Be aware of these guys. They have a policy that requires your signature on all orders delivered to your home. I work all day and live in a home where we all work. You have to waste a vacation day and hope your package arrives on that day. They don't tell you this until after you made the purchase. Secondarily, they couldn't hit their butt with either hand if they tried! They asked me to sign a EPA waiver for something that was "CARB Approved" Wouldn't send the item until I signed the waiver. Makes no since to me! Then they told me it was shipped, gave me a tracking number that said it was going to be here one day only to find out it was going to be a day later. To top that off they sent me an e-mail saying it was coming over a week later. This is when I was inquiring about a refund. That was when I was told there was a 25% restocking charge and I would have to pay for the return shipment. I get the COVID thing but enough is enough. Work with people during this time. I'm active in the racing world mostly boats but the racing world has a lot of connections. I will tell you this. I WILL NOT recommend these guys to anyone. If you choose this guys, be careful that's all I have to say. I'm always skeptical when all I see are 5 star and then 1 star reviews. Nothing in between. Employees, friends. 5 stars everyone else 1 star..Hmmm ya think? Run from these knot heads! read more

The customer service is awesome! I've known about Vivid Racing for a little while now, never really needed to order anything until now. I saw a post from a 370Z forum for some Advan RS wheels and I contacted them by email. I got a super fast response from them and I ordered the wheels. My wheels were shipped to me super fast, I even requested they have them held at a local FedEx location for me. From beginning to end, they were with me the whole time, even if I was one of the annoying customers that keeps checking up on things. The crew at Vivid is top notch and I would gladly do more business with them. read more

I went on their website and emailed them to order a rear diffuser for my gen v viper. I resent the picture of the version I wanted and reconfirmed to them exactly which one I wanted by email. I did all this as I am based in the UK so did not want to have to send it back. They confirmed it was correct and it had been sent but never supplied a tracking number so I had to open a Paypal dispute. They sent the wrong one! I did my utmost to get them to send the right one, I even emailed their CEO, Dan Mermelstein explaining the situation but he didn't even have the manners or backbone to reply. After I left a bad review he replied! How strange. That says more about the company than anything! I even said I wanted to buy other parts but they were not interested. I now have the wrong part and it's too expensive to send back. $3000 down! Thanks Vivid, you have proved just how useless and inefficient you are. With this type of customer service and the other terrible reviews received you will lose hundreds of customers but you really do not seem to care. Be warned they are useless and will do their best to screw up your order and their customer service is non existent. read more

I am very understanding but, we have bought items from Vivid on a few occasions, it has been an awful experience each time as soon as they have payment. These are very expensive parts we have bought from them. Months of false promises, unanswered phone calls, unanswered emails, no response from them at all, meanwhile they have had close to $10,000 of mine while they ignored our calls and emails, daily. We buy a lot of parts from, a lot of different vendors and certainly understand the challenges this pandemic has caused. I deal with these things all day, with all vendors. The neglect and being ignored is the issue. You don't want to believe they would do that but I can assure you, they will. Don't believe them if they say they have the item in stock, that's how they got me again. The item shipped out incomplete and the missing parts are not available so now we are stuck with a customers Lamborghini in pieces for over a month. He is not happy and I can understand why! Saddest part of it is, it was another one of the same customers cars when this happened last time. read more

I'm fine with delays in the current environment. I understand with covid and such. I've ordered plenty of parts and experienced plenty of delays. What I'm not ok with is deceptive customer service. I inquired about my order from January as I expected there would be more delays. I get my response on April 1st with this "The manufacturer is just waiting for their stocking order to arrive any time and once processed into their stock, they will have your order get shipped shortly after." I didn't think think they would lie about my order on April 1st as that would be in bad taste. So imagine how pissed I was to discover this delay at the end of April when I haven't heard anything, "Unfortunately, the manufacturer has informed us that the current ESD for this order is mid-late June." Based on other websites I think we can call it late June as it almost appears that my 5 month old order could be ordered today from a variety of sources and you would receive the same time and maybe even before me. It's a good thing my order appeared to be shipping any day in April! read more

So I have had 2 cars tuned, dyno'd and spent over $8200.00 with this business. My past purchases were ok I'd rate 3 of 5 stars as I had some issues with parts installed not being installed correctly and failed. In addition, I recently purchased a RennTech Intercooler Upgrade Pump for $1349.00 for my AMG CLS63 Mercedes. 2 days after ordering I called and started an immediate refund. Note: Renntech warehouse was shipping the product and was not stored at Vivid Racing. The product was verified as not having left the warehouse and I was told that a FULL refund would take 2-5 business days to clear and a internet sales rep would follow up with me to ensure the process went smoothly. Long story short: 3 weeks later, talking to 4-5 company reps in sales/internet sales/warehouse, over 12 lengthy "please hold" phone calls, not one employee followed up with me and every call a response and follow up was promised. So the product ended up being shipped for internal issues beyond my control. Finally nearly 4 weeks after initial purchase and refund request, I did receive a refund MINUS a 15% restocking fee and they tried to keep the sales tax on top of it!! The unit never left the warehouse as far as I know. I was promised and told numerous times that I would NOT be charged these fees and obviously I ended up incurring them. FINALLY I spoke with Tanner at extension #239 in Internet Sales and Customer Service. This employee is exactly how her job should be handled and customers managed! Within 12 hours, I had received justice and the funds were promptly refunded to me. Tanner performed extremely professionally and did precisely what she said she was going to do exactly when she said she was going to do it. Great phone presence and she is the ONLY reason why I would even entertain the possibility of using Vivid Racing for any further parts, service or tuning. I will only work with her and the owners need to take note of this review and act accordingly! Thank you Tanner read more

Ordered an apr wing for my s2000 on 5/20, two weeks passed and I had to call vivid racing to find out what was going on with my order; they then told me my item was back ordered. It would've have been nice if they let me know when I placed my order. Few more weeks pass, I sent an email out to customer support and Tanner gets back to me with a tracking number and an added item for the long wait. I appreciate Tanners professionalism and the follow up to the order. There were a couple of annoying prewritten emails from an Amy, Brooke, and Nikki. Basically those three constantly sent prewritten emails everyday (received 12 of the same emails within one week) with no update on my order. That was the only annoying part, not sure if they're automated bots. In all, I probably will never order again from vivid racing due to the fact I had to wait a month; but I'm glad I did receive my item thanks to tanners help. read more

Yeah, they're the scum of the earth. They don't stand behind their products, and will lie in your face. All of the reviews on their site are moderated and they delete any review they don't like. I kept at least 5 times submitting my review on his site, and Dan kept deleting it and laughing in my face. They're also sponsors on all major forums, and they leverage this position to squash any negative revue. It was a massive fight just to get an review posted, and more carefully worded then I wanted, and it was closed soon afterwatds, and not deleted just because I run into understanding moderator. Oh, yeah, so I bought Softronic ECU update for my Porsche from Vivid Racing, that worked faulty and caused me massive repairs ($5K or so). Would never, ever deal with any of these two companies. I placed an order for a set of Tires from Vivid Racing on July 29th, 2015. The deal I found was great, shipping was cheap and I was happy to get them ordered. about 5 days later, I had no charge to my account, no tracking info and no follow-up from Vivid Racing. I emailed Vivid to ask about the status of my order and received the following response from customer service: "I am not showing a order being placed, was this order done over the phone or through the website?" I replied, informing them that the order was placed through the website on July 29th and gave them my Invoice # and Customer ID #. I never received a response. I emailed again about 4 days later and still received no response. Finally, 2 weeks after my purchase date (today), I decided to call in and ask about my order because at this point, I was doubting that I would be getting my tires at all. I called a couple of times to speak with an online sales customer service agent and got no answer with no ability to leave a voicemail and no hours of operation. Just a "your call could not be completed, goodbye" automated message. I tried a different extension on my 3rd try and got a gentleman who informed me that he couldn't see my order and that I should call back for online customer service after 15 minutes (12 P.M. Eastern Time). This was when their department opened. I have absolutely no problem with a later opening, but found it somewhat frustrating that the customer service hours of operation were not stated in an automated message and that I had no ability to leave a message. I did call back at about half past noon and got a very helpful lady who informed me that they were unable to get the tires and that my order had been cancelled. She said that I should have received an email on the 29th letting me know that the order was cancelled. I have checked my inbox several times (spam, junk and trash inboxes included) and I never received this email. I informed her of this and she said that it was probably due to a problem with their servers. Apparently this had happened before with other orders. All in all, they did not hold my money or lie to me, so I cannot say that their service was poor, but I can only give 3 stars as my experience was sub-par and I have now wasted time on getting the tires that I need. I would have had no problem if I had received the original cancellation email. Disappointed, yes, but no reason to leave any kind of review. I may try Vivid Racing again at some point and if I have a different experience, I will change my review. read more

Bought some tail lights from their online store and was sent the wrong item. First off, the item pictured on the product page wasn't the item sent. They knew of this beforehand and still didn't change the image for the product, because the woman I spoke to on the phone said she remembers dealing with this issue before for this particular product. Then when I contacted them to return the product, the customer service was less than friendly and they never contacted me back until I filed a PayPal claim. So I file the PayPal claim and they still try to give me the run around until the claim expiration date to avoid having to refund me all together, mind you, this is long after they have received the tail lights I shipped back to them. To top all of this off, they don't even stock most of their products, they are drop shipped by other people!! This place may be great at working on cars, but buy products from their online store at your own risk. read more

The customer service while on the surface seems great ends up being appalling. I've been racing motocross since 1991 leading to class 5 baja, back to motorcross, then on to utv's. Near in all my 28 years of racing have i have a company treat my order with such disregard. They will talk nicely enough to you when your on the phone but then just out and out refuse to contact you about an order. the online folks there were ignorant about the parts they sold, their web site and their absent vender(zrp racing). it took more than two and a half months to get my parts. If i could give these guys less than 1 star i would. And just for the record i'm usually the guy laughing and joking at the tract and if you do half way good biz with me i'll leave you a five star with no prob. Worse vender i ever dealt with. read more

Complaint update. Their customer service is still horrible. They only seem to respond after my poor reviews and claim they will help resolve the matter but then nothing. On Tuesday, June 13 I gave them the order number to reference and now it is Friday and still no resolution. Buyer beware. If you buy something from this vendor and you have an issue with their product there is zero chance you will get your money back. Ordered some Gramlights 57DR's from these guys in February, was contacted by Adam discussing some options as the color I ordered would take up to 8 weeks to get here, no problem. I told them I would wait the 8 weeks since I really wanted the wheels... 6 weeks in I ask about the status, with no response. 8 weeks in I ask again about the rims... got a message saying sorry but the wheels are no longer available and they refunded my money. Took 8 weeks of them holding onto $1600+ to tell me the wheels I ordered (and were confirmed by Adam) were not available... WTF. Obviously I'm not the only one who's had an experience like this. Vivid should really consider getting their sh*t together. read more

Placed an order for Greddy Rocket Bunny Skirts for my RX7, they claimed to have them in stock. I checked reviews and saw an average of 3 stars, so I decided to pull the trigger. They notified me via email - AFTER PAYING - that they did not have them in stock, and that they would refund me if I chose. I told them this was unacceptable and to please refund me. Well two weeks later they still didn't process my refund, so I filed a PayPal dispute. 3 weeks later they still have not responded to my dispute. Will update on the 26th, if they don't respond by then I should get my money back. Worthless company to order from. Stay clear. read more

Sold me a armytrix valved exhaust, advertised with having 3 modes of function. On/ loud, off/ quiet, and auto/programmable to open when you want. The exhaust only really has 2 functions. On/ loud and auto preprogrammed to open the valves at 3500 rpm. I say this because while in off mode the valves open at high rpm. When I asked them about it the said it's to keep from damaging your motor, because of too much back pressure. Unfortunately they will not except a exhaust that has been used , for return. They should advertise the exact function of the system and they dont. There was no way of knowing it functioned this way without using the product. You shouldn't have to ask questions that would contradict what the advertising suggests. I now have to take them to court to get the return accomplishment. Buy from these people at your on risk. They have many horrible reviews. You say you have offered help, please tell me what that was? Obviously you guys are shady on your products, otherwise the Attorney General of Arizona wouldn't have taken the case. They only accept 1/4 of the claims they receive. We will let the AG decide your businesses involvement in false advertising. read more

Ordered a tent on September 2nd from Vivid Racing. The next day, September 3rd, Vivid sent out a shipping update email stating that the order was being processed and we would receive a tracking number when available. Later on that afternoon, September 3rd, a customer service representative sent us an email checking to see if the shipping ETA would be okay with us before they actually processed the order. Note: I used the email I normally do not use and didn't realize this until later. On September 4th, we called them asking exactly which date this would be shipped, and when they let us know the expected delivery date, we let them know we would think on it. 5 minutes after the call ended, we came to the realization that we would not have the tent in time for our trip and needed to cancel. We went straight on their online chat system to cancel the order, and the automated system let us know that the cancellation request had been sent to the cancellation department. On September 10th Vivid then reached out with an email stating: "I apologize that this product will conflict your camping date. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. We can either try to find you something else you like or we can cancel this order for your and refund you." Like stated before, unfortunately the email did not go to my main email, and it went to one that is not used as often. When I finally realized that it was sent to my 2nd email I replied to cancel it, again, on September 19th. Monday September 21st rolls around and this tent is dropped off out our house with no shipment update or follow up email on checking what we would like to do with our order. All while it was supposed to be on hold, they said they'll send a shipping email and we never received one, and we specifically told them to cancel it. After it was delivered to our home, we instantly went to call them. When calling, we were told we were the first caller and we're next in line to be helped. After waiting on hold and being told 3 times that we were first in line, we were sent to a voicemail. We left a voicemail and we're hoping for a call back today, September 22nd. After not receiving a call back today, the 22nd, we called again, and got the same situation with being told we were the first caller, and being sent to a voicemail. We left another voicemail, and are hoping to finally get this issue resolved. This has been an almost entire month process just trying to cancel this order just for it to surprisingly show up at our doorstep with no shipping email or tracking number. Keep in mind, we also are currently stuck with a purchase charge that should've been handled weeks ago. We have already filed a dispute with Discover and are wanting to return the tent that shouldn't have even been delivered to our home. read more

I ordered a body kit for my camaro, they didn't have it. I asked for a refund and only got part of it back. they stole from me!!! and there's no want it's any kind of restocking fee, because i never got anything, they didn't even have what i ordered. Order #275846. I paid $135.77 for parking light lenses that cost $28. This is insane!!! I was totally polite and not at all impatient when talking to Tanner on the phone, and they STILL Screwed me over. They don't even fill their own orders, in fact, after reading reviews it is clear they are making a fortune just on canceled orders that get canceled and they keep a good amount. my cancelation didn't get shipped and they didn't have it in stock so there's no reason to keep any "shipping fee" or restocking fee, that would make sense if i was making a return, not canceling an order that was never fulfilled. I think the FBI or the local DA at least should know about these practices. I was going to order from them again, I'm doing a couple builds at the moment, but I guess not now... AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!! BUYER VERY MUCH BEWARE!!! read more
