This is only about DeFelice's Detroit style pizza. I have eaten 100s of Detroit style pizzas from every Detroit area bar and pizza joint having lived there for years. DeFelice's version does not disappoint. Good crust (a little different than Detroit traditional, but it is a good twist). Lots of cheese. High quality pepperoni. Sauce on top per the style. Good sauce with a mild zip. 10 times better than Detroit based Little Caesar's version. read more

DeFelice Bros. Pizza- Wheeling - This is the "Greek Salad" I just paid $10.00 for. - Pizza Near Me - Wheeling, West Virginia

We ordered a large taco pizza and a large pepperoni and cheese. Both were amazing. Will be a regular customer

Would be a zero if possible. Been ordering same pizza for years now and must be a newer girl answering phone telling me I can't get my half and Half normal pizza I have been getting for years. Tried to explain to her we been doing this for a long time and is great. Refused to do it so we told her we'll spend our money else where. Real shame bc we really enjoyed this pizza. Hopefully management get wind of this and sends her down the road somewhere lol. Real shame how customer service has gone down. Call elsewhere for your pizza. read more

The pizza has gone down hill. It used to be the best. Ordered the white pizza with ricotta but it tasted like over cooked mozzarella.

it's not the first time I've ordered from here but will probably be the last. almost every time I order they forget something that I paid for. ordered 2 subs and 2 buffalo chicken fries and they forgot the dressing for the subs and the ranch for the fries. pizza looked okay though. read more

Ended up getting food poisoning from the Chicken Club Salad. Probably cross contamination. Will be the last time I go here. Hopefully the health department takes a look at this place. read more

We tried the pizza here on the ravings of someone we met on the elevator at the hotel we were staying at. We were excited that this pizza would be something special, but unfortunately, it was not. You will not have to worry about anything falling off the pizza while you are eating a piece. Kind of like a Papa Johns or a frozen pizza. After my experience, I would recommend ordering extra sauce. The pizza was pretty doughy with not much sauce or cheese. It is NOT one of those Italian pies that the cheese is stringy and messy when you pull it apart. The pepperoni is not the small diameter spicy ones. The crust does not have any flavor. I gave it a three star rating because the people working there were real friendly. I will go back one more time to try a pasta dish that looked good on the menu. When I'm in Wheeling, I'm sticking with DiCarlo's Pizza for flavor from now on! read more

A recent work trip brought me to the Ohio Valley last week, and the recommendation of an acquaintance (from Moundsville) brought me to DeFelice Brothers for a pepperoni roll. This place was incredible. The food is outstanding, the prices are unbelievably cheap, and the place, though a carryout-and-delivery joint, had a nice local feel. Upon my visit I got a giant oozy, cheesy, and slightly spicy pepperoni roll and grape soda for an astonishing $4.26, or you know, about half the price of the tolls I paid on the PA Turnpike to get to the area. Words can't express how tasty it was. I very much hope that work or play bring me back to Wheeling again soon, because I'll be daydreaming about that pepperoni roll for weeks. Don't miss it! read more

Ordered pizza online, drove to get it... No pizza! They said they'd "be happy" to make it, ready in 20 minutes. There was no mention of comping it. I left and went to Little Cesar's. read more

My first time at DeFelice, despite having been in the area for almost 20 years. The online ordering application did not work, so I had to call and place my order over the phone. They told me how long it would be, and it was ready when I got there. The WEIGHT - - Oh Yes, the toppings applied heavily, all the way out to the crust. Rip-off places like Pizza Hut don't put 1/4 or 1/5 as much stuff on. There is no comparison, and I'm sitting here having not even eaten half of the pizza, and I'm full. I got an extra-large 'Everything' pizza minus tomatoes (because it's rare to get tomatoes in restaurants anymore that aren't horrible), with extra sauce and extra cheese and jalapeños. One of the best pizzas I've ever had - in 40+ years of ordering them. read more

Heart shaped pizza is always a must for us. Knowing the demand, I called in advance for a 7 pm pick up. After arriving at 6;55 pm, was told twice it would be 5 more minutes. Finally got my pie at 7:35pm. Why bother calling ahead. Pizza was excellent. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My bf and I ordered a Taco Pizza to be delivered while traveling through. They forgot the taco meat completely! When we called back, at that time we were so offset by the pizza and so much time had passed we didn't think we'd finish a whole pizza. We asked just for wings instead which they would not do, even though they cost less than the pizza itself. They should've given us the wings plus the pizza for the inconvenience to be honest. What horrible customer service! read more

Defelice Bros isn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it's definitely the best I've had since moving to Wheeling. The crust has a nice crunch to it and the pizza always has plenty of toppings. The people that work there are always very nice and the pizza is always ready when they say it will be and piping hot. One time I accidentally ordered from the Weirton location and when I went here to pick up, they made my order right away, even upgrading me to a larger size for no charge even though it was entirely my fault. I would recommend staying away from the white pizzas with only olive oil, though - their crust definitely needs a heartier sauce, and I usually order my pizzas with extra sauce (personal preference at any pizza place). read more

We kept coming back because we remember how it used to be, but no more. This place CONSTANTLY messes up our order. It's like they just put whatever's handy on it, despite your order. Often the pie is smashed, their extra cheese looks like they just dumped a mountain of cheese on it, and sometimes they don't even give you the right size pie. And don't get delivery, unless you want you pizza to look like it survived a hurricane. Very poor management, a real disappointment. read more

I only had the pizza here. It decent. Pan pizza isn't my favorite. The pizza kinda reminded me of one of the Little ceasars square pan pizzas. I've had better and I've had worse. read more

The delivery was fast, the thin crust pizza was excellent. Real mozzarella and provolone. I loved it!

Just don't order here anymore, everything I have tried has been lacking. My co-workers order from here, I opt out. They must always have a shortage of cheese, little on pizza and forget the " cheese sticks". Dough tough, sauce sweet, salads small as are calzones. Their "thin" crust is obviously their regular pizza dough pounded flat, like eating cardboard. Just can't think of anything good to say.... read more

I ordered a medium pizza last evening(4/22/16). It was suppose to be a white cheese garlic pizza. Back in the day, this pizza was probably Defelices' best pizza. For $10.63,what I got was a burnt round of thick dough unevenly cut with very little cheese and no garlic flavor. I just conferred with my significant other, and she agreed with me that, without question, this product was the worst pizza we have ever had. We are older and retired, but certainly, not void of knowing the difference between a good product and a bad product. I will certainly not be spending any of my hard earned retirement money with Defelice Bros Pizza anytime soon. read more
