I recently purchased some seasonal blooms from Trang to arrange bouquets myself for my friends, and I'm so glad I did! The flower colors he chose were absolutely stunning--a beautiful, thoughtful mix that you just can't find anywhere else. The selection itself was fantastic; most of the flower species were really special and unique, definitely not the basic varieties you find at a regular supermarket. Everyone I gave them to was thrilled! I received many compliments from my friends on how beautiful and distinctive the flowers were. If you're looking for high-quality and special flowers, this is the place. Highly recommend Vo Floral Design! read more

Ordered the Mother's Day floral arrangement for my mother in law. Vo Florist is the absolute best florist to work with! Trang was so calm, patient and professional to work with! She was an all-star vendor on the wedding day. She understood the assignment and vision!! We created a vision board and continually made refinements throughout the process. I love that she understood scale (scale of flowers to the venue) and is passionate about her work. Our venue was at a country club, the main spaces there and in the ballroom is quite tall and wide. The florals filled to scale in every room and space just to perfection. She was easy to communicate with and was very assuring. I was confident in her work on the final meeting. On the wedding day, the vision really came to life!!! The flowers stunningly elevated every event space. We received so many compliments on decor and on the floral! It was absolutely gorgeous and we're still swooning over the look. I can't stress enough how amazing Trang is! She is a true artist and amazing at what she does. The best in the business and we would absolutely do business with her again. read more

Vo Floral Design goes above and beyond for all your floral needs. I ordered on their website a Garden Inspired Arrangement, Size "Love" for my dad who loves flowers. You never know what flowers you'll truly get as it depends on what is readily available so you have to trust the florist's creative eye. I ordered from Trang only once before but I 100% believed she would put together another beautiful arrangement. And she did. My dad loved it. My mom loved it, I loved it - just as much as the complimentary bouquet Trang made for me! Yes, when I picked up the arrangement she also handed me a wrapped bouquet of ranunculus and daffodils. It was so generous and sweet of Trang. I was so happy to take home a personal Vo Floral Design arrangement for myself. Vo Floral Design does more than just occasional floral arrangement orders. I picked up my arrangement at their farm where they grow and harvest their own flowers and greenery! The estate is beautiful! I believe you can rent a studio space, take classes and even have your wedding here. You can tell this team has a lot of passion for the floral industry and is extremely intentional with their space. If you're interested in exploring any of that I highly recommend. For floral arrangements in a pinch (1-3 days order in advance) - forever my go to and should be yours too. I picked up my arrangement because it was on the way to my parents but they offer delivery at a very low price too. I can't say enough nice things about Trang and Vo Floral Design so I will continue to recommend it to everyone I know. read more

Trang did the florals for my wedding last year and they were stunning! She is a professional and was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her as your florist! read more

Trang, the owner of Vo Floral Design, is so pleasurable to work with, and we have nothing but positive things to say about the wonderful job she did on our wedding florals last March. I would argue that Trang's florals elevated our wedding event and made the biggest difference in tying the "look" of our venue/ceremony/reception/wedding party together. Hence, hiring her was one of the best decisions we made on our wedding. From beginning to end, the process was so smooth. First, the bride's sister found Vo Floral Design online, set up an introductory call, and Vo Floral Design took care of our needs from there. This included an in person conversation at Trang's studio to nail down our preferences (she used reference photos ensuring we're on the same page), working on a couple quotes for us later, email correspondence during the month before the event, and coordination for setting up and dropping off bouquets/boutonnières with the wedding party. Trang was so professional throughout. Not knowing what to expect because we don't have expertise in floral design, we were blown away by the artistry and attention to detail. Trang also complemented our signage along with wedding arch perfectly, which the groom designed and made by himself, without overshadowing. Did we mention Trang grows some of the flowers herself, so you get in-season, fresh blooms in stunning shades and variety? Amazing how much heart she puts into everything she does. Lastly, with our medium budget, we were beyond happy with how much florals that got us. We had just the right amount. We believe hiring Vo Floral Design is 100% worthwhile, and we highly recommend to all. read more

My husband and I worked with Trang on the florals for our recent wedding. If I am to be honest, we had not really thought much about flowers beyond our bouquets etc, and didn't really know much about this realm. Working with Trang gave us a deeper appreciation for floral design and arrangement, and gave us a stronger eye for floral quality. First of all, Trang herself is so sweet. She listens to your vision and makes recommendations, and collaborates closely with you on exactly what you're looking for. We probably went back and forth about 10 times on our project and she was extremely patient and helpful the whole time, making sure our vision would be executed perfectly and never pushy. Secondly, her floral design is BEAUTIFUL. Like I said, I didn't know much about florals before, but after seeing her arrangements and designs and how she envisioned our event, it really gave me a much deeper appreciation for these details. Her flowers seriously look so lush and velvety, and she was able to create an overall organic, simple and elegant set of pieces for our special day - we couldn't have imagined it better ourselves. In particular, the bouquets were beautiful. She even grew some of the flowers in her personal garden, especially for my bouquet! The table setting and scape was also perfect. We were looking for a very warm, cozy, romantic atmosphere that still felt very organic and not too over the top. She absolutely NAILED it - we had simple, beautiful bud vases and glowy candles that matched our table scape perfectly, and allowed guests to still converse easily across the table from each other. Do not hesitate to book Vo Floral for your event, Trang and her team are absolutely top notch!! read more

Trang was absolutely amazing and was so incredibly sweet to work with! She was so attentive and patient with me as I changed the pieces I wanted multiple times and truly made my vision come to life so perfectly. She also provided her expertise in terms of what she thought would work well and was very thorough in our discussions with her which made it so easy to trust her completely. I have received so many compliments from friends and family on how stunning the wedding florals and arrangements were and everyone was so eager to take them home at the end of the night! I can't thank Trang enough for making our wedding day so incredibly special and beautiful with her extraordinary talent! I will forever be recommending Trang and would definitely love to work with her again in the future. Thank you, Trang!! read more

Beautiful, unique floral designs, using seasonal and rare flowers. Trang understood our vision and pulled together exactly what we wanted. Our venue was already incredibly stunning as-is, so her floral touches were subtle, but effective. She played with the natural beauty of the venue and used flowers with vivid colors to accent it. We would absolutely use her again for a future event. read more

My wedding was a dream come true and the florals played a huge part in it. The main staging area which had a pergola was wrapped in greenery with a huge arch as the main focal point. The aisle had flowers hanging from the seats with petals on each side of the runner. The bouquets, table arrangements, sweetheart table and wings piece was all gorgeous. Thank you so much! read more

When people comment on my wedding, it is always. about. the. flowers. When looking for a florist, I told my wedding planner that we wanted classic yet organic florals. She immediately suggested I take a look at Vo Floral. After falling in love with her work on Instagram, we arranged a meeting with Trang to talk about our wedding. Trang is a master of her craft, a true professional, and the *sweetest* person you will ever meet. When deciding who will be a part of your big day, she is someone you want on your team. We worked with her in the year leading up to our wedding to come up with ways to differentiate our wedding from other weddings at the same venue. We ended up wrapping the Oak tree our ceremony took place in front of in flowers and hanging a floral chandelier over the dance floor. The bouquets were beautiful and unlike any bouquets I had ever seen; the same goes for our reception flowers. I truly could not have been even an ounce happier with the beauty of our florals and working with Trang on our wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

If you are wondering if you should go with Vo Floral Design for floral decor, GO FOR IT! My small business florist friend recommended Vo Floral to me and I trusted him knowing he's in the business. And we were blown away! The floral decor was a big WOW factor at our wedding. The only thing I had in mind was cool tone theme for our wedding and Trang and the crew nailed it! All the bouquets were very full and well worth the money. Trang was very communicative, professional, and timely. She checked in prior to the wedding to make sure she had noted our vision and requests. My only regret is not renting their arch and going with our venue's arch. As you can see the venue's arch was very flimsy and couldn't hold the arch properly (bent out of the perfect circle shape due to the weight of the flowers.) In no way was that Vo Floral's fault, but a tip for anyone needing a flower arch. We got a ton of great photos in front of the flowers. I love looking back at the beauty of the flowers on our special day. Highly recommend this business! read more

We got married in October 2012 and hired Vo Floral Design to do our flowers. They were INCREDIBLE! We got SO many compliments on our flowers that I lost count. We went in with a few ideas and pictures and Trang ran with our ideas and created a masterpiece that was beyond our wildest dreams. Not only were our centerpieces absolutely gorgeous, but the cocktail tables, place card table, chuppah, aisle decor and bathroom arrangements were beautiful as well. Each arrangement was done with care and turned out beautifully on its own. And together, everything was picture perfect. Trang was willing to work within whatever budget we provided and she was prompt about returning my emails. She was so sweet and kind, and gave us great recommendations for other vendors as well. To anyone planning a wedding, I would recommend Vo Floral Design in a heartbeat. My only piece of advice when using Vo Floral Design as your florist would be to let them run with your ideas. Give them colors and a feel you would like and trust in their ability to do incredible things with flowers. You won't be disappointed. read more

We went with Trang after reading some reviews on Yelp and getting an initial quote, which was rather affordable for our requests.  First thing we noticed was that she was always timely and very easy to work with.  There were a few last-minute changes and requests we made and she was able to accommodate them all without issue, which was a huge thing due to all of the stress of planning a wedding on your own.  On the day of the wedding, the flowers were exactly what I envisioned for the entire thing, from the church to the reception.  It's been one of the things I'm very fond of whenever we look back on our wedding.  I was so happy with her services that months later, I went with her again for my sister's wedding.  I would not hesitate to go with her again if the need arises. read more

I had Trang secretly bookmarked when I saw her work in my friends weddings in previous years, I always loved how the flowers came out and her pricing was so reasonable. When it was my turn, I contacted her immediately and was sold after our meeting. Trang is incredibly attentive and took detailed notes of the vision that I had in mind for my wedding flowers. She is prompt with answering emails, and her professionalism and friendly demeanor made me really feel at ease. As the wedding date got closer, she would ask me about certain flowers that she happened to see at the flower mart that she felt complemented the feel of my bouquets - and I really appreciated her suggestions. When the big day arrived, I was really blown away. Trang executed my florals beautifully, and I received so many compliments regarding my flowers! She really went above and beyond with my bouquets and boutonnieres - adding extra special touches, and it really made my day that she went that extra mile. My original wedding was cancelled in Cabo last minute due to hurricane odile and changed the location to San Francisco last minute. Vo Floral Design - My beautiful bouquet from 1 on 1 workshop with Trang - Florists Near Me

My wife and I were determined to pull off a beautiful, intimate wedding & reception on a fairly small budget and I'm happy to say we did it! The two things we agreed to splurge a little on were the food and the flowers because we both agreed that great floral arrangements would really elevate the space and help set the mood. After looking through the portfolios of many florists in the Bay Area and setting up calls with a few of them, we decided to go with Vo Floral because of Trang's enthusiasm and her fairness. Some florists mandated that for a wedding, packages had to start at $5000! Sure, we wanted lots of flowers, but for a small reception in an already well-landscaped backyard, starting at that amount was really unreasonable. Luckily, with Trang we were able to work out a package that both fit our budget and would provide the appropriate amount of decor for our event. We ended up going with three hanging floral arrangements, four centerpieces for the dining tables, and a bouquet for my wife. Working with Trang was extremely easy, even though we had to do it remotely from Los Angeles, where we are based (we had the reception in Palo Alto). We shared with her our ideas and showed her photos of the backyard location, and then trusted her to create something wonderful--which she and her team absolutely did! They arrived exactly on time the day of the wedding & reception and were so warm, enthusiastic, and excited for us! And they did an amazing job. Our guests were swooning over the gorgeous arrangements, and people who've seen our wedding photos always comment on the beauty of the bouquet. I highly recommend Vo Floral. It's always a joy to work with good people who do good work--Trang is a wonderful, kind, talented person and her designs are sure to delight! read more

Trang did an amazing job on my wedding floral arrangements. Every single floral piece was gorgeous. If I could give her a 10 star instead of a 5 star I would. From the bouquets, boutonnières, table centerpieces, sweetheart table florals, cake and wedding ceremony florals. All of them were so beautiful! She captured my vision incredibly and she was such a pleasure working with. She was attentive to my questions and visual inspiration during our initial call. She made suggestions and recommendations to help me stay closer within my budget. We stayed in touch via email, text and phone calls and she followed up with me prior to the wedding day to confirm no further changes needed to be made. It was a delight working with Trang! She made this part of my wedding planning a breeze. We communicated through texts and emails the majority of the time, which made it more convenient and not always having to meet at her shop (which was very cute by the way). She definitely knows her flowers. Her team arranged all of my flower arrangements needed for my wedding in September. Everything was gorgeous, especially my Hugh flower wall and large ceremony assortments. She even supplied my cake with some of her flowers, without me even asking. She also supplied my guest with a wooden vase for those who wanted to take the centerpieces home, which was so thoughtful. Not to mention, she threw in a last minute request for a good sized foliage arrangment for my table seating chart. She's beyond amazing and talented! Love her! read more

This review is almost too easy to write. Vo Floral is fantastic, what else is there to say? Trang and Thuy did the flowers for our September 12th wedding at Palm Event Center. They did a phenomenal job - we absolutely loved everything, from the aisle covered in rose petals to the bouquets to the beautiful centerpieces. Vo Floral was great about accommodating any and all special requests we had (such as roses to give to our mothers as a first gift during our ceremony). They were also super flexible when I requested aforementioned aisle petals a week or two before the wedding. I also really liked that I didn't need to micromanage them throughout the process. I'm a perfectionist, but after seeing their work, I knew I could just give them my general vision and trust them to do their thing, and they sure did! I can't say enough great things about Vo Floral. Vo Floral Design - "Circle of love" - Florists Near Me

This review has nothing to do with Trang's work. This review is strictly based on our initial consultation and subsequent email exchange. I contacted Trang because I really liked the bouquets that she provided for a friend's wedding. Trang was very responsive to my initial request for a consultation. We spoke on Wednesday and I was able to arrange for a meeting on Sunday. I was very specific about my budget for flowers and what I would require for the wedding: bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and perhaps an arrangement for the foyer. She showed me pictures from her portfolio to confirm the vision. I left the meeting feeling confident that I found my florist. However two days later she emailed me a quote that was DOUBLE the budget I specified. When I called to follow-up, she noted that this was the price based on the pictures we reviewed. I understand that we looked at her portfolio but she should not have shown me those arrangements if she already knew that it would exceed my budget. She also noted that the vases were rentals and that I'd have to return them to her (no pick-up) Second point which irked me: She sent a follow-up email noting that another bride was requesting the same date. From speaking with many florists- they are able to book multiple weddings in a day. I took her email as an attempt to pressure me into committing and that left a bad impression. Her flowers are beautiful but her business model left much to be desired. read more

I am reviewing Vo Florist for the wedding they gave us a while back. First off, I was very upset that they did not offer us a 'throw bouquet' and offered merely to take some flowers off of our existing bouquet to 'help us' out. This was not acceptable to me and really messed up my mood on my wedding. So that's why I am subtracting one star. Other than that, they did provide through consultation with us during the flower selection process and were attentive. They do operate from their house which is a little strange but didn't bother me too much. They are expensive which is why I am subtracting another star. I paid, without table arrangements, around 6K. I do have to say they have beautiful arrangements and very professional looking. But if I could do it again, I would definitely consider alternatives & don't forget to get a throw bouquet because it wasn't offered to me. read more

Trang is so sweet and makes the floral portion of planning a wedding so easy. I would say her expertise is in mimicking designs you like. I showed her some of the flowers I liked and she came up with great arrangements. I think the more specific you are, the better. I wasn't too sure how I wanted the altar decorated, so she did it for me. It was pretty, but the colors in the picture wasn't exactly what I envisioned. But that was my fault because I didn't tell her. She definitely made my wedding all that much easier! Thanks Trang! I recommended her to like 10+ people! read more

I can't express enough how wonderful it was to work with Trang and her team! I wasn't trying to be a difficult bride... honestly! I absolutely loved the concept VO initially helped me come to for our wedding. Somewhere down the road, the wedding started getting pricer than I expected (as it normally does); and of course this reality didn't hit me until the last minute. When it was time for some budget control floral was the first to get hit. Since we had 11 bridesmaids we, gut wrenchingly, decided to cut the bridesmaid bouquets. My alternative (a single flower) was questionable at best, but we were going to roll with it. To our surprise, on the day of our wedding, Trang surprised us with an array of simple bouquets for my bridesmaids anyway. I couldn't believe it! Trang and her team went out of their way, to do something they DID NOT have to do, just to prove how special my wedding day was. Trang thank you so much for your generosity and support. Your service was more than I could've imagined. read more
