SO...I scoured the Internet and am SO SO SO thankful that I found Tomek. I spoke with several other artists and am so thrilled that I chose Tomek. He was prompt with the return calls, he was prompt with the job review and estimate and he was super communicative about his schedule, timing and expectations. He repaired and blended a wall in my bedroom to perfection. You cannot tell (and I am picky) where the old and new work meet. Seriously!! He painted and treated a LARGE cabinet in the family room to match the woodwork already established and it IS impressive!! Really is the centerpriece of the Family Room. He finished off with a complete makeover of the Laundry Room. Beautiful simple clean walls to match the "stainless steel" treatment he did on the cabinets. Tomek is not afraid to try something new and listen to wacky homeowner ideas, at the same time Tomek will reign you in helping to decide on perfection!! Tomek finishes on time and always leaves his area super tidy!! PLUS he is VERY VERY reasonably priced. Hes a keeper!!

The value of his service far exceeded the cost of the project. His crew spent the better part of three days prepping; they were very detail oriented and took ownership of the project. In the painting industry, the quality of the paint job comes down to how well the surface is prepped. The end product was superb. Once the painting was completed, Miguel scheduled a walk thru the next day to make sure everything was up to par. Only after was I completely satisfied did Miguel accept my payment. Our maple kitchen cabinets were 20 years old with the lower cabinet doors and drawers water damaged…read moreand darkened by sun and use. You could see a distinct "tan" line on the cabinet frames showing the original maple color protected by the door or drawer front and the darker shade of the unprotected surfaces. We got several estimates with Miguel's being the most reasonable. To help with our decision, he offered to refinish a door for no cost to let us see the results. He took the most water damaged door in the kitchen to his shop and two days later returned it looking like a brand-new door, the cracks, water damage and darkening gone with the original maple color completely restored. We scheduled the job and Miguel arrived as promised. All the doors were numbered and removed, and two other team members stayed the rest of the day to refinish the cabinet frames. They were careful to prep the kitchen with tape, protected the floors with heavy paper, and even used plastic sheeting to block off the kitchen from the rest of the house to contain any dust. At the end of the day, the frames were sanded and refinished, the original maple color restored. They cleaned up and left without us needing to do any cleaning. Two days later, Miguel and team returned to install the restored doors. The doors looked like new and were reinstalled with a lot of attention to ensuring they were aligned with the frames. The maple colors on the doors and frames matched perfectly. Could not have been happier with Miguel and this team's skill, communication, and professionalism.

Scraped and sanded all the peeling paint, filled all the holes and cracks in the siding and stucco, primed all the bare wood, metal and stucco, replaced the loose window glaze. Used Kelly Moore premium paints: low sheen for the stucco, eaves and trim with semi-gloss for the door. The work itself: Blakemore Painting did an excellent job! Regio came out to give me an estimate. I had 4 estimates and had narrowed it down to 2 contractors. I checked out both sets of references. Regio's references told me they had had work done over the years by Blakemore and how Regio really went the extra mile for customer satisfaction. I decided on Blakemore because I felt Regio was personable, professional, and a customer advocate. He helped me pick out some different color schemes and then painted sample areas on my back door so I could see how the color choices would look together. He also answered all my questions and gave advice when I asked for it. The painting job took 4 days. They had to do quite a bit of prep work, getting rid of the old wasp nests underneath the eaves, removing the old caulking from the windows, sanding down the wooden windows ledges. Plus, the previous color was a dark muddy brown, so they primed and did 2 coats of paint for the exterior (Dry Sage for the walls and Swiss Coffee for the trim). I also had a Poppy Flower (red) color for the door, so they did several coats to cover; Regio did tell me that red has a tendency to fade faster due to the elements, but I really wanted a red door, so that was fine with me. The reglazing requires setting for 2 weeks, so they will come back afterwards to smooth it out and paint it. (Don't let anyone tell you they can glaze and paint in a couple of days. You will end up with cracks and an uneven surface.) Regio even installed my new elevated house numbers, which look like they are "floating" for a nice effect. He also put up a new door kickplate, which will add interest to the house. I'm very happy with the results and very glad I went with Blakemore Painting. I highly recommend them!
