I will say their prices seem high, but with that said, it is probably the very best contract business I have ever used. Daniel and Paige worked to ensure everything was 100% accurate before they began painting the soffit around my two-story house. They checked numerous times to match the color precisely, and Paige did two walk-throughs before the work got going. Paige came out with Daniel, and they did a first detailed walk of the house and pointed out everything that needed to be done. Where the soffit meets at the corners (about 8 places), the corners had begun to separate over the 25 years since the house was built. They provided a caulking service to close the gaps. Then they did a pressure wash of the entire area around the house, and after it dried, they first applied a coat of sealer to the entire soffit. They caulked the corners, and when that set, they used the highest quality Sherwin-Williams paint to complete the work. They hammered in any nail heads that had worked out and even removed a string of lights around the bay window, sealed and painted that soffit as well, and then re-fastened the lights. The two man crew worked efficiently and quickly. The process was completed in about 5 hours. Vivax also does various jobs with exterior remodeling, but they do not replace missing vinyl siding. I had a piece that the wind blew off, and I had to get a handyman to come hang that. They will repaint the siding if you have that need. I got three estimates, and the other two were abour 20% cheaper, but the first one never showed up, and the second one wanted 50% down to start the job, but I realized he could take my money and disappear. So after several months, Daniel reached out to me again, and I decided to go ahead with them. I am so glad I did. It really sets the house off and looks great. They also accept charge cards and are one of the few businesses today that do not hit you with a service charge for using a credit card! read more

Hubby and I bought our house in 2014, and, literally since we've moved in, we've been saying ad nauseam that we need to get it re-sided and repainted! It's an old 80's house, you see! We did our due diligence and read every single review imaginable, and they absolutely rose to the top! We called them, and Westleigh answered right away, and he came the next day (a Saturday) for an initial walkthrough and consultation. We liked his energy right away, and we knew that we had picked right! By the end of the walkthrough, we had a solid plan (siding, paint, new stain on the deck, fences, and pergola, and new gutters) and a fair and solid estimate. Next stop, pick paint. Now THIS was where a lot of the self-imposed stress came in! For a house this old, it was pretty hard to picture it any other way than what it's always been. Mushroom taupe with brown trim. My goal was to make it as classic as possible. Classic, simple, and gorgeous! To decide this, we watched every paint color YouTube available, and we used Vivax Pros super-helpful paint finding address thingie on their website to drive all around Austin looking at particular paint colors! We drove EVERYWHERE with a list of possible paint colors, and we scratched out the ones that we weren't fans of. Long story short, after weeks of this and of visits to Sherwin Williams and Lowe's, we settled on this: SW Alabaster for the body SW Urbane Bronze for the trim SW Iron Ore for the doors SW Riverwood stain for the deck, fences, and pergola Dark Bronze for the gutters After this, we met our project manager, Nikki, and she was just a doll! So easy to talk to, and SO knowledgeable about the entire project! Westleigh obviously took and shared seriously detailed notes because she was totally ready to go without having to fill her in on any of the project details! The construction team began their work on the first Monday of Spring Break, and they were completely finished by the next Saturday! Record speed, y'all, but, crucially, it was epic work at record speed! We kept the Yeti filled with cold drinks, and we kept the portable Bluetooth Bose speaker charged to keep things comfortable for them, and they were all such chill and cool people! It was as good an experience as one could hope for with this giant project, and we absolutely could NOT be more delighted with the results! My next stop in this review is for me to dig through the zillion pictures that I took of every step to figure out the best ones to include for y'all to peruse, so I'll do that now, but let me end with this: We made the exact RIGHT move by going with Austin's Vivax Pros team, and we recommend them without a single bit of reservation! Seriously, he described every detail of the prepwork process, and I couldn't believe I had found someone else as meticulous as I was! She was attentive to every request and made sure the job was done right. They wrapped every one of my outdoor lights and sprayed the cords so they blend in. TL;DR: Vivax might cost more than some other painters but it is worth the money. Full review: We hired Vivax for our exterior painting because we kept reading about their organized project management. I have worked in and around contractors for years and my wife is a project management professional so we have somewhat high expectations. After several contractors caused headaches with poor communication and organization, we were looking for some professionalism. Vivax gave us exactly that. At the office, Anna coordinated our project amazingly. We had to shift some dates multiple times while working around a window replacement. Confirmation emails and follow ups to confirm the color choices, everything was perfect. On site, Hayden was great too. There was a site walk a couple days early to make sure we were aligned on all paint body/trim/accent locations. We have stucco in the front and siding in the back, he helped us decide how to trim the rear windows. Excellent advice and it came out looking great. He communicated consistently so we knew when someone was coming to wash the house and when the painters would arrive on both painting days. When painting was done and everything dried, Hayden walked the house with me and found two touch-up spots that I didn't see - an untidy line above the electrical panel and one on the trim at the roofline 20 feet up. After we aligned on fixes and Hayden left, the painter showed up about 5 minutes later and had it all done in about 15 minutes. Hayden and Anna were fantastic and we are so happy with the outcome. Our neighbors and friends have all complimented the change from a drab yellow to our now beautiful gray exterior. We even had interior painters who complimented the great work on the exterior. Inevitably we'll need to use Vivax's extensive warranty someday, and this process with Hayden and Anna gives us confidence that the warranty process will be smoother than any other we've had. Vivax Pros first approached us through door-to-door solicitation. While I'm hesitant to do business through this method, it's standard for home exterior work like roofing or painting to come knocking first. The free estimate with discount if locked in before a certain time was enticing, not to mention our home's exterior was in need of new paint and repair. I thought, why not...it's about time. A helpful gentleman named Dallas conducted our free estimate. We were surprised to see the different tiers of paint quality + warranty were reasonably priced. Vivax was also able to quote us for some new fascia, soffit, and trim work that had damage from water or squirrel gnawing. We also had some vines on the front brick that partially grew onto some of the siding. At the time, Dallas confirmed they would be able to sand the spots/residue the vines left. After tallying it up and attentively listening to our needs, Dallas sat down to give us the breakdown. We ended up going with the mid-tier Duration paint with the 6 year warranty and some woodwork repair that would involve replacing the back gutters (newly replaced from recent new roofing). The prep process of pressure washing and caulking/sealing also came as a relief. After corresponding with Dallas a few times via email iterating on the estimate and asking questions, we agreed on the scope of work. Rachel attentively took over keeping us informed along the way as our paint date approached. Our next step was to lock down a paint color to submit to Vivax. I made a couple trips to Sherman Williams to select paint swatches. Anyone who's done interior or exterior painting knows these swatches can get overwhelming over time. I finally narrowed down my top choices and worked with the Sherman Williams rep to get 4 different quarts of paint to test out. During that transaction I found out Vivax should have scanned our existing house paint color and given us the custom code. In the past, I knew this was possible but completely skipped my mind during the estimate walkthrough. And rather than going with yet another custom color, I wanted to select one of Williams' existing paint colors to ease the process in the future. In the end I was very happy with this new color too! Vivax Pros also offered a coupon for quarts which helped at the time. The pressure washing appointment went quickly. A few days later I met with Hayden who managed our project. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. Our project took about three days to complete. The woodwork and paint team were three guys, down a man the first day. They knocked out all of the woodwork, caulked all seams, and paint the first day. They completed touch ups and chimney painting the second day. Throughout this process I started the process of taking pics of spots still needing attention. But I was relieved when Hayden showed up onsite and spotted those areas for me anyway and followed up with the team. And the aforementioned siding with vine residue on it, you could still see some of it through the initial paint coat which I was ok with. But to my added satisfaction, Hayden still requested the team do another sand job and repaint another couple coats! Saul and his paint team were very accommodating with any minor touch up or seal requests. The back gutters were replaced the third day delivering the final touch of professionalism. Overall, there were some minor issues along the way, but Vivax Pros ensured I was fully satisfied with the end result. I had a really good experience. When getting a quote they were very through, answered all my questions, did a walk through and talked through the cost and the initial steps they do. When confirming dates they were quick on when they could start the project and steps that would take place. I wasnt sure if color match was correct since on viewing it looked off so they sent a coupon so I could purchase samples (turns out color match was just right). When they started the project the project manager Hayden did a walk around, recapped everything that was agreed on, sent updates and pictures and made sure I was satisfied with every aspect of the work before payment. They even did little touchups at no extra cost such as straightening my gutter pour spout and covering up some chips in my backporch railing handle. Nothing felt like a pressure to buy.
