Customer service in the beginning was good but declined when they messed up my nails. First let me say that I always get my nails short and I've had fills before. I have never in my life dealt with this. They asked if I wanted it cut down and I did but not like this. She cut the nails from the bottom first. I have never seen them cut soo much nail at the bottom for a fill but everybody is different so okay. She then broke a few and just starting going to town on my nails. Then she cut the top to match where she broke the nails. She started drilling more and cut me. I asked her if she had something to stop the bleeding she grabs something and puts it on there. It can't get worse right. Wrong!!! She then proceeds to lay the acrylic on my nails. Now I know what regular acrylic and a dip is. She did regular on my nails and they came out super thick. They said they had to put white on top to alter the color because I wanted it to be green instead of what it was. So before she put the white, I told her that it looked too thick and messy. She said it was that way because I wanted it short. Excuse meee!! Nobody asked for it to be this short. I just wanted them slightly trimmed because they had grew a little. Then she started conversing with someone else who works there. Then she cuts them down to make them thinner and files them more and cuts me again on my other hand. I started bleeding again and she tries to stop the bleeding. At this point I'm just ready to go because I'm not about to go back and forth with someone who keeps saying that my nails came out this way because I wanted them short. When she finished I had polish all over my hands, cuts, they were uneven, bulky all over again, spotty in certain areas, and they are just atrocious so I asked her to just take them down because I don't have the time. Also I told her if she couldn't do it or didn't know how it was fine for her to have said she couldn't do it but don't do this to peoples nails. So she calls someone else over and they are saying they can fix it. She already butchered my nails and cut it all the way down how can you fix this. So the lady is like if you want us to take them off you have to pay for the first service and for us to take them down. I'm not doing that. I legit vocalized every step of the way and she cut me multiple times. Plus it still came out like this. The only thing the other woman did was sit me down to square them up more cause clearly that was the only thing she saw wrong. I then took a phone call and was expressing what happened and she kept talking into my conversation about how it was because I wanted them short and dipped. I took a picture of the business license because I one hundred percent am going to complain. 0/10 I can't say whether or not to go there but I can only say what my experience was less than an hour ago. This is how my nails look fresh from out of their chair. HORRIBLE!!! They don't have to worry about me coming back.

My customer came in" -- like what excuse me?....finish what you started aka my nails. So whatever she leaves and comes back and only does two layers of dip powder. And then she kept filing down my nails. I told her to stop but she kept filing them down..nails look horrible. I got a light color and light colors require multiple dips NOT to where you basically see my nail. I should have NOT gone and just kept my natural nails. Btw: she asked me 2 other times if I wanted pedicure and my eyebrows. I said, "no thank you" I went in for dip powder and was TERRIBLE... -Length was too short -- didn't ask for this short. Remind you that I walked in with stiletto shaped nails and it's not what I walked out with. -Didn't ask for almond shape -Two dips = too thin I'm not going here there's no recovery so now I have to wait for my nails to grow. She then told me that my skin tone was "fine." It was uncomfortable then, but I was a visitor in another country and chose to leave it there. That experience is precisely why I recognize what happened in your salon. Your technician did not simply use the words "dark skin" and leave room for me to misunderstand her meaning. She told me that she doesn't like dark skin, said that it was part of her culture, and then specifically distinguished my brown complexion by telling me that my skin was "fine" while darker skin was not. Explaining the cultural origin of a preference for lighter skin does not make that preference less colorist. Calling it a cultural or linguistic misunderstanding does not change what was said to me or what it meant. I also find the reference to your employees having "yellowish Asian skin tones" troubling. Being a person of color does not prevent someone from holding colorist attitudes toward people with darker complexions. Many of these salons are disrespectful and unprofessional, assuming I will return to complain or demand a refund the next day, especially for just regular polish. It's frustrating! I haven't seen her in almost four years and have visited about 50 technicians since then, all because I need immediate service and no longer live in the area. Despite that, I've only written maybe eight reviews in my entire life, and Linda is, without a doubt, the best nail and eyelash artist I've ever encountered. I knew before I she was finished that the polish would look grown out within the week because she didn't get close enough to the cuticle. My suggestion is to look at the progress after the first nail and stand firm on a redo. I don't want to mention the person because I should have insisted that she fix them before I left the salon.

She charged me $165 for services from $75 - $60 for an overlay full set and $15 for the French Design. Then she charged me $90 for a pedicure? $60 for a basic pedicure and $30 for the French and the callous removal. The $60 for a basic pedicure where there wasn't any extras like hot towels, foot scrub, stones, milk and honey, no wax or intense foot massage. Just a basic water with no jacuzzi, cuticle cut, callous removal $15 and a dry towel and French design. I will say I did get what I paid for but it was okay.
