I ordered a baby size, a small size, and a flat-topped Avalanche. I was waiting in line and two workers just stood there, watched us and didn't bother to take our order or the woman in front of us. There was only worker making the snow cones while the others were talking to their friends from behind the counter. The young lady taking the drive through orders was showing bad customer service yelling at the customers over the speaker, waited almost 20 minutes for our snow cones just for them be mostly ice and no flavoring. This place is so much fun! Especially on a hot day to walk in and see all of the beach decor and all of the bright colors is really refreshing! The menu is enormous and there is absolutely something for everyone. I would recommend taking a look at the menu before you go because the options are endless. The young people behind the counter are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The shaved ice is outstanding down to the amount of flavoring and presentation. Tons of seating inside as well as games for the family to play. I was amazed at the low amount of calories in this treat and will probably be choosing it over ice cream in the near future. There was a poster promoting Fiesta Flavors, too...I dunno if that's seasonal, but the ones that caught my eye were horchata, mango and melon (you can add chili salt or chamoy). There's lots of skinny flavors. You can get ice cream on the bottom. You can add picadilly...I have no idea what that is. Fun place. I am obsessed with snow cones and wanted to give this place a try. There were so many flavors, combinations, and options (creme or no creme that is the question??). I got the small (12 oz) toasted coconut/ red raspberry mix (normally I just go for a blue raspberry flavor). The "snow" was soft and different from so many carnival snow cones. This is my first time at Bahama Buck's! It's located in the ulta, Bed bath and beyond (recently closed), medical spa, etc parking lot. I actually thought it was a coffee shop because of the outside marketing and the drive thru. I finally stopped in and found a free shaved ice with checkin on the yelp app. I ordered a baby size (8oz) passion fruit and strawberry with the bahama mama addition (ice cream only). This place was really busy! We didn't know what we wanted so it gave us time to look at the menu. We only had to wait a few minutes before our order was ready. It seems like most people go through the drive thru or get it to go. There were only a few customers eating inside. The three young employees inside were friendly and welcoming. The shaved ice was fine for the desert, but nothing comparable to the shaved ice you'd find in Hawaii. It cost us $6 including the discount. The price is a little high for me compared to another dessert I would get somewhere else. My new Summer Favorite! Ahhh how I love shaved Ice! This place is fast and efficient. They had a good crowd come in and we added to that. With in 10 minutes we were munching on our delicious concoctions of flavor. Such a nice treat to have when we were out in the heat all day. I love Bahama Buck's! The snow cones are delicious only comparable to those in Hawaii! I would strongly recommend getting the "BAHAMA RAMA MOMA" it adds cream on the top and ice cream on the bottom. That being said I have also gotten the original and loved it! My preference for syrups are mango and peach. I would advise you that the line to order can be a little lengthy both in store and on their drive through. There are so many different flavors and it can sometimes be overwhelming since they have three flavors that are all just coconut. But I'm happy to report they taste very different. They have ice mixed with ice cream as well. I had the horchata flavor and man was that amazing. They served it with cinnamon sugar on top. They give you a spoon that changes colors when dipped into the ice - so cool. This is a nice change from your normal ice cream shop, as it isn't as filling. I go to the Bahama Bucks on Holly and Ventura and I love them! Always friendly and fast even though their team is pretty young. I also love the drive through feature which they're able to navigate quickly. If you check in on Yelp, they give a BOGO sno which is a really nice perk. I rarely stick to the same thing at restaurants because I love trying things, especially here since they have TONS of flavors but I have to say that Birthday Cake with ice cream is my absolute favorite! I usually go for the traditional watermelon or fruity snow cone but this one is just So good! One time I went through the drive through and ordered a small toasted coconut sno and I think they accidentally gave me a birthday cake with ice cream sno but I was really happy because it was so good. However, the next time I went, I ordered toasted coconut because I thought that's what I had received the previous time and it just wasn't as good.
