Wow wow wow. This was the fastest service I've ever experienced at a nail salon! Sunny had my fill-in done in under 25 minutes and Kelly had my pedicure done in 35! The service was impeccable! I called around 11:51 for a 12:00 appointment and was seen at 12:03. I showed Sunny a design I saw on Pinterest and he executed it better than I imagined. Sunny was prompt and kept me entertained with his wit. Kelly took her time with my feet and made sure I was comfortable. I'll definitely go back for service, and I've already suggested Vivi to several friends in the area! read more

Went in for a full set and pedi. The pedi was decent however for the price I expected more. Didn't feel like a luxe experience. The full set is a complete other story. I asked for full set long set of nails. I also shared that I don't like thick and chucks nails. I was told I wouldn't get that and that he does his nails medium in thickness so that it isn't thin wnd no breakage would occur. I got thick, chunky, wnd uneven nails! I asked to have them thinned out and it didn't make them look better. I'm so disappointed and will not be returning again. This work isn't a representation of someone who has been in the mail business for years. More like beginner. To add I have two nails with flooded cuticle. It was a waste of money! read more

I had an appointment with Aaron at Pink Nail Salon in Laurel, MD coming up. However, my index finger nail split right in middle and I needed IMMEDIATE repair. (acrylic wit gel polish) I'm sure if it's happen to you , you know it hurts ! Ouch The gentleman with the tattoo on his right arm was my nail technician at Vivi Nails. He immediately noted I needed a refill. I agreed and explain to him I have a previously made appointment with the nail salon that I named above. I made this appointment a month in advance so I was not willing to lose my appointment to get my nails done here . I thought that they could at least repair it correctly. The young man that did my nail repair was a bit rude and customer service was poor . When it was all said and done my nail repair with regular polish was sooo thick. (The acrylic) I'm not sure if this is the trend , however this is not my cup of green tea. I have attached a picture below. I can't wait to continue my appointment with Aaron at Pink nail salon in Laurel . I will only come back to this place if there is an emergency and I'm in this area such as today. I would love to give them 5 stars due to them knowing how to treat nails, however, be weary of how you receive the way they talk to you. My favorite nail tech is Sunny, most of the time he does what I ask. However, other times it's very difficult for me to get exactly what I want if he doesn't agree. For instance, I hate long nails, which I've been asking him to trim for the past 2 months. Due to me getting my acrylic removed, against his advice because I wanted my nails to breath, my nails have been breaking despite me asking him to trim them. Other than this mishap, this is one of the only shops I recommend in PG due to its prices and speed of services. I never spend more than 2 hours in the shop for a mani & pedi gel sets. read more

In a pinch, I came to the closest nail salon. Although they did successfully apply polish to my toes, the service that I received was subpar. I should've left after seeing the polish options. I'm also pretty sure she was going to reuse the toe separator. Gross. read more

I was happy the first couple visits until my nail tech left. Found out my nail tech's mother worked there so I tried her out which wasn't the best idea. I called to make fourth appointment and began seeing a male tech and that first time was decent. Two more visits later I'm not happy my feet feel rough, cuticles are crazy, and the gel is not lasting more than a week. I started going to this spot in August 2017. It was exactly 4 weeks ago as I write this post that I visited and my gel is completely off after chipping and lifting at the cuticles. read more

This nail salon is absolutely HORRIBLE. This is the worst gel pedicure I've ever had. Rush and half-assed. The nail tech put very little callous remover on my feet then placed it back on the towel; most of it didn't even stay on my feet because of that. The nail salon I usually go to put a plastic bag over my feet once the callous remover is applied. She was literally done cutting my cuticles in 5 seconds. How? My son had a two-hour class at the Montpelier Art Center and I decided to get a pedicure while I waited which is the only reason why I came to this nail salon. It wasn't even my first choice. I found one with excellent Yelp and Google reviews, but they were busy. This nail salon was empty. Mmmm.... I wonder why. Anyway, I'm leaving a 3 star review instead of 1 because the nail tech did scrub my feet more once I complained and tried to do a better job, though the manager was just making excuses. read more

My friend and I came in for gel manicures and pedicures. We waited about 5 minutes and then someone lead us to the pedicure seats. About 5 minutes after our feet were soaking a woman began working on my friends toes. I assumed someone would be with me shortly after. Nope! I waited 35 minutes with my feet in the water waiting to be served. I Ultimately decided to not get my toes done due to the long wait. the service was horrible. This was probably THE absolute worst experience of my life. I asked for a pedicure, gel manicure and my eyebrows for my birthday. Well for one, the service initially sucked when I walked in the door. The two ladies were very rude when I asked for my service. For my pedicure they let my feet soak in water until my feet turned into a prune, when she finally started on my feet and was pulling at my cuticles, I kept expressing she was hurting me and she had no care in the world. Then, in mid pedicure she gets up starts walking around doing nothing and returned back to my feet. After the pedicure, she started working on my gel mani, she just put a bowl of water in front of my face to soak my hands. I immediately asked her where were the rocks and soap? She replied, "we don't do that hear." I'm pretty sure different places have different procedures so I still went with the flow until she started back up with my cuticles on my hands. I expressed to her again she is hurting me and can she not be so rough, she then gets up with an attitude and then comes back and STILL rough. Lastly, my eyebrows looked untouched. I had to go home with my tweezers and fix my shape, the hair she was supposed to tweeze and cut my own eyebrows! Fast forward, the VERY NEXT DAY every toe polished has chipped and my gel manicure lifted on every corner, at this point I'm livid!!! I call the store immediately to tell them about the poor service and whoever I was speaking to, said "what you want me to do?" Now I'm furious and I asked to speak to her higher up and she tells me he's out of town. I leave my number with her, no phone call. I continuously called the store and I have yet to speak to the owner. I just wanted my service fixed since I've spent money or a refund because the quality of the work sucked and so did the service. I went in to have my eye brows waxed. After I checked in I was told to sit in the white chair and someone would be momentarily. As stated I waited only about a minute before i was approached by a male technician that said "Lay down!". This was as I was trying to say hello. When I didn't react immediately out of sheer astonishment he yells again, this time with a little more instruction. "Lay back in the chair!" So he starts to apply the wax which was to hot. So I told him "Your wax is very hot." He says "oh" blows on it some more and proceeds. I guess at that point he figured he didn't need to ask if I was ok. Then he starts asking "What's wrong with your eyebrow? What happened here?" I told him "Nothing happened it just grows thinner there" He continues to badger me "when did you get them done last" "Did you come here?" Now mind you I do have thinner brows that do not need constant waxing it had been since January since I had them last waxed. So he proceeds to put his to hot wax on my brows then exclaims "finished" and shoved a mirror in my face. Of course I wasn't surprised to see that he had totally messed up my left brow. When I pointed out his error he tells me "Well its thin there I didn't do that". Mind you I can see the bumps where he has yanked the hair from my brow. I get up just totally done with the whole experience and to head to the front to pay. The only thing he has to say is "Eight dollars!" Truly the worst experience I have had getting my brows done.
