I found game had a brand new console for the same price, so purchased this and went to return it an hour later. I was then told the refund to was to voucher only! As I had just bought an alternate I was fuming! I explained what happened to the manager but they didn't care! I ended up spending the money from the voucher on other games I was going to purchase later on. I will not purchase anything from cex in the future after this experience!

When going into the store on both occasions I was not greeted by staff within the couple of minutes which it would usually take in rival shops. Staff are not helpful in the slightly and do not offer any assistance with things such as getting a demo of a new phone model. Overall, do not go to this store to purchase anything as you will end of receiving poor after sales service.

It's like a bring and buy sale but without case trading. They have several tables set out on the busy street where you have a look and if you like something simply take it and say thank you. You never know what you might see there. In the past I've seen jigsaws to ski boots. It's a got a kind of a studenty vibe to it which isn't a bad thing. In the current climate I'd imaged those who would have normally walked passed and balked at the idea of having something second hand may now not be so hoity toity. They have a really good selection of games for all models of console, including the most up to date releases, all at fair prices. They also have a really good system where you can trade in your old consoles and games, against new ones, and others can then buy pre-owned games and consoles at bargain prices. This is well worth a look if you want to buy something as you can save loads of money this way. The shop is quite big, and staff are helpful but because it is very popular you often have to queue to pay. Game do a loyalty card as well, so you can collect points everytime you buy something.
