Bed was very comfy plus hot water in shower came on immediately which was great! Our room had big manatee paining from guy harvey collection! We decided to eat out after we walked to beach and went in the pool. After being in car all day it was amazing to relax in pool.. pool also had tiki bar with great drinks and beer menu! On second day, they were replacing a pipe, had to shut down the water. Took them all day to replace it, and then a bust pipe! It resulted in a disaster, there was no water all day and night. Worst nightmare. The water finally came back on the next day... for a few hours, then water shut off again! This time, I was told that their landscaping guy broke the pipe. It was really bad timing because it was one day before thanksgiving. Good that it only took a couple of hours to fix it this time. At least they did something right by offering partial discount (50% off of that one night). Every employee was nice and friendly except the house keeping lady who did our room. We greeted her, but she never greeted us back, always poker face. She only cleaned the drain in the shower one time, leave the hair in the drain for the rest of our stay. She didn't give us clean towels every day, didn't clean the trash bin in the shower. I never had this bad experience before. We booked the thanksgiving meal at the hotel, the meal was good as a buffet style food. Only one hour to dine, as they rotated the tables every hour. It cost us $50 per person plus taxes and tips, alcohol drinks not included. The meal was good, but I will not do it again. Breakfast not included in the room rate.

The breakfast was great with many options to choose from, and again, great service. What makes this place unique is the beautiful tropical gardens. The down side is that it does not have a heated pool. All through the winter months ,the pool is unusable except for the most hardy. Also, if you have any trouble with mobility you will have great difficulty getting to the beach because there is a huge sand dune that you must climb over to get to the beach. There are two tennis courts and a hot tub. Many other resorts have more amenities. We give SeaWinds 5 stars for its excellent location, close to restaurants and shopping, beautiful gardens, ponds and wildlife, convenience of condos with garages and driveways. The pros far outweigh the cons.

We walked into the Imax theater to check out what documentaries were playing. We got to talking to one of the ushers and he told us that the putting greens outside were shut down indefinitely. It used to be free with a Imax membership. I saw a sign for a Starbucks and one restaurant called the CaddyShack. Which I have eaten at before and was very good. You can also find the World Golf Hall of Fame here, a hotel and a beautiful golf course. It ended up being a nice short walk.

Very musty, unpleasant smell in entry hallway. No elevator to bring in luggage. Dirty very stained poor quality carpet. Dirty stained furniture that has outlived its usefulness. Low definition TV signal going into a high definition TV which distorts all broadcasts. Fitness center was pitiful. Three machines and three kettlebells. Ceiling in bathroom has water damage and is peeling. Washer and dryer have been placed in a closet space that is too small, so doors have been removed. Oven was dirty Coffee maker is cheap and the warming plate is burnt. It needs to be replaced. Exterior needs to be power washed. Slatted blinds do not allow room that do not keep out light. Very small closet of master bedroom is in the bathroom. Shower in master bath needs to have grout cleaned. Sprayer fixture of kitchen sink is loose. Shower fixture in master bath is loose There is no reception or checkin on property which should have been one of our first warnings about the property. Expedia did not represent this property accurately. If these conditions do not bother you then maybe it's the place for you, but I would steer clear.

The rug in the condo had lots of disguting stains, the screen door to the patio was completely ripped so we could not leave it open. The dryer left rust stains on our clothes and the heat sensors on the dryer were not working. The ice maker was not working at all and it was turned to the "on" position. There were no batteries in the remote for the primary bedroom TV, we called and were told housekeeping would bring up batteries, they never showed up so we just ended up sharing a remote with the other bedroom. The primary bedroom doesn't have cable but the living room and secondary bedrooms do (make that make sense). We came back very late one night to someone parked in our assigned spot, we called security but he wasn't even on site (also make that make sense), so we parked in visitor parking and my husband left a note on the car stating to not park in our spot. Come to find out the next day the person who parked in our spot was housekeeping. Why is housekeeping there at 1:00 AM? And they should not be parking in spots that are reserved for guests who are renting. We also found out that housekeeping came into our condo without our permission! There is no housekeeping services, so please tell me why someone is allowed to enter without permission or knowledge? We found this out because we had a vacuum in the closet and we went to go use it and it was gone. My husband went down to the office to find out what could have happened and he was told housekeeping is allowed to enter!! I don't have proof unfortunately, but I have some very expensive makeup go missing!! It never left the bathroom and was there the night before all this happened. Hot water doesn't last very long and almost non existent after a few minutes. The grounds really need some help with clean up and landscaping. Leaves and brush keep falling into the spa's and the pools. Very disappointed in our stay and don't feel safe knowing people can just enter without knowledge.

We normally go to destin west rv resort but wanted a change this year. I looked at a lot of drone videos. Checked campers on video. I thought it was doable. Still sitting here looking at ocean from our window. Positives. Beachront, oceanfront. Great drivable beach. A couple minutes walk fromour camper to the beach. MINUTES. Negatives. Well anything but oceanfront may be tight. Some of those spaces even are a bit tight. But just a handfull. Me, my cousin, and my uncle came to camp. 45 foot dp, 43 foot fifth wheel, 40 foot fifth wheel. Looks tight but is very doable to get to beachfront row. We have 40 foot jayco eagle fifth wheel 3 and 4 slide models. Some sites you cannot get those in for sure, but not many. Only 4 i cannot get in and i have the 40 foot fifth wheel. Looking at ocean from my lr window as i write this. I took copius notes on the best sites we can get in. Nope, never revealing those. The only negative i had, or my wife. When you pull in, register and go through gate, your turn right and go up a small hill and the veer right and down hill. There is a tree there that if you do not get as far right as you can could play havoc with the top of your rv. Maybe if enough comain they will trim it. We were walking back frompool and a fifth wheel toy hauler was in jeopardy of having their ac ripped off. Had them go to far right and all was ok. But tree should be trimmed. Pool is awesome. Beach is awesome.easy access. Pick your site carefully. Come and enjoy. This our next 5 year destination.

I wanted a monthly rate since I was staying 30 days. Today, Oct 1, I received a call asking when I was arriving today. I explained that my reservation was supposed to be starting the 3rd not today and she indicated a monthly reservation is from the first of the month. Of course, they said if I cancel, I lose my $250 deposit. Since they were going to charge for days I would not be there I canceled. This was to be our 4th visit to thios park but now and in the future we will be going elsewhere.

We had a pleasant stay and recommended it to our family and friends. We signed up for another stay for Labor Day weekend 2025, and put down a cash deposit. Unfortunately, we had a very serious family emergency involving out adult son. We were unable to stay there as we had hoped. We called and canceled. We were told that we would lose our cash deposit, and would not be eligible for a credit for another stay. My husband is the kindest, most respectful person and asked again for a break on our cash deposit. They wouldn't budge, and offered nothing to encourage us to come back. We are very sad as we loved the place, but don't understand how people can be so inflexible. As parents, they of all people should know that one's children have to come first. I hope that when one of their babies needs them on short notice, that they will get the support from others that they did not extend to us. Tony and Stacie O.
