Wow these are some harsh reviews. .. Anyway, I purchased the Groupon Coupon. Made my appointment, Yes my appointment was scheduled very far out (2+ weeks!) but I wasn't in a hurry to get them done. Day of the appointment, I was a bit lost/confused as to where she was located. There were multiple offices in building. I finally found it, was greeted but waited a few minutes (my appointment time was now being used) After a few minutes of the previous client leaving she took me in. She listened to what exactly I'm looking for & I loved my finished look. I have paid triple somewhere else, more upscale & HATED IT. She did exactly what I wanted...natural but flirty look. She did give me a little TMI about her husband & family/life but whatever lol...it could've been a lot worse. It's nice to have a little girl talk. Plus I was in & out fairly quickly..maybe 35 -40 minutes MAX ... I would absolutely go back..! read more

Vlashed - Lashes, about 1 week after service... - Waxing Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I had a pleasant experience with Valencia when she did my lashes for a wedding/vacation back in April. I purchased a Groupon and scheduled an appointment about two months in advanced so I did not have any scheduling issues. She asked me what I wanted, I explained I wanted a natural look and I got exactly what I wanted! They were perfect!!! That was my third time getting my lashes done ever (I only do them for special occasions/ and sometimes holidays) so I did not have much to compare it too, but I knew I was very happy with them. I am just now leaving a review because I went somewhere else ( also a Groupon deal) to get my lashes done for the Thanksgiving holiday and am just realizing exactly how great of a job Valencia did! My lashes with this most recent set/new person was falling off within a week. I did not use any oils, mascara and did not get them wet so they were just poorly installed. With Valencia, I had them on from close to a month without any issues! Anyway, I purchased another Groupon for her and will be using her in the future. She is very skilled at lashes. Regarding professionalism, she was on the phone the entire time but I did not mind. I am not much a talker and did not want to engage in small talk anyway. I put on my headphones and listened to Beyoncé while she worked. Overall, I would recommend! read more

Valencia is amazing. Love how she does my lashes. They look beautiful! She's very thorough and attentive to what I was looking for with my lash look. I will definitely go back! Thanks Valencia! read more

Been wanting to get lash extensions so my husband bought me a Groupon and I love them! I told her I wanted them to look natural, not super fake and she did just that! I've been getting compliments on them all day - everyone thought I just had mascara on. Sending you some referrals girl! Thank you again!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I had confirmed appointment today, and when I showed up on time she barely looked up from her client she was working on to say I must be early? I told her I was on time per the text and email confirmation ,as I scheduled online(only way to schedule as she never returned my 3 voicemails) She said"whatever, and she would be another 20 minutes as the current client showed up late".I sat in the reception area while she was laughing with the client. After 20 minutes passed, it was obvious she wasn't near being done so I asked her how much longer and she said she didn't know? She was rude and couldn't bother to even offer up any professional respect ...couldn't believe it! I asked for a refund and she told me to take it up with Groupon. I think I dodged a bullet! read more

This was a very odd experience. The owner and service provider really needs to learn some professionalism. When I walked in, I felt like I was bothering her from her TV show she was watching on her computer. While I was filling out paperwork, she was ordering food on the phone. During the process, she was pushing down so hard on my forehead it made my neck ache. The whole time she was working on me, she was watching NCIS and making comments about it. Not once did she make any small talk with me, only talked at the TV. Just a very unprofessional environment and this woman doesn't seem to know how to interact with people. I would not recommend it. read more

I LOVE MY LASHES!! This is my second time going to Valencia and I am SO happy I did. My first set of lashes were given to me as a gift and I loved them so much. I did exactly as she instructed (no oil makeup remover, try not to get them wet, brush them once a day) and they seriously lasted me over a month. NO JOKE. I went in today and reminded her how long it had been since my last visit and she even was impressed with how many I had left. Ofcourse, I love that I got them redone today because they look AMAZING. She gives me the exact look I want even though I don't know the proper terminology. She is awesome! I seriously recommend going to Valencia for your lashes!! read more

Valencia is a very talented professional! I love everything about my first experience at Vlashed...great lashes! Woohooo

I purchased a Groupon for eyelashes, and would not recommend this service. The owner/service provider was rude over the phone when I called to schedule the appointment, and she didn't have much availability even a few weeks out. Her office/service area was messy and smelled strongly of fried food. There was no greeting or reception upon arrival. My overall experience was bad and the environment was simply unprofessional. read more

Worst eyelash experience, located inside a counseling center, rude practitioner, used acetone to clean my lashes. Burned & irritated my skin & eyes. When she was done i could barely open my eyes they were watering and burning so bad, the lashes lasted a couple days (started falling off before i even left the parking lot of the place) and were so sparse, it was not worth the time or torture. Don't go here. read more

Totally awesome ! My lashes look amazing! Valencia does a great job , probably the most comfortable I've been while getting lashes , no pinching or stinging. I got exactly what I wanted, the look I wanted , perfect! Relaxed environment! read more

I have been going to Valencia for 3 years and not once have i ever had an experience like these reviews talk about. I came to her because I had a TERRIBLE experience in a Tempe salon. She does an amazing job and my lashes have totally recovered from my first experience. She taught me how to keep my lashes clean and gives me great advice on how to keep them strong. I'm in and out in less than 30 minutes! I mean...she won 3rd place in a national competition so obviously she's amazing! read more

horrible experience. in addition to the ridiculously unprofessional environment (baby in portable crib, owner watching netflix on ipad at my head), lashes were not applied to each individual lash (customary everywhere else) but instead 3-5 lashes were applied at a time to some of my lashes. the glue was so thick and noticeable whenever i blinked or shut my eyes. it felt like crusty balls of sleep which i obviously couldn't wash away. the reason it only takes her 45 minutes to apply a full set of lashes is because she doesn't apply them to every lash. other lash companies instruct you to expect 90 - 120 minutes for a full application and if you're willing to wait that long, you'll leave with a much more natural, longer lasting, non clumping set of lashes. these lashes looked and felt horrible. some were actually glued directly to my eyelid. after about 7 - 10 days, the lashes started falling out...in clumps. i hate groupon because of this experience however they credited back my $69. i'm guessing they credited me so quickly because they've had many, many negative reviews of Vlashed. do yourself and what's left of your lashes a favor and go somewhere else because after a visit here, you will hate how your lashes look and feel. read more

AWEFUL. I booked an appointment online at V Lashed website and personally spoke to the woman (owner) over the phone, and she confirmed my appointment but when I drove 30 mins to my appointment she tells me she is booked and that I couldn't have made the appointment. I showed her my email confirmation and she proceeds to argue with me. Instead of being polite and apologising she was rude, degrading and argumentative. She treated me like I wasn't important because I had a Groupon and she had her "REGULAR CLIENTS" today. I told her that I also, talked to her over the phone and she said "Well I was on vacation." But, I explained she confirmed my appointment time anyway and she continues to tell me it's still not her fault because she was on "vacation." CLASSLESS, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE and the place looked like a CHEAP HOLE. I'm glad I didn't let her touch my eyes. read more

I've called 3 times to make an appointment here. Every time the same person answers the phone and is so rude, I hope that's not the owner. Each time I've tried to make an appointment she tells me she's booked months out and that's it. She doesn't try to schedule me when she does have availability, that's just the end of the call. I would recommend NOT buying the Groupon because it will expire before you get to use it. read more

There's only 1 star and 5 star ratings on here which was confusing to me before my appointment but now I understand -- basically, Valencia is pretty unprofessional and can come across as rude and impatient but she's good at what she does and will definitely leave you with a great look. The office is pretty shabby, it doesn't seem to be a truly organized business, and they will make you wait for a while. Plus, her bedside manner leaves much to be desired and she doesn't try to make you feel comfortable at all, really. Still, if you describe to her exactly what you want she will make it happen for you in an hour or less and the lashes stay on for a good two weeks. I wouldn't recommend this place but I'm happy with my lashes that she did for me. read more

I have been to Vlashed twice. Once for the initial appointment and then for the follow up fill in. Both experiences were fine. I loved the outcome of my lashes each time. I have not had an issue with fall out or eye irritation. I heard about the company through Groupon. I highly recommend Vlashed. read more
