Slowly, we approached the counter, taking our time to ponder the extensive menu. finally, we selected a pineapple and onion pizza and a veggie Stromboli. As we waited with anticipation for our food, a microcosm of the city of wheeling bustled around us. parents getting takeout, a wrestling coach and his team dining in after practice. Finally, the main event. The pizza: hot, melty cheese, crispy yet light and soft crust. The Stromboli: packed with flavor, bursting at the seams, perfection. I personally love Vocelli's food. Everything from their subs to their pizza and beyond. Never disappointed in the quality and most of the staff is very friendly. HOWEVER, you would be best to go pick it up because delivery is always no less than 1.5 hrs. Not the fault of staff probably I think the owners need to hire more drivers. The staff at the Wheeling location are beyond amazing! My mother in law lives in a retirement complex and when the guys saw I was ordering pizza for her and the ladies to enjoy on game night they offered to take care of the ladies every month. They look forward to pizza and bunko every month and I can't get over how generous the staff at Vocelli's are to go out of their way for ladies they don't know. Cant recommend them enough! read more

Vocelli pizza has delicious, fresh food. While checking out the town on electric scooters, we asked a local for a recommendation. She said Vocelli's was great, so we hit it up around 10pm. We were not disappointed! A small pepperoni pizza, boneless buffalo wings, a Stromboli with 4 toppings, and 2 drinks was about $30. The service was outstanding and friendly. They hand toss each pizza and make everything fresh. Isaac was amazing! While we did not try the pepperoni rolls that Joey had recommended, we were very satisfied with the quality and pricing of our selections. I highly recommend stopping by Vocelli Pizza! We at SCWA & CSE have nothing but the greatest respect for the Owner and crew at Vocelli in Wheeling. They go out of their way to make sure that the ring crew is taken care of on set up night with warm delicious pizza. We couldnt ask for better delivery drivers who delivery the pizza in a very safe and timely manner. The amount of food provider for the ring crew is top notch across the board. On show night they provide once again great service and food to our shows for the crew and wrestlers performing that night. They make that staff and crew feel special and appreciated by the wonderful service they provide with the delicious food. We at SCWA last night want to say thank you for making us feel special and out bellies full. Decent food, and lots of it, for cheap, from nice people. Husband and I stopped on Labor Day on our way through town. He ordered a 10" meatball pizza, ate half, and brought the other half home. I got a Tuscany salad, which comes with chicken, olives, two kinds of cheese, green pepper rings, and tomato. Together we ate half, and I brought the rest home​. Ordered a pizza and mushroom spinach rolls. I placed my online orderer at 2:04 pm. At 3:34 I called the restaurant, the lady that answered was very short. She told me they were very busy and it was out for delivery. No apology for the wait and she hung up on me. At 4:03 the delivery driver arrived. She was amazing! Apologetic for my wait and very nice. I took my pizza into the kitchen and immediately went to dishing out plates. One problem it was cold! I immediately called and told them to just come back and get it. That after waiting two hours I was given cold pizza. I was met with "oh it can't be that bad it was under lamps". Ok first off if I wanted hours old pizza under lamps I'd go to a gas station. I used to order weekly for coworkers and myself. 4/5 times I have to call and ask them to bring parts of our order that they forgot. It's usually the extra items-dipping sauce/dressing, but has also included drinks that come with the lunch special. I wouldn't care if we didn't have to pay for it. Then we wait another 30 minutes for it to be delivered. I can't believe there is not quality control in place to verify orders before they leave the store. Also, please write the type of hoagie on the bag! I don't like unwrapping other people's sandwiches to make sure they are given to the right person. Vocelli Pizza has moved near the center market. I called in an order for pizza and Vocelli Rolls. The gal on the phone who took my order was very friendly and answered promptly... one thing that ranks high with me as I hate to call any business and the phone ring multiple times. She told me the order would be ready in 25-30 mins. We arrived a tad early but my wait was just a few mins. The food smelled awesome driving home! The pizza was really good. We got traditional crust, which was ok. But the sauce was great and I loved how the pepperoni was crisp. The Vocelli Rolls were fantastic. We got pepperoni. Their sauce is really good. Not spicy like most places anymore. This was our first time to order this pizza but we will be back!! Don't hesitate to get this pizza. It is A+!!! An hour later, I called to see if there was an issue and the lady said "it's on the way right now." 30 minutes later, I called to cancel. Same lady answered and put me on hold. In the past I had ordered from there with mixed results however, the past two experiences we're both horrible. I live in an area that is notorious for poor tipping and I am well aware of that as I am sure to at least tip 4 or 5 bucks for even single person orders. I called in to order and the employee said to me "People don't tip much up there you wana give the driver his tip now". I think that's pretty self explanatory. Today my elderly mother is visiting who is 71 she calls to order the 2 sub special for 12.99. The "Manager" said such a special doesn't exist. I called back and politely said hey it's on your web site as a permanent fixture it seems. She very VERY Condescending and said well I need you to tell me that coupon code. When it's a posted coupon. I started to say my mother is elderly she said "Uh huh What about your mother". At that point i said never mind cancel the order and hung up before I said anything impolite.
