4.2/5 does not mean their pho is any good. The broth had an off taste so I thought I could fix it with limes and hoisin sauce, but the hoisin sauce also had a similar off taste. Spring rolls were ok but peanut sauce was bland. Ordered wings too and they had the SAME off taste but it was more bearable. I couldn't finish any of it. The menus are stacked by the cashier and I just ordered at the front then grabbed my seat. The lady working was extremely helpful and informative. She let me know that I can order ahead for dine-in, in the future if time was ever going to be an issue. She was attentive toward 2 other patrons there in which she maintained safety for herself and for the patrons by making sure they had a DD and refusing more alcoholic purchases due to intoxication. I don't go to bars or clubs so idk if this is normal but I respect how she handled a situation in a preventative manner. (R25) Lemongrass Pork w/ Shrimp & Egg 2/5: The meat was marinated but it tasted like it had been in the fridge for a few days and the flavor had lost its peak taste. If you understand, you understand haha. It wasn't overdue but the lemongrass didn't taste lemongrass-y and only a slight sweetness. I didn't specify how I liked my egg and it was overcooked. The salad and cucumber tasted fresh and the shrimp was just salted shrimp. The nuoc man (fish dipping sauce) was the right balance of sweet and savory - solid. The portion was just right at $16.50. Chili peppers: Both condiments are made in house. The fresh chili pepper is spicy and they either hit it with some fish sauce and lime, spiked it with some Tabasco, or all of the above - interesting and I kinda liked the switch up. The chili oil wasn't very fragrant but it was enough to know that it was homemade. The glassware was pretty icky and dirty. It's a small hole in the wall bar w/ lottery. It feels very local and the dish I got tasted very homely, this coming from a person who grew up in a Asian household. If you are looking for a spot in Gresham that has attentive, friendly staff, okay viet food with a relaxed, comforting ambiance then this could be your new go to spot. read more

This place was outstanding. The waitstaff were incredibly kind and the food is so flavorful. My husband had the special of the day for Pho and I had the vegetarian. Friendly staff and service. Food was kinda mid though. Avocado shake was not as sweet as I would have liked. Only late night Vietnamese food around Gresham so that is a plus if you are craving Vietnamese food. I would go here if you are in Gresham and craving Vietnamese food late at night. I've only come here for boba because we don't have a lot of options for boba in Gresham. But i have been coming here for awhile... just got around to reviewing. The location is clean and they're open really late... when i came awhile ago it was Tuesdays buy 2 get 1... not sure if that's still the case because it's Saturday night. It's a small place but kept well. I really should try to eat here sometime because it's a great menu. There's also a full bar... I will be back for that. For now I'm going to rate on the boba drinks. I tend to go overboard with boba drinks. Its one of the only places i know that still has honeydew smoothies... so that's awesome but honestly they have a ton of flavors which is great. Quite a few options for jellies and boba too. I almost always get a mango green tea with mango jelly... today i also got a Thai tea with boba... pineapple smoothie with pineapple jellies... and guava with lychee jellies.. as well as a honeydew smoothie. No they were not all mine... but don't judge lol They're currently $6. The menu is a bit deceiving because it appears that boba is included but it isn't is $.50 extra. The menu doesn't indicate that but ok. The gentleman that was here at the beginning was an owner and he was very knowledgeable about boba. The lady today was not but i worked with her. I'll be back but I'm so used to boba in San Diego and Hawaii up here just doesn't have it all quite yet. This is the place for options and flavors for sure!!!! read more

A tiny place with few tables but we had a good hot meal here. The gal behind the bar (where you place your order before sitting down) was friendly and intent on pleasing. She is not a bartender however even though the place seems to have a full bar. My man had the last drop of gin, in his gin and tonic and I had a margarita. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari which we added some hot oil to and it was very good. He had chicken fried rice and enjoyed it. I ordered beef pho which for a Floridian visiting the damp and cool NW hit the spot. I needed some warmth! If Pho is what you want I can recommend this place. read more

My wife and I tried VN Fusion for the first time recently for lunch. We accessed the menu on Yelp (which was really easy) and called in our pickup order. My wife got one of the beef Pho soups (not sure which) and I got the chicken pad thai. Yes...I got pad thai at a Vietnamese restaurant. I'm not a fan of Pho and wanted to try it. My wife liked the Pho pretty well, and she is kind of picky. She said the broth was good. I thought their pad thai was pretty passable. I've definitely had better, but I've also had worse pad thai AT a Thai restaurant. There isn't a lot of good Pho options in the Gresham area. This was our first time here and we will be back. At first we were a little annoyed that we were not acknowledged when we walked in and awkwardly stood by the counter for a few minutes not knowing what the procedure was to order and be seated. Like I said - first time there. Eventually we ordered and the guy (owner?) still wasn't really friendly and we felt uncomfortable that we may have made a mistake choosing to come here. But the Yelp reviews are so good we decided to stick it out. Glad we did! The food was fantastic. We ordered the crispy egg rolls, glass noodles with chicken and glass noodles with shrimp. Delicious! I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family, Jason, Tony and Rose. They were so nice and welcoming. They have only been open for 3 weeks at this location. There was a good selection of food and beverages including bubble tea.They said they have a food cart on 82nd at Cartlandia that has been open for several years. They are currently working at getting video lottery installed. Yay. The food was delicious. We all shared several dishes and thought each one was great, but for us the stars of the show were the carmelized chicken wings which had a peppery fishy carmalized sauce which was adjusted to our heat preference. We got mild because my Mom cant handle too much heat and it was perfect. My other favorite was the wonton soup. They make thier own dumplings and you could tell ths broth was made with love. It had shrimp, slices of meat, veggies and thin egg noodles. The best wonton soup I have had in a long time. Along with these good tasting dishes we also ordered a lemon grass bahn mi sandwich, calamari appitizer and shrimp noodles with spring roll. Glad to have this wonderful family open up near me. Stopped here for a quick bite after a concert. Wasn't sure to expect but when we walked in there was a ton of energy...it is a bar after all. Greeted right away, they offered to clear a table but we opted to sit outside. Ordered quickly and the food came out just as fast. We ordered the chicken fried rice and a vegetarian phō with salad rolls. Both our entrees were AMAZING. I could smell the cloves before I even sipped the broth, which is something I can't say for many places (thanks to the chef again!). Our server informed me that it's best to take the noodles out of the broth when taking to go and offered me a little broth on the side for when I finished my leftovers. They serve my most favorite Banh Mi WITH pork belly AND an over easy egg on top. The bread is friggin amazing... right from somebody's bakery. And ya, did I forget to mention the pork belly!! My own belly loved it! The location is meh as it is in this little mini mall type affair and the parking is almost scary. There's a bar across the street that seems pretty active. When you go in it's REALLY small. Mostly you get to go food but we really like the friendly employees and we are too hungry to take it home so we tend to eat there instead. They've got a little bar with not a lot to choose from but they serve alcohol so there's that too. Best of all they serve until 11PM!!! I have had their Pho as well and the broth is very good. So.... we stoped by here since we were in the area and it had killer reviews. Although the service was good, (adorable elder Asian lady cooking and greeting !:), the food did not live up... The bar was smaller then we were expecting, super casual vibe. No issues there, just divier then expected. A few screens for sports fans ! :) Pricing - amazingly good prices tho. Damn, Hard to beat $3 beers for happy hour and all the menu items were priced pretty low. We ordered quite a few things to share : Firstly, off the happy hour menu-- bbq pork (this could be confused for thick turkey ? ,not a lot of flavor), caramelized chicken (again not a lot of flavor, I was expecting it to be sweeter), egg rolls (nothing special here, frozen store bought is comparable... ), vermicelli bowl (definitely the best food item we had). Chicken was as expected for a teriyaki flavor, bowl came with an array of veggies, cold noodles and couple classic sauces. Overall, price was hard to touch compared to other places with similar food offerings I've been to (edible) , but we probably won't come back for food unless I am starving and there's nothing else better around or open . Awesome neighborhood spot! It's been around for a while and for good reason; the food is excellent, the staff is great, and the vibe is very chill. The fact of them being open until the AM is awesome as well, as those pho cravings can come at any time haha! Speaking of, Lynn is a godsend! When doordash wasn't doing delivery for the night at this location, she took it upon herself to drop off our food on her way home! We go so lucky and she was willing to plug us:) make sure to tip here, they deserve it. So far I've tried the pho, pad Thai, Thai iced tea, salad rolls, and banh mi; all were sensational.
