable. Also then had them put in a charger in a garage at another location, that was quick and working fine. read more

The 5-star reviews here are on point. Cesar and his crew did an awesome job. Communication was fast, friendly and clear, and the process from start (quote) to finish (testing out the install) was simple and easy. The EV guys did a fantastic job with my panel upgrade and EV charger install. Cesar was very through with both the explanation of the work and the work itself. He made sure that everything was done to code and very cleanly. He also took care of the permits and anything else that was required to get the job done. Working with the EV guys was a pleasure and the price was definitely right. I'll be using them again for any other electrical work I may need. read more

Based on the exceptional Yelp reviews, we decided to hire The EV Guys (Caesar) to install a Tesla Wall Charger in our townhome garage - for a new Model Y coming soon. Additionally, installing a Ring Video Doorbell along with secure electrical connection to the existing chime unit upstairs. From the initial phone conversation with Caesar (very professional) to subsequent job walk, competitive quote and efficient/pristine work (including spotless cleanup), we just can't be happier with The EV Guys and Caesar. Thank you so much and sincerely looking forward to a long standing working relationship as we consider a remodel and require an experienced Electrician. You're the best! read more

Highly recommend the EV Guys! Excellent quality of work, incredible knowledgeable, professional customer service and reasonable pricing. Caesar is incredible knowledgeable and consulted with me for the best way to install the charger in my home, cooperating efficiently with my home city's EV charger building permit process, and answered all my questions from start to finish. Omar arrived on time, installed the charger on the wall and the new break installed in the power panel box was flawless and there were no bolts or wire cuts left on the ground and tested the charger working properly. Thanks so much, The EV Guys team! I'll recommend to my family and friends. read more

Requested quote through Yelp and Cesar answered a lot of my questions regarding the 220 outlet and EV charger installation. After some back and forth with a picture of my electric panel and how far I wanted the outlet to be, we were able to agree on a price and set a date for the install. Cesar and Omar showed up on time and went straight to business. The charger that I ordered didn't arrive until late in the afternoon but EV guys came back to mount the charger once it arrived. Rock solid and straight-forward experience. read more

Cesar and Omar were awesome. They were knowledgeable, easygoing, and super professional. My house isn't old by any means but it needed some problem solving that Cesar was able to work out in order to get the EV charger hooked up properly. And all of it was done at a great price that beat all the other quotes I got by a mile. I was also their first Rivian wall charger install but it wasn't an issue for them at all. These guy are freaking awesome.. We recently got a Model Y performance and wanted to upgrade our home charging options. My interaction with Oscar and team was fantastic. We ended up going with an updated breaker to fully support the 48 amp Tesla wall charger. We ran the cabling under the house and it looks really good. These gents came out on the weekend to accommodate my busy schedule and the installation only took a few hours. The price was very fair considering the work and I'd highly recommend them. Thanks again EV guys!! Appreciate you and the team! read more

Don't let their company name fool you because they do much more than only EVs, in fact I didn't have any EV work for them. Cesar and his buddy replaced two light fixtures, added a couple wall power outlets, updated some old power outlets, installed a couple of flood light on one side of the house. and installed a Ring doorbell and flood light. They made sure all their work were complete and functioning. They were referred to me by the Yelp! Home Services, they responded quickly, gave me the hourly rate right away, arrived on time, were easy to talk to, were hard-working, and were reliable. I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good electrician. read more

I couldn't be more satisfied and appreciative of the work done by the EV Guys. I not only saved a considerable amount of money by going with them, which can be down played if the trade off is poorer quality work, but the final result was a masterpiece of professionalism that's rare to encounter nowadays. In fact, my whole experience with them was pretty fast and smooth. It's crazy to think of it. When Cesar first gave me his quote, I thought... it couldn't be as simple as he's communicating, while only costing me that much? I had other companies quoting me as high as $500 for the same work. Cesar just explained his process, outlined some other options and got right to it. Within 10 minutes or so he confirmed his original plan would work as he expected, and was done before I knew it. Bruh!! He was on time, very communicative and his finished work looks like he's been doing this for 20 plus years. On top of that, I sincerely appreciate how he went above and beyond to clean up the sloppiness of some previous work done as well. That's real . I can now charge my EV right from my garage! That's what's up. Thanks for the outstanding service!! Blessings and stay safe read more

My EV Charger wasn't working so Cesar had me take some pictures and told me how to reset the trip. It still didn't work so he stopped by a couple hours later and told me I didn't reset the trip properly. So he did it real quick. Separately I asked him to change a fuse box that kept tripping and he did it right there because he had the part on hand. He didn't overcharge me and I could tell he was honest and reliable. I had a great experience with my charger installation from The EV Guys. I used the Yelp quote system for the first time and was able to get pricing quotes for installation from what looked like the five best companies in the area. EV Guys stood out with their simple and competitive pricing structure and high reviews. Cesar (owner) was very quick to respond to any of my questions and was very helpful all along the way. I purchased an Emporia system through Amazon and as soon as it arrived I was able to make an appointment with Cesar for installation. He did a very clean installation and mounted it exactly where I needed. We had a great conversation while he installed, and I could see what an honest work ethic he has. It is a competitive business, but I know his integrity will help his business continue to grow. He was helpful in answering any questions I needed for the California EV rebate. I needed an outdoor outlet install for a Tesla model 3 because my home has no garage. I reached out to 5-6 other ev installers, but in addition to having very reasonable pricing, ev guys stood out because they were extremely prompt, detailed, and professional in the quoting and inquiry process. I also had lots of questions and worries about having an outlet installed outdoors but I was promptly given details on the install and how it would be protected for daily use. On install day, ev guys was on time, they sent ample appointment confirmations and reminders, and I expected the final price to go up but quote was firm. The work was extremely detailed and clean, and you could tell just from speaking to them how much expertise they had and how much care they put into every install they do. Throughout the entire process they kept me informed, walked me through testing the charger and ensuring it worked correctly, and payment process was extremely easy and contactless through online invoicing. I'm extremely happy with the install and would give more stars if I could! Thank you so much for the service! read more
