My sister and I went into Vixen Nails & Spa as walk-ins on a tuesday afternoon. The website mentioned that they allowed walk-ins, and since this was a weekday and an off time, we thought we were good to go. When I walked in, the spa was absolutely empty. The woman working there barely looked up from what she was doing. She came over a couple minutes later, looking very irritated and asked what I wanted. I asked for their spa pedicures. She tells me she's too busy and will not be able to. I told her my sister and I are willing to wait and don't mind if our pedicures are not done together. She rolled her eyes at me and said "do you want me to show you my schedule or something? I can't do it. I don't know what you want me to say". I'm sorry for trying to give this place my business. There are a couple other nail salons in this plaza that are much more welcoming. Don't waste your time here. read more

I completely disagree with the reviewer who gave this place only 1 star. This is hands down my favourite place for treatments in Milton. I have been a customer since day 1, and while they have had some staff changes while opening up their Mississauga location, everyone who works here is professional and courteous. I also know that the owner is fantastic, and I'm sure if you didn't enjoy your experience she would want to make it right. Overall great quality services for very affordable prices, a chic atmosphere and lovely staff!! Doesn't get any better than this. read more

I have booked waxing services here a few times in the past and had fantastic experiences! However the latest experience left much to be desired, missed patches on my legs. Patches or wax applied and not removed until I pointed them out. When I asked about missed areas it was clear that the staff did not want to fixed them, and close attention was not a priority. I have had no trouble with manicures here but waxing services leave much to be desired. *UPDATE* Since having a wax at vixen I got home and noticed two weird red patches on my leg. Nowhere else, however they were both in locations that the staff left wax on and did not remove it until I asked. In regards the to comment about me not being a client, I have booked services with Vixen online and have an account. I can pull up history of all my visits, I will not be visiting again or recommending Vixen. read more

Great service! When you come in for a treatment, i.e pedicure the staff offers a beverage while you wait in your comfortable massaging chair. There are two large screen tvs hanging from the wall, plenty of magazine and a clean and relaxing atmosphere. The workers are very nice but also respectful if you are just there to sit back and relax, so they won't talk your ear off..unless you want to of course. Prices are very competitive too and they do a fabulous job! The only reason its not a 5 star rating is because I have only gotten pedicures so I am not familiar with all of the services they offer and the level of quality. I would assume they would be quite good though based on my experience. read more

Good spot for quick mani-pedi. This place is quite basic but very efficient. If you want a "spa" experience, this isn't the place. But if you want to be in and out in less than 90 minutes then you found the place. They are well staffed and get the job done. read more

I've been on two separate occasions. The first time was pedicure only and my aesthetician did an amazing job. I was really happy with the service! The second time around was a bit different. I booked a mani-pedi for last Saturday for 9:30. First, your aesthetician was 10 min late. Not a huge deal, but quite unprofessional in my opinion. My pedicure was just as good as the last one but when we moved onto my manicure is when things went a bit awry. Your aesthetician cut two of my cuticles too short causing them to bleed. Overall the job she did was a bit sloppy and my nails didn't really look any nicer or that I'd even had a professional manicure. A waste of money in my opinion. Also, there seems to be some personal issues with two of your staff. When she finished applying the polish to my nails, she and another girl excused themselves to have a discussion outside. Really? After about 15 awkward minutes of me sitting there, alone, my aesthetician comes back in, crying and rushes to the back and so another girl came to apply the drops and basically ushers me out the door to pay, but not before I pay $50 for this "experience". Most salons offer deals for mani-pedis, you might want to consider doing the same. I don't visit nail salons to take part in or experience drama. Considering there are 3 other salons alone in that plaza, I think I'll try my luck elsewhere next time. read more

My favourite nail place in Milton. I love the online booking feature, and they are very welcoming, they gave me a nice green tea. The place is also super clean, they don't reuse supplies like nail buffers or files which is ++++++ in my book. only reason i ducked a star off is because its very overpriced compared to other places in the same plaza. The reason for that could probably be the fact that they charge you the price of the disposable items they use on you. read more

I took my mom and sister to get mani's and pedies here and I got a set of gel nails. My gel nails looked terrible after 2 days and came off after 5. 2 fingers were also shaped different then the rest. My sisters shellac mani had to be redone bc the girl doing it the first time ruined it. The pedicures were nice. The atmosphere is great, very posh looking and staff is nice and friendly. Be aware if you get a new staff member, make sure you get what you pay for bc my mom received a completely different experience then myself or my sister and we payed for the same package. read more

Would highly NOT recommend: Bad Points: - Very snooty staff with big attitude, acting like they are better than you and that prefer to watch TV than have any type of conversation with customers (BTW - I experienced that same attitude when trying to book appointment over the phone...) - I was NOT offered anything to drink, like its mentioned by other people here. - This small place is in a serious need of at least partial paint job and some good cleaning - The table I was sat at, was dirty and had many sticky coffee/tea ring stains on the customer side... - I have to say - this was the 2nd WORST manicure I have ever had in last 20 years. Cuticles were BARELY removed . I can do a better job myself.... Even though I asked the girl to fix it and cut more, she said she won't- because she's afraid of cutting me and making me bleed. All other places I have been to have never had that issue and never made me bleed and my cuticles looked 1000 times better than this... If she can't cut cuticles properly, then she is just not good at her job... - The French Manicure I got is a joke!!! Prob worst I ever had and costed me $5 extra! It's all crooked, not finished in "corners", and very chunky (tips are thicker than rest of nail). Not to mention - she told me half way through the process that the thicknesses of each line may vary .... WHATT??? LOL !!!.... Isn't the whole point of her "expertise" to make them all look same?? I'm not expecting miracles, but I had to make her redo a few, to make them "seem" straight and same size... Of course followed by more attitude and still not right! - And then there is the price!!! Almost $50 for a VERY CRAPPY Shellac Manicure! WOW!!! Other - better places, who do MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better job - with better attitude- charge that $$ for French Shellac Manicure AND a Pedicure! Good Points: - They take out brand new set of "tools" for each customer and ask If you want to keep the buffer and nail filer after - Not a bad general design/feel of space, but is in need of good cleaning and refresh on dirty/chipped paint I am definitely not going back there again and would discourage anyone from trying this place.
