    Their customer service is horrible. Their phone redirects you to Whatsup and from there to their website where it is just insanely slow.

When I read these reviews I was horrified and worried I'd be charged for something random, or the airline/ airplane itself would be in horrible condition, my biggest fear was paying extra for no middle seat and coming to only see someone sitting in the middle seat. Needless to say I'd had quite the opposite experience!!! I came in at 9 on Sunday with no life at the desk, walked up to Jasmine who was nice enough to let me know my bag was ok as a carry on. I made it through security with no line at all and to the gate just in time to have a beer and a burrito. The plane and employees on it where just like any other for any other airline I've been on, I didn't have one bad experience. My seat was clean ( window seat) and no one was in the middle seat!!! For the price and experience I'll take this anytime!!! I'm definitely coming back again. Thank you tot he staff for making this enjoyable experience and definitely proving some of these negative comments wrong.

After booking they changed our departure time from very early morning to late evening, and our return flight from late afternoon to morning, effectively costing us two days of our vacation. On our return flight home our flight was abruptly canceled 30 minutes prior to boarding, with no explanation, leaving us no option but to quickly book a flight home on a different airline at a much higher cost! If you have ANY other option, avoid Spirit Airlines like the plague!

My first flight was delayed by two hours which meant I'd miss my connecting flight to Oakland. Note to self. Always fly direct if possible. What happened next just blew me away and made me a Southwest customer for life. * At the Customer Service station in Vegas, the kind Southwest lady booked me on the next direct flight to Oakland at no additional charge. * My baggage didn't make the direct flight to Oakland but the super nice Customer Service lady at Oakland Airport (shout out to Jamina) processed my baggage report and made sure I was alerted when my bag arrived on the next flight which was in about an hour. * Southwest gave me a $150 credit for my troubles. * Southwest refunded my $35 baggage charge. Matt says if you are traveling, be sure to check out Southwest. Their professional attention to the customer is superior to any other airline I've flown with.

Checking a bag was a breeze in the priority lane, and the regular line wasn't super long, but there were people even at that hour. Boarding was also smooth with the numbered zones and assigned seating. The Oakland gate areas are super small thought with a limited amount of seating. I'd imagine on a busy travel day, working your way to your gate could be an issue. It's probably the least appealing gate area of any Southwest terminal I've been in. Luckily, I wasn't there long.

There was a point where the chat session timed out while the reservation was in progress. What I appreciated most was that the next representative reviewed the conversation and picked up where the previous agent left off. That continuity meant a great deal and helped make a sensitive process much easier to manage. I also highly recommend having a SkyMiles account. Being a member seemed to make the process smoother and more personalized, and in moments like this, that added convenience really matters. Out of SJC, SFO, and OAK, Delta has the smallest presence in Oakland. Currently, Oakland only operates to Salt Lake City on a regular basis, with seasonal flights to Atlanta during the summer. Delta used to fly to Los Angeles from Oakland, but they recently axed that service. I used to fly the Oakland-Los Angeles route all the time with Delta - so I'm pretty sad that they discontinued this route. However, from past experiences, Delta has resumed the LAX route from Oakland on various occasions... so yes, I am hopeful they'll resume this route one day. As a Delta medallion member, it's fairly easy to get upgraded from Oakland airport. Fewer elite members fly from Oakland. Understandably though, as there the routings are limited. Regardless of this, service has continued to be friendly and quick. If I ever need to be routed via SLC, I'll be sure to fly with Delta.

For a room advertised as accessible and at a price of over $600 for a 4 hour ride, this level of disrepair is inexcusable. Also, the ticket was advertised as including meals, but there was no breakfast or snacks, and lunch was barely edible (reheated, stale food). Staff were kind, but the facilities and upkeep were not. Coming back from Sacramento, the train was late and we didn't have time to even go into the station. It was directly to the bus to connect back to SF. Very quick boarding. And if you have larger luggage, they store it under the bus. Efficient service. Located on Horton and 59th Street.

I am…read morecoming back from my honeymoon I am at the Lihue airport when the intercom is asking for volunteer check ins to help mitigate the overbooked flight and for the excess guests luggage. After the bumpy flight I go to baggage claim at turnstile # 4 at oak airport and I see my bag slide down hard case shattered and 2 wheels are broken off and a mysterious liquid all over it. My suitcase definitely did not look like that prior to checking it. There's no chance they would've loaded it on like that if I requested to check it. Someone threw it on the belt and hid the broken pieces and missing wheels and sprayed something on it before putting it on the line. Tons of witnesses at baggage claim but no employees around to help mitigate the issue, had to leave as my ride from oak was waiting 45 minutes. Filed a report immediately in the car. One other thing is I packed a souvenir glass I purchased while in hanalei, as I opened my suitcase to inspect, the irreplaceable souvenir unless I went back to Kauai is shattered in the middle of all my clothes ruining all my clothes leaving shattered bits of glass everywhere and now I'm worried about my dog and family stepping on broken bits of glass. This is the first time and last time I take Hawaiian airlines and Alaskan airlines as this ruined my first experience in Hawaii and my honeymoon. Sharon was VERY communicative and was quick to respond to all my emails/texts. She made things REALLY easy for me; this made me feel comfortable bc I was not going to be on the actual ride and wanted to make sure my team was taken care of. There was a snag on the day due to a freeway closure after an unrelated accident but I was able to work with the driver directly to minimize the issue as much as possible. I highly recommend using their services for any transportation needs.
