My 2011 135I N55 fitted with Agency Power's new Down Pipe, Mid Pipe and Muffler, along with Burger Motorsports JB3 Piggy back tuner, Agency Power carbon fiber rear diffuser, and front splitters. Including custom made ISS Forged three piece wheels. I just tested out the new Agency Power down-pipe along with the Burger Tuning Juice Box on my 135I N55. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. This is how the car should of been produced by and sold by BMW. In addition I already had the Agency Power Titanium Tip Muffler on car. When they first used my car for prototype work last July 2010, they added their Agency Power mid pipe to car as well, however i had them remove it until a down pipe and tune was made. Now in July 2011, the car is now fitted with Agency Power Down Pipe, Mid-Pipe and Muffler along with Burger Motorsports JB3 Piggy back tuner. The results are awesome and as far as the driving, no more turbo lag and car responds quicker and sounds very aggressive. The top end seems to be unlimited. I will only say that after leaving Kingman, on the way to Vegas, I had the car at "140" on an OPEN ROAD, and car just wanted more, as if it was saying, FEED ME, FEED ME. However I chickened out because of the road I was on and not a track. Bring on the 1M and/or the M3 I've had a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Mercedes CLK63 Black Series before and this car is right up there now! Seriously! Since 2008, we have been producing innovative and better performing products for the then released 135i and 335i. From our catless downpipes, exhausts, charge pipes, blow off valves, midpipes, intercoolers, to carbon fiber aero pieces, there's always something in the works. The latest coming release from Agency Power is the 2011 BMW 135i downpipe for the newly released N55 single turbo motor. This test vehicle already had our Agency Power Titanium Tip Muffler, then we installed and dyno tested the NEW downpipe. After we got 25+ wheel horsepower on our Mustang Dyno, we then road tested the car and are happy to say it performs beautifully, and you can carry on easy conversation in the cabin just the same. Dyno results from the downpipe were 25+ whp and 12+ lb/ft tq at peak. In the mid range where it really is noticeable, we saw gains in whp of over 35 and torque of 30 lb/ft. We then added a Burger Motorsports JB3 Piggy back tuner released for the new N55 motor to optimize the car for the additional flow. We ran the car once again on our Mustang dyno in 114 degree heat with 91 octane(that's what we get in Arizona unfortunately) and saw further increases all along the curve. Adding the tuner picked up around another 20 wheel horsepower and 50 lb/ft torque within the power curve. This gave us a grand total increase of 45 wheel horsepower and 60 lb/ft of torque within the power curve. We did not have a chance to re dyno after adding our Agency Power Mid-pipe but in previous testing, the mid-pipe is good for another 10-20 wheel horsepower. Well it was quite a journey getting my Invidia. I originally ordered a Skunk2 catback, however, the wrong one arrived. This was more of an issue with the website not being very clear that the Skunk rig wouldn\'t be compatible with my Civic Si sedan than a shipping error. I got the one I ordered. Just about every exhaust on the page specified \"coupe\" or \"sedan\", but not the one I chose. So, I thought I was good to go. Not really. To make it work I\'d need some expensive fabrications. So I returned it. Brian Plosila in Vivid Sales assured me things would work out and that he\'d work with Skunk2 to find a match for my 2009 Honda Si. It took awhile to get the credit back from Skunk2. Brian and I both did some research and came to the conclusion that Skunk2 only makes the \"R\" version for my vehicle and not the Megapower I wanted. The \"R\" is loud and better suited for a future forced induction set-up and I\'m not going down that road. Brian called me with some options that Vivid had available, I said I\'d weigh my options, do some research, and get back to him. So I went with the Invidia and I\'m glad I did. This rig is sweeeet! The titanium burnt tailpipe finisher looks amazing and much bigger than any photo I\'ve seen of it. It stands out. I liked the fact that this was a 70mm set up from the cat all the way back-not 60mm with the Skunk. The tone is just what I was after. Pretty quiet at idle and a nice growl that increases as I progress through my shifts. Civics are known for cabin noise and the old high pitched whine of the stock exhaust is replaced by a nice deep tone. It is a bit louder especially when running at around 3000-3500 rpm but I\'m cool with that. At least I feel like I\'m getting better feedback from the motor. Throttle response seems to be a little better. I know it\'s just a catback married to my existing stock header and a bolt on K&N CAI but I feel like the performance has improved. I expect to feel a real measured improvement when I add the Invidia header. I definitely recommend! Someone impatient might have been frustrated with a similar experience that I had but I wasn\'t in a big hurry. I\'m going to have the car awhile. I can\'t say enough about Brian in Sales/Customer Service. He stayed in touch with me through the whole process, keeping me updated the whole way. He was extremely professional. He didn\'t bullshit me. If he didn\'t know something he got me the answer quick. I hope my next purchase with Vivid goes smoother but I\'ll shop with them again. So this review was going to start as a 1 star. I had purchased from vivid racing before and had little minor inconviences there. But I had gone to make a pretty large purchase. Website said they originally had in stock. So I place my order. Almost 30 days went by. Never got tracking or confirmation. Ended up receiving a package and it only had 1 of like the 6 things I ordered. So I called then and got bounced around all over the place. 1 rep said that my other stuff was at the shipping dock ready to go. While I was on the phone with him, at the same time I got an email saying the part were discontinued. So I tried calling back and kept receiving mixed answers. A few days later I had seen Katie Pajestka (Vivid Katie on FB) post something for vivid on a group. On that same post I had mentioned I had a bad experience, she jumped right into messenger and asked me some details about my issue. Within 24 hours she did confirm that the parts I ordered were in fact discontinued and she processed a refund immediately for me....and by immediately I mean in 24 hours i had a full refund back. She also said she wanted to make it up to me. They did have a few other items that I was looking at so she confirmed stock for me and had it shipped. Since that interaction my fiance and myself have spent thousands with her and she's always been there to help. She's even gone out of her way to look for parts they don't carry and was able to get them for me. Her customer service is incredible and if it wasn't for her, Vivid would have lost my business long ago. She's always taken care of us. Gotten us the best prices anywhere on the web. And everything has always shown up much earlier than She's quoted us. She's an incredible asset to the Vivid team. Has me and my fiance on a first name basis, and has us to the point where we consider her a friend. My husband and I have been tuning cars since the greddy emanage and apexi afc days and then there was the AEM stand alone (those were exciting times.) But now a days it's become much easier to get crazy performance out of your cars with out spending $1,000s and $1.000s on engine management and countless hours later on the Dyno (and Vivid racing tunes are one of those ways). There is a small handful of big name tuners that we have used throughout the years and their tunes are definitely not a night and day difference from one another.. a good solid tune with good power gains ... is a good solid tune with good power gains. In most cases we might be talking about a claimed 5 more Hp one way or the other so which tune do you chose? Well we deal with Vivid for all our own cars as well as clients cars because of their amazing customer service. Hands down you will not find better customer service than Vivid racing ... they have the integrity many tuner shops now a days are lacking so if your looking for a tune that is just as solid as APR, GIAC.. or a few of the other reputable tuners out there but also looking for integrity and unbeatable customer service that rivals all.. then Vivid racing tunes is the tune you are looking for. I will add that when everything goes smooth it's easy to say 5 stars great place but it's when you do hit a speed bump that a shops integrity truly shines or there lack of.. and that's why vivid has our business and always will .. because when things do happen they handle the issue and do it in a very timely manor. I find it hard to believe anyone has had a problem with this shop and I think it's likely it is the customer that's the issue not vivid after dealing with them first hand (I say this as an everyday customer and as a shop.) !!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! UPDATE: I have reached out as requested and will have an update on the resolution. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My son and I recently ordered a carbon fiber hood from Vivid Racing and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Upon receiving the package, there were no visible signs of damage, and my son signed for it without being instructed to inspect the contents. As I intended to keep the hood protected until we were ready to install it, I did not immediately open the package to examine the product. However, when we finally opened the package, we were disappointed to discover a noticeable crack in the carbon fiber. It was evident that the damage had occurred prior to it being packaged, as there were no visible signs of harm to the back. We promptly contacted Vivid Racing with photographic evidence of the issue, providing them with all the necessary information they requested. Regrettably, dealing with Vivid Racing's customer service has been an arduous process, lasting a whole month. Despite my immediate claim and the evidence I provided, it has taken multiple back-and-forth communications for them to offer a mere $100 refund on a $1500 hood. Such compensation is far from fair considering the extent of the damage and the price of the product. In light of our experience, I strongly advise others to approach Vivid Racing with caution. If you are in the market for automotive accessories, I would recommend seeking other reputable companies to ensure a more satisfactory purchasing experience. Vivid Racing's lackluster customer service and unsatisfactory resolution to my issue leave me with no choice but to discourage any potential customers from relying on them. Anthony Luna is the person who took care of me and I couldn't be more impressed. First off a little back story, I am active duty U.S. Army stationed in Germany and it is a PITA to get car parts delivered here since the base post office only accepts usps shipping orders. I've tried buying many different car parts from various well known companies. Often times those companies will not offer shipping with usps or when I explain my situation and ask for them to ship with usps they turn me away. When I looked at buying a sparco harnesses through vivids website it seemed they were going to fall into that category of loosing a customer due to not wanting to ship with usps. Boy was I wrong, I used email and the chat feature on the website to explain my situation and asked if they would ship to me. Within 20 min Anthony and I were exchanging emails, every time I had a question or concern he would reply to my emails with a straight answer within 20 min. Additionally, he was able to accommodate to my unique shipping situation, price match, and give me a really good deal that couldn't be matched elsewhere. I was so impressed with the first dealing that later that day we exchanged emails again so I could order Sparco seats. Once again Anthony found me the best deal on the seats I wanted. He was also upfront and transparent with me about the seats and told me the wait time on them since they were out of stock (not a luxury other companies will give you!). In closing I really appreciate the customer service from Anthony, it was a pleasure working with him and I look forward to future buying experiments. I recently walked into Vivid Racing store to purchase some brake fluid for my vehicle. My husband had sent me to run this errand for him because he didn't have time. I was a little intimidated when I first walked into this custom racing store to order a couple of bottles of fluid. From the time I walked into the front lobby I was greeted by the receptionist and immediately provided customer service by Todd. My order was so small yet I was treated like I was important at this place. My family is probably a small consumer of products at Vivid Racing but made to feel just like a larger consumer would. Todd took me back to his office area and handled everything. He was polite and provided me with outstanding customer service. A week later I had to go back in to Vivid Racing to return the two bottles I originally had bought because we needed a larger quantity of fluid. I was greeted once more promptly by the receptionist and Todd was called up to help me. I was impressed with the level of customer service provided by Todd. He assured me not to worry about the return and asked if I needed to by more quantity for the brake job. When I explained that we were going to use another brake fluid instead of theirs he stated no problem. Todd fully refunded my purchase and told me he hoped to see me again. He didn't try to deduct a restocking fee for more order which he rightfully could have based on their restocking policy stated on my receipt. So I went to GMS Performance because I had bought the C450 AMG. Don't get me wrong the car had balls when you put it in sport mode and super sport mode, I have been enjoying the car and the quickness & pep. As soon as the VIVID tune was installed I can definitely tell a difference from even an eco-mode or comfort mode the car now drives like it's in super sport mode even in eco-mode I get better gas mileage more power, the car is way faster and feels a whole lot meaner now. My first question was, why didn't Mercedes just go ahead and tune this car like that to begin with instead of having to make me do it after market and I figured out that basically 90% of people don't need this much power in their car. I probably don't even need this much power in my car but the truth is I enjoy it, it's faster than it was, it pushes harder and at 100mph it begs for more pedal! Since having the VIVID tune installed I'm amazed how much faster the car is and better gas mileage and I can pretty much run down just about any car I want to that's stock! Next goal is to keep going fast and avoid tickets probably will get a sport exhaust as soon as I get with VIVID and GMS and see what exhaust they suggest to go with. I went with GMS Performance because I trust the owner David, he is one of the most intelligent people I know and should most likely be working on spaceships (former career prior to opening his shop) instead of cars, so I lucked out to have someone way overqualified to get the most out of my new car! 2008 E60 M5 Dinan axle back exhaust purchase: I read a lot of reviews about Vivid Racing and most were horrible. I previewed their website and found what I was looking for and took the chance, in spite of my misgivings. Well, I ordered black tip and guess what I received polished tips.... So I reached out to Customer Service's Tanner C, and she looked into it and said she would get the right order to me, but I said never mind I will just keep the polished and let it go, I had already scheduled the install appointment date (why bother). Well, Tanner said she was sorry for the issue and gave a 10% discount on my order, which was nice, I appreciated that. Well, I showed up for the appointment at a local shop for the install and upon removing the exhaust from the box the drives side inside tip was bent. Not sure where it happened, I know for sure it was not me. So, I reached out to Tanner C, again, sent pictures, more upon request and behold I received a full right side axle back replacement from Dinan in AL, (where the first order had come from) and a return shipping label. I have dwelt with Dinan before and their customer service was excellent. So now I will give Vivid's Tanner C much respect for dealing with this issue and taking care of everything. I recently bought a Can-Am Max x3 Rs So I started looking around online at aftermarket upgrades and the first thing I was looking at was the ECU Flash Kit so I emailed asking them to contact me. A guy named Ryan got back to me super fast and answered every question I had. He was good to work with, So ended up ordering the ECU flash kit & Valvetronic cat delete both items made a big difference super happy with both items. When I went to install the Valvetronic cat delete I had a problem getting the turbo heat shield back on. (it was me not doing it right) So I emailed Dan "the owner" late one night not even expecting a response until the next day because it was like 10:30 pm. Dan emailed me back within 10 min he started trouble shooting the problem with me and as we where talking I mentioned I was going to Glamis the next day. Dan "said I have one of my head mechanics Cody that will be out there at the same time I will have him swing by and take a look at it". Cody text me when he arrived came over to my camp and had the heat shield on in 10 min. Thought that was super cool of them that's one of the reasons I'm taking the time to write this review. With the help of Dan M. (one of the owners of Vivid Racing) and Jeff A. (the superb service manager) I had a new set of Agency Power (the Vivid house brand) wheels installed on my Porsche Turbo. These wheels are so fine that I sold my superb Monoblok HRE P40s to get them. The new wheels, also mono-blok, lite weight and very strong look amazing due in large part to Dan customizing the install by painting the center caps and lug nuts black which looks savage with the contrast to the clear-coated, polished wheels. The install looks so distinctive that people stop and stare and blather (along with me) about how great they look. The final effect has left my Turbo looking very much like a GT2RS in the wheel and foot department. While the wheels were installed the Vivid Service staff repaired a problem with my rear brake pads, they were not hitting the rotors evenly, a problem I was not aware of. Due to consistently excellent service I recommend Vivid Racing to anyone--you can roll in with either a Buggati or a Dodge for exotic performance mods or just the always all-important oil and filter change. You will be treated with the same friendliness and respect. Your vehicle's service will benefit from the same knowledgeable staff and be treated every bit as seriously. I have spend a long time looking for new rims for my 2020 C8 Corvette and actually initially had purchased from Carid.com. Well I was lied to about the availability of the original wheels and even was sent an email with pictures of the wheels I ordered saying they had shipped and would arrive in a few days. What arrived was only the lug nuts so I called them and was told that the wheels were actually on a cargo ship off of the coast of California and they couldn't even give me an estimate as to when they would arrive. Needless to say I was very upset and cancelled the order. and actually have yet to even get my money back. That's where Vivid Racing and Ryan McRarlin came in. I called them to see what they could do on the same set of wheels that i had ordered from Carid and after he checked directly with the manufacturer he told me that while the lug pattern was correct for my car that the original wheels would not actually fit my car correctly. So after chatting about what I was actually looking to do he recommended a set of Vorsteiner wheels that were designed specifically for my car. I ordered a South Bend kit to convert a 350Z to single mass and used Paypal. Unbeknownst to me they have a policy of only shipping to an address associated with Paypal, and not to the address specified. No worries, my fault. Call vivid, straighten things out, and request that the item be expedited (at my cost) due to the delay I've already experienced, I was told it would be express shipped at no cost. Awesome. Cue the kit taking an additional NINE days to arrive, and then open the box to see that the kit doesn't contain a flywheel (as pictured on the site)! When I called I got the message service for online, left my details for a call back, waited another day without a call back, then called another office within vivid only to be told to look for the disclaimer that the "item may not be represented by the image" or something similar of which DOES NOT EXIST ON THE PAGE. Why show the flywheel in the kit if it isn't in it? Why list the kit as a conversion from dual to single mass? Why is there NO text stating that the items shown aren't what you get? There is NO REASON for the flywheel to be pictured along with the kit. Very disappointed with a company I've heard nothing but good things through my work with E46 M3s, and expected the best this time as well. Let down. read more

I have to start off by saying that my experience with Vivid Racing has been very professional. A big shout out goes to Mike Tibbetts and Dan for all there professional advice and answering all my questions. Now on to the review....I installed the VR Tuned ECU Tuning Box in about 15 minutes, the wiring harness was clearly marked for the 3 sensors and the harness is extremely well made. So, after the install I went for a test drive and checked all 3 modes, economy, sport and manual. Economy mode is like sport with your stock tune and sport mode absolutely woke the car up and took it to another level. With that being said I put her in manual mode and right when I thought it couldn't get any better it took off like a bat out of hell!!! So, I was so stoked I had to put her on the dyno. Here are the results....Stock Horsepower 195, Torque 186.2. With the VR Tuned ECU Tuning box it went to 226.45whp and 258.21 torque that's a gain of 31.45hp and 71.95 torque. That's the best tune for the money. I run 93 octane and the tuning box is on level 6. If you own a Mercedes Benz CLA250 this is the best tune, bar none!!! I worked with Jacky there, all i can say is it couldn't be better. I ordered Exhaust system for my 2010 MB C300, after a week I decided to sell my car. They gave me a full cash refund with no questions asked. I move on to my next car and couple months i come back since i love how honest they are with their customers. I get my 2010 VW GTI. Got headlights, intake, bov, full exhaust system and VR tune. Did the installation in another shop and got into issue with the exhaust not fitting proberly due to the company that makes it. Jacky takes care of everything and gets me another one without me having to worry about anything. Once everything was installed I take my care for a Stage 2 tune. Gave them my gopro and asked for a video, They did a great and clean job with the tune, took videos and pics as i asked, and after driving my car for two months all i can say is WOW the power is there. Great work, best prices i found in AZ and people that aren't just trying to sell you shit but actually cares about your needs. Wow! Through every step, every person I had contact with was pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable. Jeff helped me make my choice on an eissenmann pipe selection and even had a great suggestion as to what exhaust to get, (thank you for that by the way!). He was never short with me (albeit we only had email correspondence) and asked other questions about the set up I would eventually like! The day I ordered the pipes (8/12/11), I was hoping that I ordered the pipes soon enough that there might be some left in the reps warehouse, unfortunately I was late. However, instead of not finding out until the pipes didn't come in 3 weeks, I got an email from Jim who explained the situation and gave me an estimated waiting time. That's awesome!! Seeing as I'm still waiting for an iPod integration setup that was backordered and I was never told about..a month ago. It's clear that those who work at VR have a passion for cars and what they do and that passion shows. I cannot thank you enough! Firstly, it is disappointing that Vivid Racing deducted 25% of the product's price for my return, especially when the product did not fit properly. This is an unfair practice that puts an unnecessary burden on the customer, particularly when I have already paid for the product and incurred additional costs for shipping it back because they would not send me a shipping label. In addition, the delayed shipping and difficulty in figuring out how to return the product further compounded the negative experience. As a customer, you expect timely and efficient service, and these issues only add to the frustration of an already disappointing situation. Overall, the poor customer service I received from Vivid Racing is unacceptable. As a consumer, you should expect to be treated fairly and respectfully, and these experiences do not meet those standards. It is important for companies to prioritize customer satisfaction and make it a priority to address issues promptly and effectively. In conclusion, based on my experience, I would not recommend Vivid Racing as a reliable or customer-focused company. read more

I have been a VividRacing customer since 2002. I have an 02 WRX and since day one, they have been the only ones to work on it. Anything from aftermarket parts to the usual services required for cars. They have always gone above and beyond to help me with whatever situation I might have. The best service story I have is when I was moving from Arizona to Lake Tahoe and my car overheated and broke down in the middle of NOWHERE in the desert outside of Kingman, Arizona. After contacting Dan, freaking out I might add, he was able to walk me through step by step on what to do, what to look for, and how to possibly fix it. With nothing working, Dan was able to help me get my car towed to a hotel in Kingman, in which he sent Jeff Aguilar and a mechanic Mitch out to Kingman the very next moring and fix my car. It ended up being a thermostat issue that they fixed, and I was able to continue my journey to Lake Tahoe. Now THAT is customer service. Very bad company, never stand behind what they sell. Would never recommend them or use them again, i had big plans for my car and many parts to purchase.. i have since brought my money else where to save with hassle and avoid BAD SERVICE! Do not spend your hard earned money with vivid, you will be disappointed! Wish i could give no stars or 0.5 of a star at best... cost me nothing but money and time this company, listen to other reviews, HORRIBLE COMPANY! Dealt with Billy their sales adviser, one of the most incompetent people i have dealt with in my life. They do not stand behind anything they say, i incurred additional charges of almost $500 due to their inability to grasp the concept of freight, never received any of the money from them instead they offered me a small discount on my next purchase, i declined as i know would never go back to them.
