AMA needs to hire additional triage nurses and add one or more phone lines.

I even went to that place on Aug 31,2022 (Wed) morning, the clinic has a paper posted on the front door said it's open hour, but the clinic was closed. I wasn't sure if the clinic is reliable to go to, so I decided not to do allergy shots there and emailed Jim back. He called me on Sunday afternoon and wanted to confirm my appt. First of all, she's good at what she does. I have some pretty weird allergies (celery, strawberries... and beer?!) in addition to my horrible pollen troubles. She gave me the most thorough allergy testing I've had and laid out all the information so that I could understand it (it has a name - oral allergy syndrome). She then laid out a plan of attack for us and it's been working wonders! Dr. Laznickova also has a great bedside manner. Shots are often painless, and lollipops are always offered. No matter what, she is always concerned about how you feel and will ask you - at least several times per visit. This is seriously the sweetest doctor I've ever known. She's also on your side when you're on a budget. For example, she gave me a catalog with some things I could buy to help control my dust mite allergies. I've seen these before, and I don't believe in some of the products, So, when I mentioned these feelings, she pointed out the exact items that would give me the most benefit for the least cost - a $5 mattress cover instead of a $100 air filtration system. I also got a ton of free samples, which I haven't even needed to replace months later! All the logistical things are perfect at this office. The location is easy to get to even in 8:30 AM traffic. Parking is ample and wait times are short. When the doctor sees you, there is no rush to get you out the door and you have her full attention. In summary, you can't go wrong here. Five stars.

Don't think for a minute that you're going to be seen by a "country doctor," as in rural America, at Mass General Waltham. That is absolutely not the case. MGH has brought the physicians, clinicians, technology, expertise, and high standards of its downtown "Mother Ship" on Fruit Street to Mass General Waltham. For more times than I care to admit, I have had surgery AGAIN in the Same Day Surgery Unit at Mass General Waltham. Everything I remembered about the unit proved true, once again: the care is consistently exceptional, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff are extraordinary. The consistency of care at Mass General Waltham is exactly what I would expect from a top-tier, High Reliability Organization. The facility is filled with reliable systems of care and expert clinicians--and, equally important, people who genuinely care about the patients they serve. Again, when I arrived at the Same Day Surgery Unit, I was greeted by an especially kind, welcoming, caring, professional, and efficient member of the front-desk staff. I was then escorted into the patient-only area by my pre-op nurse. From admission through discharge, I was continually impressed by the kindness, compassion, professionalism, and efficiency of every person I encountered. What is particularly striking is how much the staff seems to love working at Mass General Waltham. It felt as though everyone I met had come from the "Mother Ship" downtown and then arrived at a "Happy Place"--one that reminds me of the "Happy Island" of Aruba. Nursing was over the top--absolutely fantastic--as were anesthesia and surgery. As someone who has dedicated my career to patient safety, systems and process engineering, and High Reliability Organizations, I pay very close attention to how care is delivered. From that perspective, Mass General Waltham is exceptional. At every step of my surgical journey, there were appropriate verifications, structured handoffs, and optimal transfers--not only of me as a patient, but also of the information necessary to care for me, safely. The systems were reliable, the communication was excellent, and the people providing my care were outstanding. My care was flawless, as were the people who provided it and the systems supporting that care. I simply cannot say enough positive things about the people, processes, and quality of care at Mass General Waltham. It is a privilege to be a Mass General Waltham patient. Unfortunately, I'll be back in the operating room, again, in a few months. I am incredibly grateful--and genuinely comforted--by knowing that when I return, I will once again receive exceptional, compassionate, highly reliable care from the Same Day Surgery team at Mass General Waltham.

The garage, however, is a hot mess. We entered the garage from the street entrance to go left to the green building. Then you find you're actually at the blue building entrance. This requires an elevator to the 4th floor then a bridge to the green building on foot, then to whichever floor in that building. Unfortunately, upon entering the blue building from the parking lot, there are no signs to inform you. We happened to see a janitor and asked him how to get to the green building. Wouldn't it make more sense to allow you to park near the green building? Too confusing.

Given I am a very hands on mom and I like to ask a lot of questions and prefer avoiding the use of medication whenever necessary as my little girl is only 16 months. We have been seeing Dr. Eagen and I have been left wanting a little more. I didn't really feel supported and listened to. Yes, she will hear me out but on occasions i felt brushed off. I also didn't feel she took my concerns or my kids health very serious. Don't get me wrong when I say this.. She would see us when necessary and refer us out if needed. Given my daughter was sick a bit often we did see Dr. A, whom gets 10 stars. This man is incredible on top of his game and expresses his concerns for your child. I really wanted to have him as my main pedi, but he is mainly seeing only sick visits and may retire soon. I really wish he would have taken us. I definitely felt listened to and he was very dedicating at assessing health issues. He even advocated for my little one to get seen by a specialist sooner rather than later. For that i am super grateful. In the last couple of months there has been several changes at the front desk. So lots of training going on. The wait times when you call are ridiculous. I wonder why there is so much turn around in the front desk staff.
