Lee's Tailoring provided quick, professional service. I brought in 6 pairs of pants to be hemmed on…read morethe Monday before Christmas and they were ready for pick-up by Saturday. The shop itself is a very quiet, clean place with an ample dressing room to change into what needs to be altered. The proprietor was very proficient in taking the necessary measurements and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The final product fits just as I wanted and was neatly pressed as well as altered. I have no basis for comparison for the price to what other shops charge. It was $12 for unlined pants and $15 for lined pants, and I believe the cost is worth the quality product I received.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I called yesterday to see if the tailor could measure my…read moredaughter correctly for her uniforms. I readily admit I am inept at measuring correctly myself and knew it was time to talk to the professionals. When I called him, he said, "Sure. I am open from 9-4 tomorrow (Saturday)." I said I would be in to get her measured. The next morning, we found his shop and walked in. He came out from the back and I explained to him I had spoken to him about measuring my daughter and that he had told me to come in. He said, "Yes. I'll measure her. $10." I asked him if it was $10 JUST TO MEASURE HER. He said yes. I told him thank you, but no. We weren't going to pay him to spend two minutes to measure her. He let us leave. I walked back into his shop after my daughter (17) and my son got in the car. I told him that when I spoke with him the day before, he made NO MENTION of the charge. He said, "well, that's too bad." I said it was bad business and he said that he didn't care and walked away. I will never recommend him and, in fact, will tell others not to waste their time. The store was empty--it's not like he was ignoring other customers. How hard would it have been to measure her and hope we'd come back for something else? I can promise you we'll never go back there again now.

DO NOT go to Debra for your alterations. Even if she was recommended by your bridal boutique. The…read morework she did on my wedding gown was just awful. I had and am still having an awful experience with Debra. From the beginning she was hard to communicate with. At first, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because she had mentioned that she would be having some surgeries and would be trying to get the alterations done before then. But I regret giving her my dress at all. She never knew who I was or what she was altering for me whenever I spoke with her regarding my dress. This was a big red flag but she already had my dress. She was very forceful/rude when it came to payments being in cash only and constantly reminded me of this fact. The alterations she was going to do were adding a bustle, shortening the straps, replacing the zipper, fixing the snags on the lace, and adding cups. The buttons and hooks she added for the bustle are sloppily sewn on and make the fabric pucker and it does not lay correctly. They are also not evenly placed. There is also one hook missing. She did not shorten the straps (or she didn't shorten them enough because they still fall off my shoulders) or fix the snags. The zipper replacement was also very sloppy. You can see the zipper through my dress and it is crooked. I've spoken to another seamstress since and she confirms that the work is bad and very sloppy. As you can imagine, this was all very upsetting to me when I finally tried on my dress. Which she didn't mention that I should do before picking up the dress. My mom picked it up for me and I didn't have a final fitting. Not only was all of the sloppy work upsetting, but I also spent almost $300 on alterations that I will just have to have fixed by someone else. She also charged me for the cups to be added in but she did not finish the work. She wanted to wait to add the cups because they don't fair well in the dry cleaning process. At the time, I thought that waiting on the cups was fine because I assumed I would be going back to her to finish my alterations. I will not be returning to her for future work. I contacted Debra on more than one occasion to share my concerns and ask for a refund and her response further confirms that she does not know who I am and she does not remember my dress. She said that I had a final fitting with her and that I did not voice any of these concerns. As I stated earlier in my review, I did not have a final fitting. She never mentioned having one and rushed me to pick up the dress because she was having a surgery. Because I couldn't get there in her time frame, my mom picked up my dress for me. She did refund me the amount for the cup installation. Even if it doesn't come close to what I will have to pay to get it all fixed. I understand that she was having some surgeries but she should not have taken me on as a client if she could not deliver quality work. Debra is unprofessional and does not take the time to even try to know the client she is talking to.

Normally I would have difficulty finding ways to distinguish one cleaners from another, but…read moreLakemoor Cleaners really made it easy for me. I needed to get a bunch of shirts and pants pressed and figured I would go to the closest place to me, and, living in Volo, this was it. I am glad I decided to go here. Above all, the employee that helped me was what made it great! Helpful and friendly made for the perfect combination. She noticed i was not in the system and asked if I had recently moved to the area. when I said I had, she welcomed me to the area and commented on what a nice area it is. She was also very accurate in making sure she knew what I needed with each article of clothing. When my wife picked up the clothes, she also said how nice they were. Now, I realize many people will say, who cares, how were the clothes? I can happily report that they all came out great. I asked for lightly starched, and they were. Creases were all correct. Fold were correct. My shirts actually looked newer than when I dropped them off! As far as prices, I had 3 pants pressed and 10 shirts pressed for a total of $31.00, which as far as I can remember seems about average. This is definitely my new permanent cleaners and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
