I've been around the block. They didn't even ask me to read my monologue. It went like this-pose like a commercial model. Oh you aren't posing like one. Do you want to learn? Ok that's gonna cost you over $2k which includes one full day of training, working with photographer, getting few photos for portfolio and we upload you on our website. You have to pay them $250 to get uploaded to their website. And you don't get uploaded to their website for 3 months. They claim it's a third party but if you do your research they are all connected. The same person owns it. Booking agent you get assigned is sitting somewhere out of state. Oh look-this is how much money you can make! I wanted to say the models you are showing me, are they even real? The jobs you are showing me are they real? You get locked into 3 year contract where you can't work with any other agency in Nevada. And it's fine if they were a reputable agency. But they aren't because they are scammers. When I was done there was a line of three 20 year olds after me. This is just so messed up and makes me angry when people take advantage of others, especially those who are new to industry. Please, people read reviews before giving your hard earned money to these scammers. Take your money and spend it on training and professional photo shoots. I promise you, it will be way less than $2k. Find a reputable in Las Vegas agency if you are looking for work. Stay away from anything that asks you if you can make your first deposit today and scares you that you will loose your spot if you don't put money down.

This employment agency sucks ! They make you sign a contract if you don't give them 5 days notice…read morethat you want to quit the job they put you on then you only get paid minimum wage, when you have already worked the job. I'm outraged, I can't believe they can do this, state law allows you to quit anytime you want to. So Gem State can keep the damn contract, do yourselves a favor and go to IES Staffing, they are much better !!
