The $9.99 breakfast! Scrambled eggs mixed right before landing on the grill!…read more Most fabulous breakfast available, anywhere. Fresh sourdough toast! Bruce's sells the best fresh salmon! I picked up the sweetest filet. Their single-smoked salmon is perfection. The "fish bar" is worth the drive out to this location. The salmon dip sells out every day! Bruce's is fishing family owned and operated for four generations. The grocery section yields locally blended herbs and spices at great prices. Fruits and veg are fresh and tasty. The bakery will cause drooling. And check the freezer section for Bruce's homemade ice cream. Sea Cider from Vancouver Island is always on the shelf. Rogers Chocolates! Now with the pet and farm store opened next door, you can pick up provisions for your furry family, and wonderful plants for your balcony or yard. Lots of parking. Easy filtered left turn off Lougheed highway.

He got the roast beef on sourdough with everything but tomato. It was a pretty solid sandwich, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. I wanted the shrimp with avocado which they ended up being out of, so I opted for the smoked salmon instead. Okay, now this sandwich was definitely worth the hype. Smoked in-house, the fish tasted super fresh and there was a lot of it on my toasted sourdough. I paired it with fresh sprouts, iceberg lettuce, and tomato, making for one hell of a sandwich at $7.99 - I'll definitely be back for this, along with Bruce's other seafood offerings. So, why the three stars? Service here is SO excruciatingly slow. There were six deli attendants working, all of who despite acknowledging our presence, decided that prepping tomorrow's salads was infinitely more important than serving customers. I attempted to order, gave my boyfriend my order as I needed a bathroom break, browsed the store quickly and returned only to find they still hadn't taken our orders lol. They also didn't bother calling our names out once our sandwiches were ready (why ask even?) so our food was just sitting there for awhile. I get that Bruce's probably has a lot of seasonal hires, but the overall experience suffers if your customer service is this lacking.

Gratia seemed like a popular cafe on weekends. There were lots of customers when I got there around 1PM. We ordered Matcha Raspberry croissant ($6.75), large drip coffee and latte. Drip coffee tasted bit bitter. I had to wait in line while staff were busy helping customers. Latte was good, but Matcha Raspberry croissant was too sweet. I didn't know the washroom was at the back at the rear side. Because the cafe was very busy, there was no toilet paper when I walked into the washroom. Staff were very nice and helpful, but my personal experience was just okay. I could've got something better than Matcha Raspberry Croissant. Besides all the staff were too busy and had no time to check or clean the washroom.

More than just a sandwich shop!!…read more Healthy choice for a bite when running errands in the day. Grabbed A turkey on cranberry sourdough with a side salad. Super tasty and fresh and the side salad was also notable a nice variety of greens. My shopping partner had great things to say about her bacon & potato (Panini?) Accompanied by a couple of lattes to finish off this great experience. Helpful and friendly staff during a busy time. ....and let's not forget the fresh bread made in house. Such a variety and NO SUGAR ADDED. Tried a loaf of the rye and a loaf of walnut raisin. Both made excellent sandwiches at home. So fresh!!

Hay, hot drinks, and pumpkins all around makes it feel like the start of the cozy season. We spent our time at the North patch. Parking was easy as there were attendants to direct customers to empty spots. Once inside, there were a decent amount of farm animals to look at (e.g. goats, sheep, rabbit, chickens, cats, dogs, donkeys). I was surprised to see some cats in cages, but they were chilling and napping. Their space looked clean so it seemed they were well taken care of. There were a number of play areas, a wagon ride, two corn mazes, a forest mini trail with displays, an obstacle course, a concession stand and lastly, a huge pumpkin patch. We bought lunch at their concession. The prices were okay. The food quality was that of a grocery store. My only complaint was that they did not have enough cold drinks. They have a normal sized fridge and the drinks did not stay long enough in the fridge to get chilled. My child really enjoyed the activities and we went on the wagon ride a number of times. We picked out two pumpkins to take home. Overall, we spent a small fortune. It was $12 a person for admission, plus the cost of food and pumpkins. We spent a couple hours there. I think it was worth it for a once a year experience for the children.
