I had a GE Profile refrigerator that stopped cooling. I was afraid it was the compressor. Sergey arrived on time and he though it was the inverter on the compressor that had failed. He offered to replace it and if it didn't solve the problem he wouldn't charge me, that is unheard of these days. It not only fixed the problem he also pointed out the hose for my ice maker was leaking, and for a very small additional charge he fixed it also. I wish all repair people were as professional as Sergey. If you need an appliance repair call them, I highly highly recommend them. I didn't know people like Sergey still existed.

They were polite, clean and knowledgeable, advising on each step of their diagnostic testing. It was a tough diagnostic but they narrowed it down to 2 possibilities, which they ended up not needing to use because they fixed it! They did say that while they got it to work, the problem might come back (pressure switch). But I appreciated they didn't try to upsell and said the $90 I paid today would be applied to the next visit in case their fix didn't do it. I love honest folks and these guys are it. It's their own business so no faceless owners. In fact, I chose them because of their website. Call them for any appliance repair.

My centralized heater stopped working right during the holidays. Reached out to many over the weekend and Volta not only called back on Monday but also was able to find someone to check the same day late in the evening. James was able to figure out the issue with the blower right away. Discussed the challenges of finding the replacement parts for bit older model like mine and followed up with call in the morning next day with a quote and placed the order. The office promptly scheduled a follow-up as soon as the part arrived on same day late in the evening. James installed the part and discovered that another part was having issues when the system turned on. He tried his best for several hours though it was too late ~8 PM to keep it running at least for the night. Safety first approach and so turned it off. I would say James was bit disappointed as he cared about us having to deal with low temp this whole time. However he was relentless and very next morning found the replacement part, gave me the most fair and reasonable price for tit. Drove to the warehouse himself and came right back and fixed in no time. He went above and beyond to have the heater working on coldest day of the year. Can't ask for more!!!! Very happy to have found a gem like Volta and that too in our neighborhood. Please do not hesitate to call them. read more

Great service from James! I needed my AC fixed - the receptionist, Alice, was excellent and gave me appointment options for the next day. Upon my request, she said she'd look for same day appointments, and within a half hour, she called back and we scheduled an appointment for today. James (the technician) texted me when he was on the way. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and replaced our blower capacitor. The unit was up and running soon after. James is extremely well-mannered! Called Volta mid Friday because my furnace will not turn on. The guy who answered was very helpful and said he has a technician who can come to my house between 4pm-6pm. I was glad that a technician can come the same day because in other companies i tried the earliest was Tuesday. James, the technician, arrived around 4:30pm and was courteous and pleasant to talk to. I called Volta HAVC service for the second opinion since my home insurance authorised technicians came to conclusion that my refrigerator is not fixable. James, Volta Technician did perfect diagnosis and said that it is a fixable issue and provided the clear report and it helped me to reopen case with home insurance for claims. He installed the latest nest in my older condo and researched another issue which end up being nothing wrong but a simple issue of a switch accidentally turned off and because I had another service, I was not charged for that. Chill was the second to arrive and give us an estimate. At first glance when comparing the numbers they gave me to that of the first company, they seemed way off and too cheap to be real. After getting more quotes, Chill remained the lowest price; however, the cost for some of the other companies came in somewhat close. Upon closer review of the contracts, the type of units offered by Chill were much better. A clear difference and made the price look even better! So we signed up and set our appointment up for the next week. We had to move the date since we felt the timing was terrible (expecting 90° weather when the following week was going to be 60°). They moved the appt with ease, even setting it for the following Monday -- on Memorial Day! This was something they offered and I jumped on it, since I was planning to work from home anyway that day. The day of the install went as expected. No issues arose; although, for the guys in the attic I think they would say they had to make some unplanned adjustments -- no complaints to myself or family. All three workers were extremely kind and respectful. They arrived at 9:20 AM and were out before 6:30 PM. Before starting work, they laid down tarps along the hallway (where the entrance to the attic is). They placed all of the old furnace/AC equipment out in front of the house, but cleaned it all up and packed it into their vehicles. They swept up most all of the leftover debris that fell from the attic space and gathered all of their tools. Upon exiting, one of the installers walked me through how to setup the Google Nest Thermostat. He was very patient and waited to ensure the system was fully functional before leaving (used a thermostat gun to read the temperature on one of the vents).
