We had to be there 30 minutes before the movie was to start, so my sister and I we got a good layout of the land and we pretty much stayed till 6 o'clock. Fun was had by all. it was quite interesting to learn that you can order food from your seats, even during the movie. There was 2 issues where they brought my fries, but they were cold. They replaced them with hot fries and didn't charge me, my granddaughter didn't get her pop so I had to hunt them down and they didn't charge us for the missing drink, because it was missed. I like the fact, they were attentive to us, and that they were very acknowledgable and friendly.

It was so relaxing walking around the different buildings and taking in all the nature. We all enjoyed the train ride and surprisingly, the free amusement rides. And it was fun. We rode the train, rode in the wagon pulled by a tractor, went into houses, learned at the print shop and the oil well, and interacted with the actors. And of course we started at Gasoline Alley. Gasoline Alley has plenty of cars, but I was fascinated by the collection of work trucks and gasoline pumps. And there were plenty of volunteers there to explain the exhibited vehicles and ancillary items. We are an excellent lunch in the cafe.

Circle The Wagons just might be my new favourite festival in Calgary. A healthy, family friendly…read moremusic and food truck festival and it doesn't even have a beer gardens because the whole place is the beer gardens! Hold up you conservative types, this is actually what makes circle the wagons so healthy and family friendly. Instead of binge drinking in a beer gardens cage away from the music, you can buy a drink and casually walk around and enjoy the entire festival. This is the first day long music festival of my life where I didn't see anyone that was out of control. Instead of a beer gardens, there was an off-leash gardens for dogs. It was great. Puppies everywhere, kids every where, and people getting along together and enjoying the sunshine. A giant ring of food trucks, still serving their full size portions makes me feel like a music festival with food, as opposed to a food truck festival with music, where hopefully I'd get the chance to try multiple trucks providing samples, but that's AOK. There was more than enough excellent entertainment around to not have the trucks be the centre of attention. Beach Volleyball (being kid friendly became more of a giant sandbox for the children) and bubble soccer, which unfortunately I didn't play. Stage was great and the sound was awesome. There were plenty of circus and festival performers doing there thing. It's so cool to see the larger Calgary community showing interest in our local burner scene. What a lush and beautiful garden, unlike anything I've personally ever seen, right inside a…read moreshopping center. People were seated having lunch, conversations, reading quietly. Meandering around looking at the ponds, fish, plants and other water features gives a sense of peace in a busy shopping environment. Very unique and lovely space.

Love the different textures and blooms. Signage is available to let you know what you are looking at. Some excellent spots for taking photos or selfies. The many people I saw, individuals, couples and families were all enjoying the chance to spend some time indoors (it was a little chilly outside) but still be in nature. Nice :)
