    I get that cost is a must, but do a slight decrease to compete with a certain airline that has no sense of standard but a lower fare. I truly enjoy the process of boarding and the extreme cleanliness of the plane. Your competition does not hold a candle to the overall outlook of your brand. Your competition relies on nameless cattle that is willing to pay less. Just lower the cost to give the a taste of real service, they just might make a life changing choice. I truly appreciate what you do. Thank You!!

    These Mfers are something else !! I paid for 3 upgrades on my flights to Hawaii, I don't even know what I paid for !! I did enjoy my first class experience...lol The flight attendants for the most part are really nice, and there agents are nice. But some of there pilots are idiots and they talk to much, there planes are so-so. My flight from Salt lake to Oak had a raggedy loud plane !! There NOT Consistent enough for me !! They won't be getting any more of my Money !! watch out if you plan on flying with them :(

    Oh, but they did leave a 1 800 number in case you wanted to actually speak to someone about your cancelled flight

Needless to say I'd had quite the opposite experience!!! I came in at 9 on Sunday with no life at the desk, walked up to Jasmine who was nice enough to let me know my bag was ok as a carry on. I made it through security with no line at all and to the gate just in time to have a beer and a burrito. The plane and employees on it where just like any other for any other airline I've been on, I didn't have one bad experience. My seat was clean ( window seat) and no one was in the middle seat!!! For the price and experience I'll take this anytime!!! I'm definitely coming back again. Thank you tot he staff for making this enjoyable experience and definitely proving some of these negative comments wrong.

After booking they changed our departure time from very early morning to late evening, and our return flight from late afternoon to morning, effectively costing us two days of our vacation. On our return flight home our flight was abruptly canceled 30 minutes prior to boarding, with no explanation, leaving us no option but to quickly book a flight home on a different airline at a much higher cost! If you have ANY other option, avoid Spirit Airlines like the plague!

My first flight was delayed by two hours which meant I'd miss my connecting flight to Oakland. Note to self. Always fly direct if possible. What happened next just blew me away and made me a Southwest customer for life. * At the Customer Service station in Vegas, the kind Southwest lady booked me on the next direct flight to Oakland at no additional charge. * My baggage didn't make the direct flight to Oakland but the super nice Customer Service lady at Oakland Airport (shout out to Jamina) processed my baggage report and made sure I was alerted when my bag arrived on the next flight which was in about an hour. * Southwest gave me a $150 credit for my troubles. * Southwest refunded my $35 baggage charge. Matt says if you are traveling, be sure to check out Southwest. Their professional attention to the customer is superior to any other airline I've flown with.

Checking a bag was a breeze in the priority lane, and the regular line wasn't super long, but there were people even at that hour. Boarding was also smooth with the numbered zones and assigned seating. The Oakland gate areas are super small thought with a limited amount of seating. I'd imagine on a busy travel day, working your way to your gate could be an issue. It's probably the least appealing gate area of any Southwest terminal I've been in. Luckily, I wasn't there long.

For a room advertised as accessible and at a price of over $600 for a 4 hour ride, this level of disrepair is inexcusable. Coming back from Sacramento, the train was late and we didn't have time to even go into the station. It was directly to the bus to connect back to SF. Very quick boarding. And if you have larger luggage, they store it under the bus. Efficient service. Located on Horton and 59th Street.

    For our group trip to Mexico City, we determined that we could fly Aero México out of SFO or…read moreVolaris from OAK. Given our proximity to OAK, we opted for Volaris for our roundtrip flights. The airline is considered the Southwest Airlines of Mexico. The fare was very reasonable and we paid $23.99 for carryon luggage up to 44lbs. and $19 for the Premium seats or exit rows. The $19 for the Premium seats are very reasonable compared to what other airlines charge. Since we checked-in for our flight 24 hours prior to departure and we did not have a check-in bag, they will check your passport at the gate about half an hour before boarding. The upgrade for the Premium seats was well worth it, not only for the extra leg room, but you get Group 1 boarding so you don't have to worry about overhead space for your bag. The planes were new and clean. There is no in-plane entertainment or USB ports. You can buy snacks and beverages. In flight crew were courteous and helpful. We had similar experiences on both flights. No complaints. On our next visit to Mexico, we will fly Volaris again.

I called my credit card company and they assured me my card was good and the problem was on the merchant side. They could not get it to work so, fortunately, I had cash which they took. I had arrived at the airport hours early, sat in a nearby lounge until 11:55 and went to the gate to board a 12:30 flight. The gate was empty. No agents no passengers. I went to the next gate and the volaris agent there told me they had already boarded everyone and I had missed my flight though the plane was still at the gate. While I was standing there arguing, I received the one and only text message from volaris telling me that boarding was closing at 12:15! So I missed my flight. Next day, they boarded us into the sky bridge for the same flight at 11:55, held us there for 20 minutes, then had us all go back out because they had discovered mechanical issues. It is now 12:30 and they have no idea if the plane can be repaired or if we will be leaving or not.

I am…read morecoming back from my honeymoon I am at the Lihue airport when the intercom is asking for volunteer check ins to help mitigate the overbooked flight and for the excess guests luggage. After the bumpy flight I go to baggage claim at turnstile # 4 at oak airport and I see my bag slide down hard case shattered and 2 wheels are broken off and a mysterious liquid all over it. My suitcase definitely did not look like that prior to checking it. There's no chance they would've loaded it on like that if I requested to check it. Someone threw it on the belt and hid the broken pieces and missing wheels and sprayed something on it before putting it on the line. Tons of witnesses at baggage claim but no employees around to help mitigate the issue, had to leave as my ride from oak was waiting 45 minutes. Filed a report immediately in the car. One other thing is I packed a souvenir glass I purchased while in hanalei, as I opened my suitcase to inspect, the irreplaceable souvenir unless I went back to Kauai is shattered in the middle of all my clothes ruining all my clothes leaving shattered bits of glass everywhere and now I'm worried about my dog and family stepping on broken bits of glass. This is the first time and last time I take Hawaiian airlines and Alaskan airlines as this ruined my first experience in Hawaii and my honeymoon.
