Greco's has awesome pizza and the cookie pizza is to die for. Definitely a great local take-out option for those living in or passing through the Wheeling area! Came here for the buffet on this particular occasion, though I have gotten take-out from them in the past and it has been spectacular. The buffet isn't always restocked as quickly as you might like, though that is bound to happen in smaller establishments. There isn't a ton of charm to the interior though it seems like a good throwback to the pizza place forerunners of the 60's and 70's, which has its own version of ambiance. Cleanliness is middling, as is the service. They definitely provide good quality for the price, and value is the name of the game when it comes to pizza. I recommend the pepperoni rolls and the cookie pizza, those are well-worth the stomach space. I plan on coming back here during my future trips to Wheeling, and you should definitely consider giving it a shot as well. Overall: 4.0 stars --- Pros: - Excellent pizza and delicious desserts. - Value is great for the money, especially the buffet. - 60's/70's pizza aesthetic appeals to me, and hopefully it will for you as well. - Good amount of parking, especially since this shopping center is rarely busy. This buffett is terrible. They charge you just to have no product available to eat. No pizza, no dessert pizza, no chicken wings. There's some lettuce and dressing available. Mostly empty pans. They continue to let people in the restaurant though, but it's 30 min plus in between them dropping a single pizza at the buffett for the entire restaurant. Won't ever return. read more

If you're hungry and don't have much money then this place is for you. I tried the buffet on a Saturday. The pizza was kind of OK. The different types all tasted the same. The soup was extremely salty and could not be eaten. The Grecoroni was pretty good though. The best thing about the place is the waiters and the price. They keep the buffet filled and are attentive to the customers. Since the cost is low its a place for the down trodden to feed their gut. This last visit was my third and final time. The pizza's are usually very good at this place. Unfortunately, the phone etiquette is some of the worst I have ever encountered. They act like they are doing you a favor by taking your call. 1 star is too much even for this place. We sat down and the waitress greeted us in a timely manner but that was the last good part of the service. She was obviously was on some form of speed with the way she pressured us to order immediately before she scurried off to find her next fix. She finally reappeared about 15 minutes later with our waters we ordered and all but demanded our entree orders. We ordered them but wanted an appetizer which we had to stop her from running off to get ordered. The appetizer came and was as bland as the decor of this antiquated "restaurant." Then came our meals, we both ordered the pasta and meatballs. Both of them came as cold as if they'd come from the fridge to our table. The sauce was cold, the noodles were cold, even the obviously frozen meatballs were cold. We sent it back and after about 15 minutes we were presented with the same plates which had been microwaved of course. The waitress tried to be extra and pretend the plates were steaming hot but they were still barely like warm. We gave up and decided To try to consume the meals anyway. The meatballs were so spongy I thought maybe we could play tennis with them and the now dry rubber noodles were barely hidden but the watery tomato flavored "marinara sauce." After a few bites, we gave up and left to head over to a local ice cream shop in hopes that ice cream would warm us up after the horrible atrocity we had just witnessed at the "Italian restaurant." Has amazing Spaghetti Salad that looks like just cold Spaghetti, until you taste it, house dressing is great, and the veggies are crisp and cold. First time at this restaurant and I so wanted to like it. I had the buffet and it was okay. Good salad selection and a good house ranch is always a plus. Dirty plates, however, not so much. The pepperoni pizza was so so, not awful, but not anything I would go out of my way to have again. The crust was pretty flavorless. The breadsticks and "grecoroni" rolls on the buffet were old and dried out (even though we got to the restaurant near the start of the buffet time) and the marinara was very bland. The alfredo pasta dish with spinach was nice and had a good flavor. I did not try the meatballs because they did not look very appetizing. The pizza with the pasta on it (mac and cheese pizza?) was good, as well, and the dessert pizza with pineapples was different but tasty. Service was so so, and we were not even asked if we needed refills until we were ready to leave. My daughter, who did not want the buffet, liked her chicken tenders and fries. Two buffets, two drinks and a kids chicken fingers and fruit punch was $41. Honestly not worth the price. Also, apparently they automatically add an 18% tip to your bill. read more

And the entire reason we went was for chocolate chip pizza... Our waitress said she would put the order in for it when our food was coming.... We had our holiday lunch party here today, we opted for the buffet. The salad bar offered a lot of choices in greens and dressings. I filled my plate with fresh veggies and light Italian dressing. I would've had more but quickly headed for the pizza. I tried a few of the pepperoni and sausage pizza slices and they were delicious. What I enjoyed the most is the thin and crunchy crust which was also good. I never got to the desert pizzas as I was already full, will have to try next time. We stopped by one day to place an order for a carryout. The guy behind the counter walked behind the woman taking my order and said "It's going to be a long while to get it ready." Never looked at me, very impersonal. Couldn't tell me how long a "long while" was. So we got something else and decided to call ahead the next day for dinner. We called ahead, very impersonal once again, and told me to come in 45 minutes. When I got there, 45 minutes later, they handed me an ice cold pizza. What poor customer service. I remember when Greco's used to be "okay". This is not a great place to eat. The food is mediocre at best and the service is slow and unattentive. Your best bet is to go with the buffet since then at least you can serve yourself the lukewarm, greasy pizza and don't have to tip. read more

Went here with a local friend and her family. Everyone else in the place was ordering and receiving their food while we sat with our drinks. The waitress informed us that their computers messed up and our orders didn't get put in. We asked if we could get our appetizers taken off our bill. She asked her boss and relayed to us that "no, she would not take anything off the bill because it wasn't her fault the computer wasn't working. " Wow.
