Normally I loathe this approach to customer service, particularly in mobile phone retailers where the staff can be very pushy, but on this occasion I was most grateful for the offer. On hearing my request the member of staff informed me that he was sure there was one in the storage room that was an old design so was no longer in display. He hurried off and 5 minutes later returned with a slightly dusty box containing my desired product. Dust wiped off and a little knocked off the price as it was old stock and I left the store a happy customer. This store always has a big range to look over but I always seem to get lumbered with a newbie staff member who knows far less than I do and wastes my time by telling me all about the the latest features that I have no interest in. Their computer hook-up back to Vodafone HQ seems to work well and they can at least look up your account quickly. Please get some better staff training in place Vodafone.

The woman I dealt with this time was really helpful and polite, but the previous time we had a man who rushed us along and wasn't very polite. the majority of the staff are really friendly. The carphone warehouse stores are quite small but nice and tidy, and very easy to understand the deals and pricing they have. I would reccomend it to people looking for phone deals that include a free gift.
