In late October of 2021 I was waiting for my 2022 M5 CS to be released from the port, and so I used this time to order some parts I wanted for my build. I own a personal BMW M instagram channel that I was excited to show off my build. So I purchased exhaust, carbon fiber intake, secondary downpipes, and some cosmetic parts for my incoming car from Vivid Racing. I was shopping around for the best price on my favorite exhaust for the F90, the Akrapovic evolution titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tips. I was quoted $7,200 from Vivid Racing and before I pulled the trigger, I verified with the rep through email (please find proof of email attached) Chris Ckolodzinki, if this price includes the carbon fiber tips, and he verified that yes this price includes the carbon fiber tips. So I thought about it and decided to move forward with the purchase. He said it would be about a 8-10 week turnaround time. Fast forward 14 weeks later the exhaust was delivered to the shop that would do my install. So I was very happy, but then come to find out the carbon fiber tips were not in the package. So I emailed back my rep Chris, and told him that the tips are missing and inquired about when will these be shipped? He then called me back when I wasn't able to answer and he left a voicemail with some story that it's partially his fault, and when the tips are ordered normally they let him know if it comes with the tips, however this part number doesn't come with the carbon fiber tips, but "GOOD NEWS" if I wanted the tips they are in stock but I had to pay for them. (Please find transcript of voicemail attached) I was like WTF??? So now I'm pissed, because we agreed on the $7,200 plus tax which included shipping and the carbon fiber tips. In my frustration I look back to see how much money I've spent since Oct 2021 on Vivid Racing and it's over $14,000. Now Vivid Racing, a multi million dollar corporation is going against our agreement and wants me to spend another $1700 due to a "mistake". You would think any legit company would do right by a customer that just spent $14k on parts, and honor the agreement that was originally made, but the rep said no. Now I don't know if this rep has some sort of side deal where he charges his customers twice, and then he pockets the difference on the side, or if he is just dishonest and reels customers in with the best pricing, then changes the agreements later, classic bait and switch, but let this review be a warning to all future customers that Vivid Racing does not stay true to their pricing agreements. I am very sorry I spent so much money at this store but I will not be buying anymore parts for any of my cars from them in the future. And I am told that this is an easy case to win in small claims court since I have emailed proof of our agreements. I haven't decided as yet but I will be considering doing that. stay away! atrocious completely inept and unresponsive customer support and service. they shipped my exhaust to the wrong address, car sat in the shop for two extra weeks, refuse to refund my money and Fed Ex returned the shipment. I called/emailed more than a dozen times trying to get the address corrected. kept assuring it was, it never was. Fed ex confirmed vivid never contacted them. even tho, vivid employees and the CS manager said he would. now Fed Ex returned the exhaust, I have no exhaust, no refund and they have it. so they robbed me. they don't answer my calls or emails. read more

Ordered two face masks for my motorcycle helmet in June 2024. Was listed as in stock at time of purchase. Delivery date was pushed back multiple times. I waited until Jan 15th, 2025 as it was the shipping date they gave after it was delayed twice. It then was changed to May 2025. I then requested a refund. Took over a month for their "accounting team" to verify my order cancellation. I repeatedly had to ask for a shipping date as they did not reach out to me once for change of delivery. Sent more "Were you satisfied with customer services" emails then updates on my order. After reading reviews I regret ever wasting a dollar on this "company". STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more

Originally inquired if brake pad set on their website could fit my car a year ago, and the customer service rep ensured me that it will fit (Attached email interaction). It's listed as a MK7 Golf R brake pad, which fits the MK7 Golf GTI Performance Pack for the front pads. It didn't specify on their website if it was front or rear, and so I asked customer service if it was fronts and they confirmed that was the case. Fast forward a year later, I decide to finally pull the trigger on the brake pads. Once they came in, I realize the pads they sent are clearly for the rear since they were much smaller than anticipated. Not only was it not the front pad like they said it was, but the rears for a Golf R uses a different brake pad compared to the GTI due to the electronic parking brake found on the Golf R... I figured well honest mistake from the customer service rep let's just get this returned... sent out the return request form and it was rejected because the brake pads sold happened to be listed as clearance, and when it's a clearance item, it can't be returned. Well I only ordered this part because I was told by customer service that the part would fit! I tried to explain to the returns rep that I was told it would fit my car, and they said because the information was a year old and information changes, it cannot be returned. I have never gotten this much pushback before in my life on a return, let alone for a mistake that customer service introduced. I honestly feel like I've been scammed being promised one product yet sold another, and I can't even return it and so I'm stuck with a $350 paper weight because of their false customer service information. Never shopping here again obviously. Definitely the worst online shopping experiences I have ever experienced when ordering parts for my car. read more

Poor Customer service.... Purchased hood and splitter, both arrived (in Australia) damaged. For some reason they are putting the packaging and handling into me! I paid them a lot of money to transport both items to Australia, they told me that they ship "all over the world"....i doubt that very much. Both items arrived (not as arranged) damaged...now they are telling me that I should have kept the cartons....both cartons were huge and not kept as I have nowhere to store them....but why would I want to? They are asking me for shipping details....i didn't ship them, they did! I was told that both item were made in America....they were made in china! They were both still in original carts...not inspected prior to shipping so the good could have been damaged in shipping from china to america YET they are asking me for shipping details. I'm finding this extremely bazar and it's obvious that they are being bulldozed by the shipping company. I have been asking for proof that they did everything right in their responsibility in ensuring all details...including inspection of goods prior to shipping. I never received my order but was told it was delivered by Fedex and vivid racing refuses to return my calls/emails to help dispute the order with Fedex. I was working with a manager who was going to assist with the Fedex dispute who now refuses to return my calls/emails even after they said they would help me. I have attempted to contact the business by responding to different survey's and reviews, reaching out to direct emails for help, and I never receive a response. Apparently there is only one manager there in the returns/online order department and they are avoiding helping me with my problem. I left 3 voicemails on the managers direct line pleading for any response, even if they are just waiting to hear back from Fedex and still I have not received any communication back. I would at least like a refund for my order or to have the company send me the item I ordered without the cost of shipping because I already paid at least $15 when I originally ordered. The entire time I have not been able to discuss details of this with Fedex because the Shipper(Vivid Racing) has to be the one to dispute the delivery of this order. I'm extremely frustrated as this was a gift for my fiancé that I paid for and have yet to receive and probably never will receive because it's been at least 2 months of dealing with this issue. If you are thinking about buying from this company then maybe don't and find another auto supply shop with better customer service. read more

Placed an order with them for a set of headlights. Realized that I had ordered the wrong ones, that was my bad, reached out to them less that 30 minutes since I placed it. However, I tried to contact them multiple times through email, contact page, and phone call but can't seem to reach them. Eventually they reached back to me after the item had shipped so I had to refuse delivery. Now I am on the hook for almost $90, assuming it is for the shipping and restock fee? Ordered a subwoofer for my Jeep Wrangler, "estimated shipping date" was March 17 which was a month away. I found the item on another site (probably where they were getting it even though it said "out of stock") and ordered it from there then proceeded to cancel my order with VR. I then get an e-mail stating it had shipped (this is Feb 17). So now I have two coming. I told VR customer service I would be returning the speaker as soon as it arrives and followed their return process. They will refund the price of the sub however I would not be receiving a shipping refund (14.99) because "shipping dates are estimated".....a month off ?? Vivid Racing deserves negative stars, I was looking forward to the Air Intake I purchased, which they contacted to pay an additional $20 to have it shipped to my state which I payed thru Paypal. Got email confirmation and I was pleased about my experience... so far. 2 days later I get an email from Fedex that my item had been delivered; it was delivered but not to me, delivered to them. I immediately contacted them and that's where it went south real quick. Talked to Frank who blew me off telling me my item shows as delivered there is nothing he can do. I also spoke with Nikki who said at first that my order had not been processed yet, than told me that it shows that I received the item and was signed by an MBRYANT, who happens to be their employee. Now they are completely ghosting me not answering my calls, nor emails. I even opened a dispute with Paypal in which I attempted to communicate with them and got a reply that they would ship and let me know the tracking #, after 2 weeks, I requested a response and they proceeded to ignore me once again. Through all the ups, and downs, she was persistent in her effort to get my situation resolved. Backstory... ordered Anzo LED taillights in June. They worked for one month. I contacted her about replacements. On her end it wasn't a problem. However, I was not in Arizona, so I did not have my OEM lights to replace the defective units. Had to purchase the second set before getting reimbursed for the first. Was a little hesitant about that, but Alexanderia assured me it wouldn't be an issue. Fast forward to present day... I've only gotten reimbursed for the first set. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's I kinda figured maybe situation had been overlooked. Reached back out to Alexandria; she apologized and jumped all over it. Alexandria has been the example of what a company should do to make a customer happy. Just want to throw in there that throughout the course of this situation I have maintained a level of professionalism that matched hers. How can I expect to receive courteous "ass"-istance if I'm acting like the first three letters of the word I am seeking? Alexandria, your demeanor via email commanded respect. You were very professional. Went above and beyond looking for answers to questions. Very persistent about getting back with me in a timely manner. I appreciate every email you sent me. Vivid racing is the worst store period I've ever seen. I was going to order online and decided to call to double check it was the right part. The parts specialist reassured me it would fit my car. When the rotors came they were completely different from my original rotors. I called and told them and they said the would fit. The mechanic refused to put them. I wanted to return the rotors and sent pics of the difference. It took 3 weeks for them to get an approval for them to be returned. Then they said it was customer error that, I ordered the wrong part and charged restocking fee. Not to mention, I have to pay to ship them back. What pissed me off is when they kept telling me they needed approval from the manufacturer, when I had nothing to do with the manufacturer. I bought directly from them. I purchased a item and had to return it after learning the actual installation costs, they required that I pay over 100.00 dollars to ship it back and they are taking 25 percent restocking fee, which will ultimately result in a loss of almost 400.00 dollars from the purchase price. This is the worst experience I ever had with any Autoparts company, as of today I am still awaiting my refund and they keep giving me stall tactics saying the vendor has to open the box and inventory the parts, even with me advising them that I never opened the box. I worked with Mr. Anthony Luna at Vivid Racing to purchase my 19" HRE FlowForm FF01's in optional IPA Finish, for my MK6 GTI, just a few months ago. I had EXTENSIVELY shopped every online retailer, and Vivid offered the best pricing by a narrow margin. I found one site that grossly mis-advertised their price and I sought for Vivid to match it. It was clearly less than half their cost, but Anthony worked with me to work out the best "realistic deal". The attentiveness and service that came with my transaction, I would have paid more for than other competitors, in hindsight. I really lucked out and made the right choice. Anthony engaged the folks at HRE and kept me completely informed throughout the whole process. I knew precisely where my order was at all times, and Anthony tolerated my constant nagging, with a great attitude. It's hard to handle my "intensity" and "need to know" approach sometimes. He managed to turn around a custom wheel order, in the middle of a pandemic, in a fraction of the time that was to be expected. This was initiated during the "Stay at Home" order in California. And delivered shortly thereafter. While HRE was running with a ghost team. My HRE's are BEAUTIFUL, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to work with Anthony and Vivid. It's one of the best transaction and service experiences I've EVER had. Thank you Anthony!!! I advise ANYONE looking for rims or aftermarket parts to consider Vivid, and request Mr. Luna. I ordered a replacement Left Driver Side Headlight for my 2010 Ford Fusion from VividRacing for $146.22 on 5/11/2023. My current headlight still worked, but it had become blurry. When the replacement part from Vivid Racing came, I took it to my mechanic, who connected the new light from Vivid Racing. The main light in the headlamp from Vivid Racing wasn't working. I immediately contacted VividRacing to start the return process. I chose to go to CarParts.com for a replacement. This time I ended up paying $207.49 and $43.76 for next-day shipping to get the part in time so my mechanic could install it for a total part cost of $263.70 When I took the part from CarParts.com to my mechanic, he installed it without issue. So, both the original part on my car and the new part from CarParts.com worked. The only one that didn't work as intended was the one from VividRacing. I filled out the return form on the VividRacing website twice, and no one contacted me. I then called them on the phone, and waited through the voice prompts. When I did get someone on the phone, they said they would transfer my info to the returns team. It wasn't until two weeks after I started my return process that I finally got an email from VividRacing. They requested I send them pictures and videos of the light not working. I've never had to video or take pictures of something not working to get a refund, but I provided pictures of the defective light. My last response on 7/5 was that it needs to be returned as a warranty item with no details or explanation on how to return the part. I filed a report with the BBB and they refused to respond to my complaint. They're not BBB certified and should never be BBB certified. Don't order parts from them they're one big scam. read more
