    Lavender lemon ice
    Faith D.

Funky flavors, representing the best of NM, and topped with edible floral pieces. The portions are sizable at two scoops--though not sure if $6 worth to be honest, puts it at a higher price than most boutique ice cream spots. But if you're at Sawmill, if it's a hot summer day, you can't go wrong with this nice treat.

I chose Amador Tennessee Whiskey, maple syrup and black walnut bitters. Yummy! Service at both locations was friendly and efficient. My daughter got strawberries, Nutella, bananas, and whipped cream on it. It was really good for a gluten-free crêpe. I got tacos from Flora two shrimp tacos and a root veggie taco and they were all good. All three tacos were gluten-free. I also got loaded fries from Meso Grill they had feta and Greek olives. They don't fry anything but falafel and french fries in the fryer both gluten free so there was no risk of cross contamination. My daughter got pho from Kulantro, which was gluten-free and she loved it. My sister ordered ramen from Clay Pot, which was not gluten-free she loved it too. Overall, everything was good.

It's salty, no calories, and pure heaven when done right! And Dakine does it exactly right! Not only that - they are the only place in town that sells the big juicy pickles (and hot pickles) that really make your mouth water! Their snow cones are true shaved ice. They shave it once you order. And you can get it with ice cream for just a tiny bit more. They also offer coffee beverages, nachos, and Hawaiian treats, including gourmet hot dogs. Really and truly, you just can't go wrong here and the price is right on everything! They also sell purified water here. I'm a freakish water snob and the water here is really good! It doesn't have that weird stale taste a lot of bottled water has and is super refreshing! My only "complaint" is that they are closed on Sunday because I need pickle snow cones 7 days a week! Ha! They do have pickle snow cones at Bahama Bucks but it's that nasty fake pickle juice that's sweetened (barf) and Dakine uses the real pickle juice and it is pure heaven!

First, let me start off by saying that shaved ice is wayyyyy bedda than a snow cone (in my humble…read moreopinion)...the texture & consistency is so smooth, the flavoring doesn't fall to the bottom, option to add ice cream at the bottom, or cream on top. They use reverse osmosis to purify their water, and make shaved ice from there. Kids cup sizes $1.50...customer service that seriously SHINES in the true spirit of Aloha!! They also serve smoothies, blended coffee drinks, gourmet hot dogs, 100% beef, and the combos look really interesting!!! I definitely would like to try the Habanero surfer or the wasabi surfer next time around!! They serve hoagies, sliders with Hawaiian mac salad, nachos, spam musubi, and pretzels. I saw some super sized cookies available, and even some Hawaiian imports including mustard, coffee, tea, chocolates and macadamia nuts. Bags of shaved or crushed ice also available. It's nice to know their shaved ice has No High Fructose, No Corn Syrup, No Preservatives, Fat Free (Sugar Free available) and Gluten free. They also offer party packages which are so reasonable!!! I ordered the "tango" with cream on top (orange & mango combo) & the kids couldn't decide, so the rainbow was suggested and they were not disappointed ~ Locally owned and operated...what a joy it was to meet yet another passionate business owner who loves serving this community.

Unlike the new Nun movie, you're actually scared of finishing this product instead of wishing it'll end where it started. Also, at almost every location you'll see a dreadful tinder date unfolding right before your eyes as two cyber lovers try to find a middle ground as they're balls deep in some of Bahama Bucks delicious shaved ice. And not to mention it's a complete BABE attraction, think about every cheerleader you saw in high school and wished you can talk to but never did because they're too pretty but this time they graduated and now they all hang out at Bahama Bucks and they still don't wanna talk to your loser ass. Lol But in all seriousness, this place is the dopest dope and I'd definitely snort a line of Bahama Bucks shaved ice ANY day, like a crack head coming out of relapse, my body is ALWAYS ready.

I note other reviews have complained about the same thing. Unless you have ALL day to wait and waste gas sitting in line - go elsewhere!!!
