I stopped in while I was taking a walk in the neighborhood. Do you know what?! Flowers make you feel better during Covid, and they don't make you gain weight! I bet you know a ton of people who could use some cheering up. And unexpected bouquet of flowers is a great way to do that. I asked for a $20 bouquet, and these flowers lasted for a very long time, much longer than flowers from the grocery store. Korean-owned and run store in the Korean town part of Telegraph. Not only should we support our local restaurants, but we should support our local florists too.
I work for a greenhouse/florist/garden center myself and I generally hate the process of choosing floral arrangements for long-distance gifts to loved ones, because I can get easily frustrated. What happens with OTHER florists, is that often is billed as "guaranteed" same-day delivery, turns out to be days later once you've paid and checked out. And often the arrangements don't end up looking like the photo, not due to necessary replacement flowers, but just in overall quality. Sometimes they don't look like the same arrangement in the least bit. BUT, I spent a couple of hours searching the sites of florists in Oakland, and landed on Apple Blossom. SO glad I did. One change in arrangement was necessary and the florist contacted me directly and promptly for my preferences. It was delivered within 12 hours of the time I placed the order from across the country. And most importantly, the product was STUNNING and is even better than the photos I purchased from. My friend was blown away. The array of beautiful and unique arrangements made choosing difficult. THANK YOU!
A wonderful local gem! I was looking for same-day delivery options for a last-minute surprise, and Apple Blossom had plenty of beautiful arrangements available to shop on their website. I highly recommend browsing the different categories they have to see their selection of arrangements. The delivery was timely, and when the recipient didn't answer the door, Apple Blossom kindly stored the flowers in their refrigerator to keep them as fresh as possible. They were communicative with me and easy to work with. I'll definitely be ordering with them again for any future Oakland deliveries!
Received these beautiful flowers for my birthday from my boyfriend. He made a request to the florist and let them know my favorite color was blue and so they were able to make this beautiful arrangement for him. He was very happy with their level of professionalism, care, and communication. These are probably the most beautiful flowers I've ever received. I've also never received all blue flowers which were so pretty and vibrant. I also loved that it was wrapped in butcher paper which gave it a very rustic look. I made sure to dry these flowers upside down and now they hang in my living room as a wall decor and still are so pretty. I've also used this florist to deliver flowers to my school coworkers during Administrator Appreciation Day. They have a very easy to use website for online ordering and delivery during COVID as well.
Beautiful flowers and they do same day local delivery if order is made before 10am! Love the hand tied flower arrangement I ordered-lovely flowers and they let you specify flowers you like and don't like as well as color scheme. Great local business to support and price was reasonable for a fresh and lovely bouquet delivered to my door. Easy ordering online too! Would highly recommend.
Sheer happenstance is the reason Jamie W. and I found ourselves here last weekend. We were on the way to a memorial service in Pleasanton when I had suggested we get some flowers. It's the Japanese side of me, I can't help it, I need to bring something, especially when I don't even know who the dearly departed was. We were tooling around Oakland and expecting to stop by Lucky Florists near the MacArthur BART station. Alas, it was closed on an early Saturday afternoon. We kept going down Telegraph Avenue seeing all kinds of mortuaries, so we assumed we would find another florist. That's how we came upon Apple Blossom. While we weren't wildly impressed with their selection there, we told the resident florist our circumstance and looking to spend a set amount that was less than how much a more elaborate arrangement would have cost. I also thought in keeping with the somber tone of the event, we should stick with white and pale lavender flowers. With those directions, she pulled together a most attractive bouquet (see photo). I like the idea of supporting local businesses who are obviously plying their craftsmanship in neighborhoods that otherwise appear to be struggling economically. I say more power to them, and stop and smell the roses while you're at it.
Such an easy process ordering Mother's Day flowers! I picked an option from the website (which were very affordable) and was able to ask for a color scheme I wanted. I ordered these flowers for my Boyfriend's Grandma and she loved them. Even more beautiful than I could have imagined!
I live in San Diego and wanted to send my best friend in Oakland some support flowers- saw these guys on Yelp and got on their website - super easy process. I placed my order at like 10:30 and flowers were delivered at 3. I chose the "Designers choice" and she sent me a pic and it came out beautifully! Exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you Apple Blossom :D
Very happy with how both these arrangements turned out! Delivered as pictured on the website and my mother was thrilled!
My brother and I couldnt celebrate my Mom's birthday in person. We wanted to send something special and use a local business. We placed a delivery the night before with Apple Blossom and it arrived by lunchtime the next day. She was so happy to receive the flowers. I highly recommend working them!
First time customer here, I decided to send flowers to my wife at her work, and I wanted it same-day delivery, and I decided to give this florist a try, and I'm glad I did! The flowers were beautiful, my wife loved it, and the handwritten note was a lovely touch, at least for me! Most flower shops would just type it up, but there's always a special place in my heart for those who write it by hand!! Thank you so much!!!
I ordered and had it delivered to my friend who just came out from a surgery. Arrived as I requested and It made her smile and the flowers look so cute and beautiful!!! I love how they arranged the flowers! Now I found my florist for life! Thank you again for the beautiful flowers. If you want to make somebody happy I recommend this place! You will never regret!
My new go-to flower shop in Oakland! Such beautiful selection, and they were really helpful in creating a custom bouquet :). They put such care into arranging the flowers and putting in nice little touches throughout. The store also has really cute air plants, succulents, and bigger plants to choose from. I'll be back to get some more greenery for my living room! Everyone who works there is super kind and friendly (and they have the sweetest dog!). Can't wait til my next visit!

I ordered an orchid arrangement around 6pm on Friday, and it arrived before noon on Saturday in time for my friend's birthday party. It was even bigger than the online picture. Apple Blossom did a fabulous job and emailed me to let me know that they had been delivered. Excellent florist! read more

I truly cannot say enough good things about this floral shop. I placed my order late at night, and they delivered the flowers the very next morning, which already impressed me so much. I also accidentally gave the wrong delivery address, and even though that mistake was completely my fault, they went above and beyond to help me. They picked up the flowers from one location and redelivered them across town to the correct address, handling everything with so much care and attention. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. They kept me updated and made sure the flowers were delivered properly. The bouquet itself was absolutely stunning!! The quality, freshness, and detail were well beyond what I expected for the price. You can truly see the value in their work. Even with the additional redelivery fee, everything was more than worth it. The speed, professionalism, beautiful arrangements, and genuine care from the staff made this an exceptional experience. This is an amazing place to order from, and I will absolutely be ordering from them again! read more

Chun and Liz are amazing florists. I had the daunting task of planning someone's wedding in less than a month with a tight budget and the two of them came to my rescue. I had visited 3 other florists in the area before deciding on this place. Liz and Chun were the most helpful, experienced, and enthusiastic florists I have ever worked with in such a time crunch. Their designs are beautiful and in less than 1 hr we had gotten through picking every single piece for the wedding. Everything went great, flowers were delivered on time at the venue and were beautiful. We received so many great compliments on them at the wedding. They're great to work with and I'm happy to say that I love going back to them even for the occasional flowers for mom. read more

This review is long overdue...anyways, this place is definitely my go to flower shop if I want quality fresh flowers with the best staff around. I purchased a designer's choice hand-made bouquet for my boyfriend's mom who just got out of the hospital. I didn't know what specific flowers she liked so I described what kind of person she was to Liz, the head floral designer, and she had everything figured out. Her knowledge in flower arrangement is superb and reflects her 30 years of experience in this field. Liz is also the SWEETEST lady ever and if you need any clarifications, ask for Clara...she is so helpful and knowledgable! Second review, my boyfriend had flowers delivered to me a couple weeks ago to work and the arrangement was so pretty! It had a bunch of fresh flowers, all in purple (my favorite color), and the design was very creative and modern. Gave me the best feeling at work to receive such beautiful flowers! Boyfriend got something extra that night ;) P.s. People should understand that quality flowers are a luxury, which means they will be more expensive than other generic flower shops...and well deserved seeing how beautiful my arrangement was. read more

I needed a last minute same day delivery of flowers. Their website said orders must be received by 2.30pm that day to be processed. It was slightly after 2.30pm when I called. They answered straight away and had the bouquet delivered within the hour. They contacted the recipient and myself at time of delivery. They made a beautiful bouquet- and delivered within the hour- amazing! read more

From my email to these ladies (basically, they're the best you'll find): The rehearsal dinner flowers are probably the most amazing things that have ever happened to me. They were maybe even more beautiful than I imagined, and I don't know how to thank you enough. You made my rehearsal dinner beautiful, and for an affordable price for an educator like me, and for that I will be a loyal customer FOREVER! My only regret is having contracted with a different florist for tomorrow's big event before finding you two. Much much MUCH love. THANK YOU APPLE BLOSSOM!! read more

My boyfriend ordered the most beautiful bouquet I've ever received from this location. He knows my favorite flower is stargazer lily but I was totally surprised by the assortment of lilies, roses, thistle and other plants/flowers (I don't recognize) that gave the bouquet an asymmetrical, unique and artistic touch. I'm so thrilled and so is he. I think you just acquired a loyal fan. Thank you for the care and consideration! read more

My boyfriend order some flowers for me and he paid over $50 for a bouquet that looks like I could buy it from a grocery store for $15. Doesn't look anything like any of the lovely arrangements online. Very sparse and cheap looking. Will stick to BloomThat or brothers and sisters...at least they are consistent. read more
